First time at Hinterland Brewery. We went for lunch because I've heard its on the higher end for price in the Green Bay area. The atmosphere was great. Comfortable seating and the tables are not packed in. We sat there for about 2.5 hours visiting and having lunch with friends. It was not too busy, otherwise we would have given up the table.
I had the fish tacos. My friend had the fennel salad. My husband had the muffaletta sandwich and my friend's husband had the walleye po' boy. The remoulade is REALLY good. I would recommend. Still a little pricey. But worth it if you are having a date or rare get to gether.
While the food was good, we did not feel it was worth the cost. We've had AMAZING meals elsewhere that we would go back for over and over for the price we paid at Hinterland . Beautiful plating, but flavor did not deliver the same level of creativity.
Out waitress was very friendly and was willing to help with figuring out what to get on the menu. They seem to change the menu which adds some good items.
Dinner after a long day of hockey tournament. It was just what we all needed! The food and drinks were amazing! Wonderful service and the fire was an added bonus!! Can’t wait to return!
Disappointed with the overall experience. Weren’t able to order any dinner entrees, so we opted for a pizza and cheese curds. No flavor to the pizza, barely warm, and cheese curds were nothing special. For $12 we expected something good with the curds, over priced and just standard greasy bar curds.
Services didn’t really exist. Slow and only there to bring out the food.
We’ll stick with going next door to the Tavern In The Sky.
Our first time at Hinterland and hopefully not our last!
Used my credit card to pay 200.00 tab and they charged me a 8.00 service fee. Will never go back.
Upon my arrival I mentioned that I had made reservations on OT, the hostess laughed and said “did you really think you needed to”?
My friend ordered the walleye po boy with the chips.she loved it, no complaints. I ordered the spicy chicken sandwich & upgraded to garlic fries. The fries were plentiful and very tasty. The breading/coating on the chicken sandwich was horrible. Tasted like the chicken was dredged in paprika. I was able to peel it off, but could still taste the heavy seasoning. The bun it was on was very good.
Our server was not particularly attentive. Overall a unimpressive experience!
Food is always exceptional - service started out strong and fell off. We would have had several more drinks as we walked over from the hotel next store, but alas no service. We will be back so hopefully service will get some redemption.
Great atmosphere! Appreciated waitress apologizing and deducting a dessert we had ordered, that was delayed due to kitchen being backed up.
Would like to see other menu options....geared more towards a brewery/sports bar.....Chicken sandwich, Pulled Pork, Burgers, etc....
Will definitely be back!!
Food and service was good. Kind of expensive. 3% service charge for credit card is ridiculous.
We went to Green Bay for the Packer's game and went to Hinterland Brewery. We had the grilled shrimp and pork belly appetizer and the Gochujang BBQ Duck wings as appetizers, both were savory and amazingly delicious. The wine list and the beers provided great choices. It was so good, we went both days in Green Bay!
Made a reservation for nine people. Loved the ambiance. Sat by the oversized fireplace.great service and great eats!
We feel this is a very lively space and perfect location for Hinterland Brewery. The staff that we met were all very smiley and friendly and the atmosphere and vibe is cool. It is visually pleasing, the beer is excellent! The fried brussel sprouts are unusual and fantastic. Our main dishes of pork and scallops were very good. The pasta in the scallops could have been less cooked. I feel there is more opportunity to improve the main dishes. I look forward to that.
Hinterland has lost its identity as a high dining brewery and is waffling between wanting to be a sports bar taproom and its old self resulting in overpriced food in an atmosphere that is cold (literally and figuratively). For a restaurant that does as much business as Hinterland charging a 3% credit card surcharge feels cheap. Dining out, especially for a place charging $24 for the fish fry special should be about the experience for diners.
Had a group of 10 for New Years Eve Dinner. It was very busy so we were seated in the Barrel Room which didn’t have any special ambiance but we were there as a group so didn’t affect anything. Waitress did a great job with the larger group and no problem keeping items and checks in order. Food was terrific as were the beer and specialty drinks!
After making reservations, they offered us a table almost on the hallway. After requested another spot, moved us to the back room.
