Unfortunately not a brilliant experience here; it was xmas eve so this may have impacted on our experience.
Firstly, we found the choice of 70s disco music (and loud volume) to be a bit off putting.
Although some of the small plates were nice, we found the curry to be inedible- we were advised by the server that the curry was spicy however when arrived it didn't look appealing, it lacked any flavour and was overall a very poor dish. We did ask if this could be swapped as we would not be able to eat it, this was not accommodated by the server. So we actually had 5 plates instead of the 6 we paid for.
The place felt a bit at odds with itself ~ the food, decor and environment all seemed unaligned. It wasn’t a relaxing evening & we did feel a bit rushed by the server.
We appreciate it was xmas eve and that Covid regulations are putting alot of pressure on the hospitality sector and its employees , however we were disappointed with this restaurant ~ we would add that We think the place has potential.

I’d never been to Heritage before but it had very good reviews on TripAdvisor and was mentioned in the Time Out Top 10 restaurants in Liverpool list so I thought we’d give it a go. It was well worth the visit. The food was delicious and there was plenty of it. My husband and I shared 6 small plates and there was more than enough for two people with big appetites. They had a good wine list, lots of cocktails and the atmosphere was very festive. We really enjoyed our night!

We chose Heritage because of the varied menu and it didn't disappoint. The food was very good. Would highly recommend the cauliflower and the aubergine dishes. Chips were great too. All well presented. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Restaurant was quiet but we did have an early booking. Would definitely go again.

I had the most fantastic Sunday dinner at Heritage. We went for the three course option which was great value and we finished the lot. Everything was so tasty and cooked from fresh. Would highly recommend it this place for food and drinks!

Good food and service- some different dishes

Lovely place. Food was fantastic. Friendly staff. Spoke to Alun the owner and he was lovely and down to earth. Would deffinately be booking again in the future. Thank you for great food and quick service :)

Beautiful food (go for the cauliflower and the seabass), unusual flavour combinations, "small" plates much bigger than that would suggest. Go, eat, drink. You wont be disappointed.

My daughter & I had a delicious Sunday lunch. The food and service was excellent. The staff are really friendly. We will definitely return. The 2 for £10 cocktails was on until 9pm on a Sunday which was great.

Mostly good. Some of the dishes were really interesting. They seemed busier than they expected so the service was a bit slow and inattentive. Maybe the service is a better on a typical night.

We have been to heritage a few times now . The food is delicious. We love the small plates . A very friendly atmosphere. All the staff are very helpful if you need any help choosing food or drink. A very enjoyable experience. Will definitely be going back again.

Had the Sunday lunch, looked lovely but the beef was a big piece and very fatty. The potatoes where very hard, the carrots where nice. The gravy was tasty but had a fatty taste to it.
