Hinterland Brewery & Restaurant
Beautiful place, friendly service
But for the price of the pizza, I expected more.
It was good but not spectacular and so small for the price.
Beer was delicious and priced right for a brewery and for the taste.
i know i don't like mahi mahi that much, but had it anyway. My server was a bit rushed, but still attentive.
My wife kids and I ate dinner at your establishment on a Saturday night. We enjoyed it the fiod was great and the beer also. thanks.
what a cute place, they have large garage doors that open to a patio so even if you are sitting inside it feels like you are on the patio. Food was amazing! we had the fried cheese curds and Brussel sprouts for an appetizer which was great and finished off with the Salmon for dinner. highly recommend and it over looks the football stadium
Excellent food and service. Our picky children loved it and actually ate all of their food.
Food was great, we had heard negative things about it but decided to try it for ourselves and so glad we did - great food and service.
Great outdoor seating with awesome view of Lambeau.
Shrimp pasta entree should not have baby cocktail shrimp. Makes the $26 meal look cheap. 4 large shrimp presents much better. Fish tacos need more flavors(avocado, spicy aioli, something!) Tasted like fish fry with salsa. Service was excellent and social distance dining was great!
This was our first experience at Hinterland and we were impressed with our server, the food, the beer, and the atmosphere! We will be back! Keep up the good work!
The food was perfection!
Food and service was excellent. Packer land Pilsner was great.
Tried this place for the first time based on online reviews--very happy with our choice! Our server Karen was not only very knowledgable about the menu/drink options, but also steered us toward the best beverage based on our individual preferences! She was easygoing and attentive without being overbearing in the slightest. She was even able to tell us a bit about the surrounding area as we were visiting from out of town. We ordered the gochujang bbq wings, poke bowl, and ribeye. Our food came out much faster than we expected. Everything was excellent! The steak was a little bit undercooked for medium rare, but they were more than happy to cook it a little longer at our request. The only thing I would have to say is that the kimchi coleslaw that came along with the wings was a bit of a letdown, but that's probably because of my Korean background. I found it to be a bit tasteless, especially after the flavor explosion of the gochujang wing sauce (which I LOVED). Order the salted caramel bread pudding for dessert, which was a bit drier than I expected. Would have loved to get more gelato because of it. But the flavor of the dessert was softly sweet and almost smoky somehow. As far as public health safety, every staff member was wearing masks, and the tables were socially distanced (inside and out). There was also hand sanitizer as soon as we walked into the venue. The food and the drinks were great, but I'd say that the most memorable part of our dining experience was Karen. Best server ever--give that woman a raise! Will definitely return whenever we're back in the area!
We ate outside, beautiful night. Tuna poke bowl, cheese curds, BBQ pizza, Barramundi and meatloaf were excellent! Best meal out in forever - food was spot on!
A Monday night; COVID restrictions; not terribly busy. Our server, Grace, was wonderful and very attentive! Ordered appetizers to share (the Brussel Sprouts) were delicious. I ordered mushroom pizza and my husband ordered meatloaf-both outstanding. Overall a great experience:)
Amazing food and drinks were good. Didn’t have to wait for a table
From the moment we walked in to the time we left our service was stellar, we felt cover-19 safe, and the food was excellent, as always. Hinterland has taken extra precautions to keep their staff and customers safe during this time of social distancing. I can't wait to dine there again.
Great food, beer, and service. Nice outdoor patio seating.
First time at Hinterland Brewery. We went for lunch because I've heard its on the higher end for price in the Green Bay area. The atmosphere was great. Comfortable seating and the tables are not packed in. We sat there for about 2.5 hours visiting and having lunch with friends. It was not too busy, otherwise we would have given up the table.
I had the fish tacos. My friend had the fennel salad. My husband had the muffaletta sandwich and my friend's husband had the walleye po' boy. The remoulade is REALLY good. I would recommend. Still a little pricey. But worth it if you are having a date or rare get to gether.
While the food was good, we did not feel it was worth the cost. We've had AMAZING meals elsewhere that we would go back for over and over for the price we paid at Hinterland . Beautiful plating, but flavor did not deliver the same level of creativity.
