Very upset with our experience at Heaven’s Kitchen! We’ve been there before and the service and food were amazing! So we were really looking forward to going back. This time round it was a completely different experience. The front of house were lovely but the food and chef were awful. We ordered a Chateau Briand medium rare and what we got was an unseasoned bland well done steak. We sent it back and they brought another but this time it was unseasoned, bland, blue and ice cold In the middle (frozen meat) they took it back and bought it back again and it was the same. The front of house was very apologetic but the chef came out aggressively to tell us that we were wrong and the meat was medium rare and it was unseasoned but that is why they provide salt and pepper on the table 😳. He then followed on to say “please can you finish your drinks and leave”. I’ve never ever received such awful food and then made to feel that we were bad people for complaining about having to eat overcooked /undercooked pre frozen £55 steak 😮. We were not the only people that left unhappy with their meals (not paid) that night but we got the brunt of the bad tempered chef !!!

Steak was a little dry and tasteless
But they changed it straight away, and was better the second time
4th visit, and will be back

We had an amazing meal here to celebrate my husbands birthday. The social distancing
guidelines were adhered to and everyone wore masks when moving around in the restaurant. The food we chose was delicious and the staff were very attentive. We did not feel rushed, even given the fact that they were busy!
We would definitely recommend it and we plan to return again.

Food was absolutely delicious and the service was excellent.

Nice quiet ambience as to be expected on a Monday, service was as expected level.

Lobster starter and Baileys Crepes were a little chewy but otherwise the whole evening was great and as vulnerable people we felt very safe.

Amazing venue! Will definitely visit again. Easy to book. Steaks cooked to perfection!

If we want steak based meal which we do quite often there is only one place to go.....heavens kitchen.

Steak was absolutely brilliant as all ways also the starter was top notch and always feel welcome and attended to you. The staff always made sure my wine glass was filled and if I was ok.

After many visits here we unfortunately had an extremely poor experience. Willing to except that things go wrong, but incredibly poor customer service and was handled so badly, that we left having had no main course. Just days before lockdown it seems very short sighted to treat long standing customers so badly. You always learn a lot about a business when things go wrong, how they deal with it, how they treat customers and how they look to correct the issue. These guys score 0/5 on all three. Very disappointed.

Superb food. Excellent starters (the mussels are phenomenal) and steaks as well as lovely sides. Keep coming back. Shame about lockdown 2.0 but look forward to seeing you on the other side. H&S

The restaurant continually produces very good food and service. It's good to see that it attracts a steady flow of diners and such a shame, as for others, it will need to close again for 4 weeks!
We did tell the owner/manager that it would have been perfect but for the fact they had not advised on their website that tables were only available for one and half hours. We would have booked a later time had we known this. This slightly spoilt our evening as we felt very rushed during the last course so as to vacate our table - not a good end to the evening.

I have ordered a couple of Roast Dinners from HK now and they were superb so decided to visit the restaurant for a meal. Staff brilliant, food brilliant which explains why it was busy.
Only criticism i would say that i was let down when ordering the 3rd Sunday Roast in a row due to there being no meat left but this is understandable in the current climate and i had had my heart set on it so was a bit disappointed.
Look forward to my next Sunday Roast though.

The food was so great! I loved the share steak that I had with my dad and my mum said the burger was in of the best she's ever had! It was cold sitting by the window but the food soon warmed us up when it came

Absolutely fantastic!! The service was prompt, the food was amazing- my steak was beautiful- the ambience was great and the two for one topped it off. I would/have definitely recommend.

Waited half-an-hour for our soup, and then another half-an-hour for our main course. Food good but over-priced, as indeed was the wine. Overall, disappointing and unlikely to return.

Went for dinner. It was fine - not as nice as I had expected. Firstly, it felt crowded in light of current Covid restrictions. The food was nice, but we felt rushed. Our main courses came whilst we were still eating our starter. Whilst the waiter apologised as the evening went on we wondered if this was intentional to hurry us up. They were clearly busy and desperate for tables as quickly as possible. We overheard them asking a nearby table to leave as tables are only booked for 2 hour slots - we certainly weren’t made aware of this at any point during the course of our booking. The food was nice enough, but the chips nicer than the steak which was tougher than expected. As we were looking to pay again, we overheard the waiters saying “they’re going to be leaving soon so that frees up another 2. Overall, an ok evening, but just ok. Too much focus on quantity of customers rather than quality of service.
