Definitely not the 3 course meal. Should have been 3 choices per category, at least. 4 courses would also have been a better value. Was not impressed. We much preferred the menu with a larger selection in the past.

The steaks lacked flavor, but the rest of everything else was outstanding! I seen some yummy hamburgers, some southwest plates go by. I’m thinking of coming back soon to try so of those plates. My hubby especially loves the beer, so he had plenty to choose from, even took home a growler❤️

Went out for Valentines day hoping for an intimate relaxing meal. It was fine but felt like an assembly line. Would have been nice if the server put in a little effort but nothing to complain about.

Loved Hinterland in the old downtown location, not so much anymore. The food quality was way way under the price point. Small portions don't equate to quality. The food pairings were muddied rather than complimentary and attempt at foodie gormet was incomplete and cooked without passion by line order cold rather than a chef. The meal missed on all aspects. Great beer, but I will not go back for a meal.

Amazing food. Not a big fan of the community bench seating. I was closer to the guy next to me than my wife. Drinks were good. Food was amazing.

My wife and I really enjoyed the two types of ramen. The squid was cooked perfectly. Your servers need to be more welcoming and enthusiastic. We tipped our waiter very generously so I hope that improves his attitude, The apps and dessert portions could be bigger but overall a good experience. Wine by the glass prices were outrageous. We'll be back.

First invite to the test kitchen advertised 50% off menu price, amazing experience! This invite was full menu price, when I inquired about the price was told the first test kitchen was 50% off, not this one. Food was great, test kitchen situation misleading. Invited friends that were excited about trying Hinterland at affordable price, I paid half their bill. Not a great experience for either of us

What a treat for date night! We loved the test kitchen's tour of Italy menu. The food was DELICIOUS! Service was fast and attentive. The decor is lovely and the place is so clean!! Can't wait to come back.

Our waitress was very friendly and perfectly attentive. The ambience was simple and was fitting for a romantic evening. Our reservation was at 7:00 and I was surprised that the dining area wasn’t more full. I highly suggest trying this out. Oh yeah, and the food was delicious!

So we went for round 2 to go back and try more of the menu that we didnt get the first - you can only eat so much. This time we brought 3 of our kids - as they are about as honest as it gets when saying if something is good or not. First off was the risotto cacio e pepe - good lord this was a tasty dish. Creamy and just enough peppercorn to make it exciting. Heavy and full of flavor. We did re-order the pizzetta again to let the kids try, as this was one of our favorites the first time around, and they loved the dish just as much as we did. Next up was the chicken (replaced the quail, I am assuming they were out) - this was a great follow up to the risotto. The chicken was cooked perfectly and the trimmings brought the whole dish together. Very homey and comforting - something you would want for a family dish. Next was the steak. The sauce and the wagyu were amazing. You coudnt have expected better flavor. The steak was cooked well - though surprising it wasnt easier to cut through for being wagyu beef.
For the main dishes - I dont necessarily feel that the cost of the chicken or steak were proportionate. I think for the value of what I was eating and having, both dishes were about 10-15% to high on the cost. I just feel that I could go get a better chicken or steak dish for less at other places. I understand the cut of meat is what drives some of the value on the steak dish - but it just didnt feel like an almost $60 dish.
We finished dinner with the chocolate budino again, because lets face it, this is a fantastic dish. They did increase the price a little bit - but they also increased the portion size, so I was not disapointed in the $4 increase.

I took my mom to the opening weekend of the High Gravity Test Kitchen. The food and service were both outstanding. The menu had many different options, including a meat, seafood, and poultry option. This was my mom's first time upstairs, and she could not stop talking about how much she loved it. We will be back for sure, I can not wait to see what else they have up their sleeves.

The food as always was very good. The beer was outstanding! Our new waitress did an excellent job. However, the kitchen lost our main course order and and it took nearly 1 1/2 hours to get our main course. Fortunately I was with my Beautiful, vivacious wife and we had a wonderful conversation while we waited.

We tried several of the dishes from the menu. The pizzetta was a great starter. The squash puree, goat cheese and duck went well together. Next was the scallops and beluga lentils in onion broth ... umm, tried to drink the bowl. We continued with the octopus which was a little too smoked. The texture was great and well cooked but the smoke flavor left a bitter after taste and there wasnt enough citrus to cut through it.
After that we had two desserts ... the chocolate budino was by far the highlight of the night ... so good. The seared foie gras was "ok" ... rich and heavy but again smoke overpowered the flavor of the pears and vanilla. Not bad but not great either.
Service was slow, but only because they were down a chef, so understandable and was still worth waiting for.

Even though my reservation specified counter seating I was asked if I wanted counter or table seating. I selected where at the counter I sat so as to not intrude on couples or right handed diners I choose an end chair. While I did not see all of the kitchens executions, my seat was entertaining enough to watch dishes coming and going from the kitchen. My server was a delight and very knowledgeable about the restaurant, history of staff and menu at hand. She allowed me to pace my orders so that I ended up eating/drinking more than I expected...and it was good without being super filling!! Savory Doughnuts, Cacio e Pepe, wood fired grilled quail🍴Well done kitchen staff and servers of Hinterland! As a singleton diner, I was never made to feel like I was any less important than a table of two. Next time the Foie Gras...!!

What a great experience! The staff was wonderful and attentive. The chef was interactive and so educational. We enjoyed predinner drinks, ordered almost everything on the menu, and brought home some leftovers. The fresh made pasta was delicious and a favorite along with the best scallops I have ever eaten. The meringue dessert was the most interesting journey of flavors making us grin from ear to ear! We are excited to go back! Keep up the superior work Higher Gravity crew!

We had a waiter that was admittedly in experienced and it showed. Ambiance was nice but I ordered a lamb meal that came with two tiny pieces, and I mean tiny pieces. Flavor was very good but still. $3 extra per person for bread was a bit over the top.

We had a fantastic time. At the last minute we had an extra person. The hostess had no problem accommodating 7 people vs 6. The bar was very busy (the night before the first Packers home game), but the noise level was very reasonable at the table. Service was great and the food came out fairly quickly. As always the food was spectacular. Hinterland is one of my all-time favorite restaurants. Kelly is an amazing chef and very creative. My Halibut was a good size portion and cooked perfectly. Other people at the table also had the Porterhouse steak and Lamb. Their meals were also great.

Overall it was a great experience and I am sure that they will do very well in their new location.

I am looking forward to having dinner at the ground floor Beer Hall. It is a fun atmosphere and a fantastic location across the street from Lambeau Field.

Our experience at High Gravity was wonderful. The Ledgeview Garden salad was probably one of the best salads I've ever had. Terrific, knowledgeable service. We would definitely recommend for a special occasion or special date night.

I realize this is a new location and they are working out the bugs, but we had a 7:30pm reservation and they were already out of 3 items on the limited daily menu. I do not agree with charging $3 a person for bread service, we paid for it and what we received was grilled slices of Italian bread, not homemade bread that you would expect a fee for. I've never had to pay extra for bread in ANY restaurant before, fine dining or other; this really turned me off, considering what we paid for the entrees.
