Service and food was very good would recommend to our friend

The service was fantastic however the food was so underwhelming.
The Greek salad had no flavour lacked any acidity the vegetables did not taste fresh.
The lamp cutlets came out so over cooked they were like eating bricks.
The Saganaki was also overcooked and disappointing.

Upon entering accommodating staff from the onset, met our wishes , great atmosphere and the food divine. Will return

What items are GF and couldn’t confirm a lot of things for us. Ordered some cucumber and it was mouldy they gave us a free drink but it didn’t really make up for the experience. Very disappointing considering I had been waiting to go there. Glad I tried it out before taking anyone else.

Excellent food, great atmosphere. Also to have lunch/ dine in with children. Very friendly staff.

Service was terrible. Waiter would not leave us to enjoy our meal and cleared out champagne glasses before we had finished our drink. At the end of the meal waiter asked us how much we would like to tip which came across very rude to which we said nothing as the service was terrible and he then turned his back on us never to return to our table again. Would not recommend to anyone. Terrible experience for our anniversary dinner.

Nothing to fault. The staff were helpful and had survived beautifully with the rain (we were seated in a covered outdoor space which was brilliant) with raincoats and umbrellas to bring out our feast.
The food was tender and tasty and we left way too full!

I have dined at H 2 times before. Both times I was impressed however this time the service was terrible!
We had to wait for 10 mins to be seated. When we sat down the waiter asked if we wanted water and then never bought any so we had to ask about 15 mins later and a few times throughout the night. When the other waiter bought our drinks, she spilt a cocktail on the end of my dress and didn’t apologise.
Then when we’re leaving the waiter said “I’m going to really need this table in 2 mins”. I think there are nicer ways to say there is another booking.
Have recommended this restaurant to a number of people in the past but this time service was so bad I felt like I needed to write this review.

excellent service, great food, cant fault it. Suggest, cautiously, to make sure the waitstaff (pink jackets brigade) keeps looking fresh and well dressed.

I have visited this restaurant twice in the past month and each time I came I found the wait staff quite rude. The front of house staff were lovely each time and the food was great. I just don’t think I would visit again due to the unfriendly wait staff.

I’ve been to Hellenika many times, but this time was nowhere near how I had experienced it in the past.

My bread came out burnt, the serving staff seemed distracted and the attention to detail wasn’t what I know the restaurant quality to be.

Won’t be back. Food was rushed, 7 courses in 30 minutes felt more like a McDonald’s rushing things out. Really poor value, food quality wasn’t great.

Having visited this restaurant numerous times in the past of which I enjoyed endlessly, we were looking forward to celebrating a birthday dinner here. Unfortunately the food and presentation was mediocre and thoroughly disappointing. Having eaten at a competitor’s Greek restaurant only weeks earlier the difference in quality and presentation were worlds apart.

The saganaki was flavourless, the grilled octopus was burnt and chewy, and the lamb was dry with the accompanying potatoes tasting like they’d been reheated. I can say the Greek salad was the only enjoyable aspect of the meal.

Incredibly disappointing given Hellenika has been one of my favourite restaurant locations in Brisbane since it opened.

This may have been a one off, however it was disappointing enough for me to say I won’t be returning anytime soon. I hope they take the opportunity to have someone assess their meals and the quality they are presenting customers with, you can only survive off of influencer and ‘Instagram-worthy’ interest for so long. Repeat customers will return time and time again if the food remains of the standard it was when it first opened. Time to have a look at whether the standard has remained I think!

Lovely everything but I think it could have done without the background music. There was enough chatty customer noise without the added music. Just a small thing but everything else was amazing 😊

While the food and ambience are hard to beat in Brisbane, the service was sloppy and disorganised.

We were initially brought different dishes to the ones ordered, including double servings of some. Additionally, we were served the incorrect bottle of wine, which has considerably more expensive than the one we had ordered.

Wine and water glasses were only topped up upon request.

Staff were friendly, but there is clearly room for improvement.

Always the best in Brisbane!

Hellenika never disappoints! We have dined here several times and the overall experience is always memorable. Our waitress in particular, was fabulous! Thanks again for another awesome dining experience!! We look forward to returning again very soon.

We were not aware of the seating time and limit. We felt we were getting rushed

Food good modern Gree; wide choice especially local and interstate seafood. Good cocktails; better than good sommelier who engaged with us in choosing wine. Will very happily return.

The most beautiful place in Brisbane to dine, but the actual breakfast - or maybe what we ordered - was less than exciting. My partner was still hungry after his eggs which were average (lots of places do better eggs) , and I had muesli - which might sound boring - but in the right hands can be amazing. Had much better breakfasts at even weird little cafes. Worth it for the surroundings though.

The quality of the food and wine is fabulous. Hellenika is lovely for share platters and chatting but it is expensive so won’t be for everyone’s budget. The whole cod and lamb was delicious.

Food was tasty. No servers - walked all they way out before we then walked back in and found someone to assist in us paying bill.
For what we spent - we would of spent a lot more if wait staff we’re more attentive and we could find someone to take our drink orders

The food is INCREDIBLE! Specially the fish dip and the octopus.

This will be the third time I have been to Hellenika and I haven't been disappointed. We were in a Cabana booth which is great for groups and has a great atmosphere. We are now just thinking for another excuse to go back!

Delicious zucchini fries, spanakopita is the best I’ve ever tasted and the bbq’d calamari was delicious!!!

Burnt toast, hard poached eggs very little service.

Food was dry and lacking in flavour. A real pity as from some online reviews, I was expecting “the best Greek food in Australia”. The best thing about the meal was the wine, which can’t be attributed to the restaurant as someone else makes it!

The music was unreasonably loud to have a conversation at the table.

Food was delicious and the cocktails were amazing. Definitely will be returning

Forgot some of our order and then told us it would be 25mins to fix it. Super expensive for what it is.
