Hi-Way Harry's

It was ok. Staff didn’t really seem to have a plan. We had to wait a long time for appetizers and it came with our soup/salad.
We had to ask for steak knives for our steak and basically by the time we got them it was cold.
We were in a back corner and it was very dark.
It was NYE and they were out of prime rib and porterhouse by 7 pm. Poor planning.

We had a wonderful brunch! The waitress was very friendly! We never felt rushed or hurried, we had a child with us, and the seating area was great! Thank you for everything! Merry Christmas!

I always find that I need to dress warm because the temperature is on the cooler side. I like the buffet because they have some really good choices if you're not on a diet. Would like to see more vegetarian and lower fat options. On the really good side, they don't rush you and it's a great opportunity to spend quality time with the people you're with.

Hi-Way Harry’s is a modern-day supper club! The name doesn’t do it justice, as it is a classy restaurant with excellent food. I’ve been there twice now, but definitely will return to have their Sunday Brunch.

It was very good. Portions were great. Sefvice outstanding.

Food was delicious! I had the ravioli with spinach and added shrimp. It was soooooo good!

Food just ok. I have had better there. Beer was flat. But I will go again because it is very convenient

Not a busy evening in the restaurant. Open tables so no excuse for the lack of service we were given by our waitress. She took one drink order when we sat down and that was it. No water refills, forgot request by our friend and cold tuna steak. Orders took forever.

The only positive was a cheap bill.

I had the fish fry special and it was delicious. Our waitress was always there when we needed her and we enjoyed our luncheon.

Another great dining experience at a favorite restaurant. Thanks for even giving us our favorite table!

We really liked the building, and the decor. The service was ok. I think our waitress was nice, but maybe a little distracted. All the staff were pleasant. The food was mediocre at best. Hash browns were either burnt or cold. The hash brown patty things looked burnt. Didn't even look appealing. Biscuits and gravy were bland as could be. The variety was good overall, thank goodness. I've had better food at complimentary breakfast buffets in hotels. I did not feel the food was worth $20 a person. Maybe dinner items are different. We will try that sometime.

We ate on the patio and there were way too many flies to contend with. Feel like all I did was swat them to keep them off of me and my food so it made the evening unpleasant and we could not wait to get out of there. Probably should have eaten inside without the flies. They need to put in something to kill the flies and mosquitoes so the patio patrons have a better experience or close it down. Chairs on the patio did not have cushions and this was also uncomfortable.

When we got seated our waitress did not come right away. We ordered our drinks and they messed up on rum and coke, didn’t bother to say that it would be Pepsi. We never got bread like the other tables. We order an appetizer and had no plates to go with it. The manager on duty walked by our table, I had to speak up loud to ask for some water. Order our dinner around 7:30pm, our dinner didn’t come out till 8:15pm. No explanation of why the long wait. Our waitress never checked on us. They asked for our feedback I filled it out and went to go give it to the hostess or manager couldn’t find anyone. All the kids who were on their cell phones. Waitress needs more training. If you are going to clean the table make sure the clean silverware is not on the table first.

Highway Harry's! Don't be fooled by the name. It sounds like a truckers/family style restaurant but it is not. It is actually a stylish restaurant. Yet, you can dress casually or you can dress up for your anniversary. The doors are big and heavy, but easy to open. When you first walk in you are greeted with a waterfall. It has many different seating arrangements: a dinning area with a fireplace, an outside courtyard fo reating, rooms for parties and meetings, a bar with a fireplace as well. The menu is not large. I have heard the smaller the menu the higher quality the food. I find this to be true. The steaks are hand cut to ensure the quality of the steaks. The hamburgers are large and of high quality as well, thus DELICIOUS! Really, everything I have eaten there is delicious. It is my favorite restaurant to eat at in Johnson Creek.

What a beautiful place. We were extremely impressed with everything. I had Harry's Signature Salad, the other two in my party had Chicken Parmesan and the Tuna Melt. We all thought they were wonderful. The only thing that didn't meet our expectations was the Ice Tea, really weak. Definitely would eat there again.

Enjoyable experience, nice environment for a business lunch.

It was a beautiful summer day to eat on their patio. It was not crowded and We felt safe. We had great service and the food was very good. There was a large selection of entries on the menu to pick from.

The food was excellent as always. But what stands out about this place is the building and the ambiance. Waterfalls. Fireplaces. Secluded quiet areas to dine. And the wait staff is very attentive. Old-school dining in an upscale modern version of the country club. Very nice.

Went to the Sunday Brunch buffet. Excellent selection and food.

I prefer to patronize businesses that are taking more COVID precautions (staff wearing masks, tables spaced out to 6 feet+, etc) I will not return for a while as these are not in place here.

Food and service great- price reasonable. What more do you need?

We stopped going to Hi-Way Harry's two years ago after several extremely poor dinner meals compounded by indifferent service. We wanted to support our local businesses and gave them a second chance last week. Outstanding! What a remarkable turn-around. The artichoke/chip appetizer was fabulous and our entrees were superb. Our waitress was friendly, informative and prompt. If you were like us and gave up on this restaurant, you owe it yourself to give them another try. Highly recommend.

Breakfast burrito was awesome!

We had an early lunch with friends. The food was pretty good. The service was excellent. Not obtrusive but always ready to refill. Wife had Cajun chicken and other than the chicken being a bit overdone and dry, it was tasty. I had steak.

We had a wonderful meal and no hurrying us along. The soup, corned beef and sauerkraut, was too salty, but everything else was delicious.

Service was spotty and not accurate. Food was luke warm. Salads and soups were served only minutes before entrees. Errors in order caused us to not be able to eat as a group.

There was a nice selection but was out of item, not well stocked with fresh items.

The restaurant staff and management was very attentive. The food was good. They had a special menu for Valentine's Day, which was limited. I would have preferred the regular offerings.

The service was slow and the dinner was warm at best as if it had been sitting too long before being served. We did not realized we should have received bread until we saw other tables receive bread. The waitress apologized and offered to wrap one to go.

Great food. Great experience. Worth the drive.

Big positive changes in the quality of the food and the professionalism of the wait staff

The dinner & evening were nice. We met friends there. The only issue was that the server was not very attentive. We sat with empty water glasses & coffee cups for quite a while.

Made a reservation and were seated right on time for Sunday brunch. Wait staff was friendly and prompt. Good selection of food items and great food.

The interior is showing its age. The menus have been used for a long time. Had to exchange silverware twice because it was dirty. That said the food was all good. It just seems like the whole staff was on autopilot and the owner is just riding out the investment.

This place is excellent. It was our first time and it exceeded our expectations. The ambiance, food and service were all top-notch. It was a wonderful experience at a very reasonable price. Hi-Way Harry’s is highly recommended by us. We are already thinking about planning our next meal there.

Had a drink at the bar while waiting for the rest of the party to show and bartenders were personable and friendly! Great mix of giving us our space to chat and catch up while offering great recommendations.
