Hawthorne Beer Market

It was my first time at Hawthorne, but my boyfriend had been there many times. I am definitely going there again, everything was 10/10.

We had fantastic burgers and fish tacos, the plates were full, the food hot and delicious! We even hit the happy hour beer to boot, will definitely tell go again, our server was fantastic, the restaurant was clean and we felt "safe"

Our bartender, Paige, was friendly, attentive, and suggested a couple of new options for us that were outstanding! Loved the Diablo and the red sangria. Outstanding service and the food was excellent! Definitely a gem in Cloverdale to visit.

I had the bbq ribs which were flavourful, although over cooked/chewy. My daughters had the chicken wings, which they enjoyed.

Great place for a date night! Love the food, people and atmosphere.

Sat at the bar with Paige as our server. Very entertaining and excellent service!!! Lettuce wrapped market burger was outstanding, and the Oatmeal stout was amazing!

Fish taco was all batter almost burnt and greasy the small amount of the fish was fishy tasting. Waitress didn’t even ask how it was especially when I left more than 3/4 of it won’t be back

Hawthorne Restaurant delivers again with great food. Happy Hour provides regular sized potions at a reduced price. Yes, COVID protocols are followed

the server was awesome the wings and ceasar salad was fantastic
the market burger and crispy burger were just ok, lack taste, all the ingredients were there just needed a good sauce, the fries were fantastic as well.

Overall loved it and hope you can come up with a new sauce for the burgers :)

All around great place. Food is always consistent and the service and management are wonderful. Great beer list to top it all off.

New Year’s Eve

Love, love, love the Hawthorne! I come in a lot! The food is awesome! Gotta try the curry lime mussels, and the Foreplay Martini! Yummm! And the staff are awesome!

Always a great place for dinner. But please bring back the peanut butter pie!

The food was wonderful as was the service and beer! One of our favorite Coverdale spots

it was good every thing was fine as it wasn't busy so that was nice and have been there lots of times at least 2 times a year

Saneeta is an amazing server! Very friendly, attentive and fun! Food was exceptional! Market burgers ( lettuce-wrap or with bun) were excellent! Mushroom soup was amazing, and beer was outstanding! It is our 1 place we visit regularly during Covid times.

We have enjoyed a few evenings at the Hawthorn and can always recommend the food and service. We like the ambience of the restaurant. It is a casual feel with great food. Service is friendly and relaxed. It is nice to have a restaurant like this close by. And walking thru downtown Cloverdale is a very homey feel. Especially with all the lights for Christmas right now.

We did the Happy Hour for dinner, great selections and the entrees are not down sized versions compared to a regular dinner. Very tasty and yes COVID protocols are followed

We always love going to the Hawthorne especially when Josh is our server. He has the perfect blend of making sure everything is OK and leaving you alone enjoy your meal.

The Happy hour Caesar cocktail was fabulous and the meals were especially delicious. We had the fish tacos and the avocado burrito bowl. Even though the burrito bowl has jalapeño peppers it was not spicy.

The place is great and you get good value for your money. Always a great variety of beer on tap.