Out waitress was very friendly and was willing to help with figuring out what to get on the menu. They seem to change the menu which adds some good items.
Dinner after a long day of hockey tournament. It was just what we all needed! The food and drinks were amazing! Wonderful service and the fire was an added bonus!! Can’t wait to return!
Disappointed with the overall experience. Weren’t able to order any dinner entrees, so we opted for a pizza and cheese curds. No flavor to the pizza, barely warm, and cheese curds were nothing special. For $12 we expected something good with the curds, over priced and just standard greasy bar curds.
Services didn’t really exist. Slow and only there to bring out the food.
We’ll stick with going next door to the Tavern In The Sky.
Our first time at Hinterland and hopefully not our last!
Used my credit card to pay 200.00 tab and they charged me a 8.00 service fee. Will never go back.
Upon my arrival I mentioned that I had made reservations on OT, the hostess laughed and said “did you really think you needed to”?
My friend ordered the walleye po boy with the chips.she loved it, no complaints. I ordered the spicy chicken sandwich & upgraded to garlic fries. The fries were plentiful and very tasty. The breading/coating on the chicken sandwich was horrible. Tasted like the chicken was dredged in paprika. I was able to peel it off, but could still taste the heavy seasoning. The bun it was on was very good.
Our server was not particularly attentive. Overall a unimpressive experience!
Food is always exceptional - service started out strong and fell off. We would have had several more drinks as we walked over from the hotel next store, but alas no service. We will be back so hopefully service will get some redemption.
Great atmosphere! Appreciated waitress apologizing and deducting a dessert we had ordered, that was delayed due to kitchen being backed up.
Would like to see other menu options....geared more towards a brewery/sports bar.....Chicken sandwich, Pulled Pork, Burgers, etc....
Will definitely be back!!
Food and service was good. Kind of expensive. 3% service charge for credit card is ridiculous.
We went to Green Bay for the Packer's game and went to Hinterland Brewery. We had the grilled shrimp and pork belly appetizer and the Gochujang BBQ Duck wings as appetizers, both were savory and amazingly delicious. The wine list and the beers provided great choices. It was so good, we went both days in Green Bay!
Made a reservation for nine people. Loved the ambiance. Sat by the oversized fireplace.great service and great eats!
We feel this is a very lively space and perfect location for Hinterland Brewery. The staff that we met were all very smiley and friendly and the atmosphere and vibe is cool. It is visually pleasing, the beer is excellent! The fried brussel sprouts are unusual and fantastic. Our main dishes of pork and scallops were very good. The pasta in the scallops could have been less cooked. I feel there is more opportunity to improve the main dishes. I look forward to that.
Hinterland has lost its identity as a high dining brewery and is waffling between wanting to be a sports bar taproom and its old self resulting in overpriced food in an atmosphere that is cold (literally and figuratively). For a restaurant that does as much business as Hinterland charging a 3% credit card surcharge feels cheap. Dining out, especially for a place charging $24 for the fish fry special should be about the experience for diners.
Had a group of 10 for New Years Eve Dinner. It was very busy so we were seated in the Barrel Room which didn’t have any special ambiance but we were there as a group so didn’t affect anything. Waitress did a great job with the larger group and no problem keeping items and checks in order. Food was terrific as were the beer and specialty drinks!
After making reservations, they offered us a table almost on the hallway. After requested another spot, moved us to the back room.
Would really like to go back during the spring/summer to sit out in the patio and have a drink. Great location and ambiance
The barrel room definitely lacked the ambiance of the main dining hall. It was Christmas dinner with my dad and I was disappointed to be seated back there even with reservations.
The food was amazing and our waitress was super helpful with her recommendations.
Love everything about Hinterland except the prices. Food is Good, Beer is Good and will definitely go back. I'm sure it's because it's located in the Titletown District, but the menu is overpriced.
Food was okay!
$12 for small portion of cheese curds. $14 for a burger and chips. Likely a one and done. Nothing impressive.
Expensive... overpriced. $18 for a burger/$20 for small sausage pizza. Should and could be so much more . I understand we pay for the location within Titletown, but really??? Location... great. Staff... great. Ambience... great. Food... average.