Would really like to go back during the spring/summer to sit out in the patio and have a drink. Great location and ambiance
The barrel room definitely lacked the ambiance of the main dining hall. It was Christmas dinner with my dad and I was disappointed to be seated back there even with reservations.
The food was amazing and our waitress was super helpful with her recommendations.
Love everything about Hinterland except the prices. Food is Good, Beer is Good and will definitely go back. I'm sure it's because it's located in the Titletown District, but the menu is overpriced.
Food was okay!
$12 for small portion of cheese curds. $14 for a burger and chips. Likely a one and done. Nothing impressive.
Expensive... overpriced. $18 for a burger/$20 for small sausage pizza. Should and could be so much more . I understand we pay for the location within Titletown, but really??? Location... great. Staff... great. Ambience... great. Food... average.
Good food and service. Nice ambience with the fireplace.
Food is always great, friendly service with a comfortable atmosphere.
Just be aware that the meals are pricey - but the food was very good!
Great food, great location service was spotty
Excellent beer selection, somewhat expensive for what I assumed was a brewpub, but had a great meal
I had the mushroom pizza. It was fantastic!! Would definitely order that again.
First time in Green Bay and the first place we stopped at. Great atmosphere, beer and food were delicious. Already planning on coming back after the Packers game on Sunday!
Great food and an even greater beer selection! Service was friendly and timely.
Very overpriced. Lots of others seated before us though we had a reservation. Uninteresting menu
Went out for my birthday. Was seated and waited over 10 minutes for a server. Tables around us were being served and we were ignored. The food was pricey and very limited choices. We finally got service by a gal who acted like we were an afterthought. Waited 40 minutes for our food after ordering, and that only came after we flagged down another server to ask if he could find our server, as she never came back. The portion was very small when the food finally came. It took so long, we couldn’t have dessert for my birthday (the occasion was never acknowledged by the server even though we had specified during the reservation). We were nearly late for the concert we were attending. Overall, a very disappointing experience.
Thank you for your input regarding your visit. We apologize for ways your experience did not meet expectations including the extended wait. The miss on your birthday is unacceptable as well. We will be coaching our team and avoid any future occurrence. Please be assured your experience is not our intended service. We hope you will take us up on our offer to give us another chance to deliver the experience that you deserve.
Great food & service. Decor is minimalistic and curious. But sitting in the shadows of Lambeau Field and seeing it through floor to ceiling windows really is all you need!
I enjoyed my experience at Hinterland Brewery. I was happy that, though loud, there was enough room between the tables that we didn't feel crowded. Service was excellent. My biggest disappointment was that the meal I had planned which would have been duck wings and a cheese platter to share wasn't possible because the duck wings weren't on the menu. I got a salad and added shrimp. It was delicious but a little pricey at around $23.00 without a bread basket or anything with the salad.
Great service and food - but have to say the hot toddy hit the spot last night
We had great beer and food! It was a fun evening out.
After my last rather disappointing experience I decided to give this place a one more chance. This time Hinterland delivered. The service was swift and professional, the food was delicious. So, thank you Hinterland for the evening, until next time.
Thank you for giving us another opportunity to deliver the experience we strive to provide. We are happy to hear that you enjoyed your return and look forward to seeing you again.
You had no korbel brandy to make old fashions which was surprising especially on a Friday night. Then we 4 ate Fish fry and walleye. The meals were just warm, yet my perch was over cooked dark. My friend had the walleye which was also just warm but undercooked. Which made the walleye soggy he only ate part of it. We were with another couple who got us a 100 dollar gift card so we did not want to say anything negative but they two felt theirs was not that warm and the burger was ok. We spent well overs 140.00 with one of the worst meals in along time for that price just ordering fish. I still feel like contacytge manager just because of the poor quality and high price for what we got. We will never come back or recommend this place to anyone. Sorry but you asked!
Made a reservation hoping to get a good table. We were seated right next to the door outside of the dining room. Cold and windy any time the door was opened. When asked if we could switch tables it seemed we were bothering the hostess. For the cost of dinner very disappointing.
