   I have been wanting to go here for a long time and it did not disappoint. Went for Lunch as we had an appointment in Newcastle. The duck salad was an absolute joy a symphony of flavours on the plate. Cod for the main and the fish was beautifully cooked again wonderful flavours. On to dessert... The Blood Orange Posset WOW words cannot do justice, it was sublime, a taste sensation. Easily the best dessert I have tasted in a very long time. Normally I would have cheese after a meal but I am so glad I didn't. Great chefs and staff. Can't wait to go back.

   Had a brilliant experience at Hibou Blanc for mine and my partners anniversary. Food was amazing and could not fault the service at all. The team made the meal really special for us, and Amy was an absolute star!

   Had an absolutely lovely lunch , the staff were fab, attentive but not in your face all the time a perfect balance. Food was delicious and the decor and music playing was spot on ! Can’t wait to return xx

    First time visiting Hibou Blanc and we would definitely return. The food was beautiful. We enjoyed a 3 course Sunday lunch and it was worth every penny. The most memorable part of our visit was the staff and the service. Manager Amy inparticular was fantastic and she could not have done anymore to ensure we had an amazing experience. Amy's customer service shines through and I will absolutely recommend and be back for another amazing experience.

    We were a party of six celebrating my birthday. I started with the seafood cocktail which was lovely and then had the dover sole which was fresh and very tasty! My daughter was raving about her French onion soup, the best she had ever had. Service was great but not obtrusive. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable. Lovely cocktails and great wine selection too. A very enjoyable experience!

    Great find in the heart of Newcastle Bigg market.elegantly tasteful decor compliments a terrific ambience.From the moment we presented ourselves for lunch ,staff were polite and attentive,the food was quietly simple but extremely tasty, cocktails we had were delicious, well done to all we will be back.

    Bar area is excellent with great cocktails, service at the bar friendly & efficient. We had Sunday lunch, restaurant very cosy, food selection was good, choices we made of fish cake & soup, beef & pork were superb & finished off with a cheeseboard. Waitresses were professional & friendly.

    Our first visit and ina recommendation. Overall disappointed with our experience. The bar area was very noisy and slow service and not overly clean. The restaurant lacked atmosphere and service was below average.

    Everything was great. The food was very nice and the staff were nice too. Only small issues was that the table was a bit wobbly. I will definitely be back!

    I loved the interior - if only Newcastle had more places like this. Service was really good. Guess I’m struggling to get my head around the cost. I k ow fuel bills are having a knock on effect but £36 for a fish dish. This isn’t a Michelin star restaurant but prices are.

    We love this restaurant! Every time we visit, the food is outstanding, the wines are great and good value and the staff are really lovely. You never feel rushed and whenever you ask for anything, it’s quick to be brought to the table. The ambiance is always lovely and the bar is great too. Ten out of ten.

    Food was amazing, the service was fantastic we had a young blond girl, not sure of her name she couldn’t have been any nicer. The decor is lovely and has a great atmosphere.

    We thorough enjoyed our first visit here after lots of very high recommendations. The food was excellent & the fixed price menu perfectly reasonably priced for the quality. Wine & drinks choices extensive & high quality. The decor and ambiance are excellent, it’s like being transported to a different world. But, what really sets HB out is the outstanding service from enthusiastic, clearly invested, attentive but not overbearing staff expertly led by example by the restaurant manager (young female whose name I’m sorry I didn’t get). We can’t wait to return!

    I thought the flavours of all three courses were excellent but I would only say the starter was at the correct portion size. The main course and dessert were very small the chicken supreme was actually cut in half with one carrot, one parsnip and one potato.

    Really nice venue. Food takes a but longer than normal but it's a lovely place so didn't mind being there a for a while. Will definitely be back, filler steak was amazing 👏

    If you are booking for a Rwsyayrant week offer be careful. Though their voucher states it runs throughout the week , please check what dates they state. Or you will pay normal price. A little bit of a unsavoury con that left a bitter sweet taste in my mouth. Spoilt the experience for me xx

    Visited for restaurant and the food was very tasty and good value for money. The waiting staff were excellent as always. Unfortunately we were seated next to the toilets, kitchen service area and opening to the bar area so it was very noisy once the dj started. Overall though a good experience and will go back but will ask for a different table.

    Great little find in a part of the City you perhaps wouldn’t expect it to be situated. The place is split into to 2 rooms: a bar area and the restaurant. The restaurant is like stepping back in time, beautifully decorated and it really adds to the experience. Food was lovely - only slight complaint would be that the portion sizes are quite small for how much you are playing. I had the King Scallop for starter and a Fillet steak and I’d recommend both. Steak was cooked to perfection. My partner had the duck and said it’s one of the nicest meals she’s ever had, so would recommend that! Service was excellent and considering it was a fully booked Friday night they were very on the ball with everything.

    Had a meal here for restaurant week with my partner. We paid £3 supplement for cheese board to be then given a tea plate with 3 grapes 5 tiny crackers and 2 bits of cheese thsat wouldn’t fill a tooth!

    We took the opportunity to try Hibou Blanc during Restaurant Week, where we had 3 courses for £25. Super value. Everything about it was just up my street. Beautiful decor from the moment we went in the door. The service was excellent and the food first class. Its probably the best dining experience we’ve had in Newcastle. We will be back without doubt.
