Honey Salt - Parq Vancouver
Food is great, farmhouse style restaurant with a great staff. Very friendly.
WENT FOR THE AFTERNOON TEA SERVICE.
IT WAS VERY BASIC. NOTHING GREAT ABOUT IT.
WOULD NOT RECOMMEND COMING HERE JUST FOR TEA.
I HEAR THEY DO OTHER THINGS VERY WELL.
The portions are too small and the menu doesn't offer many options for vegetariarns.
Excellent Service and Ambiance! Great for a girls' night out
The food was fantastic (minus one appetizer). The ambiance was lovely. It was Valentines Day and it was very busy. The waiter was great. The food took forever. The apples came out 40 m in n after ordering. The food took equally as long from the moment they took the appetizer plates away. Luckily the food was worth the wait!
A bit overpriced for the portion size, for example 5 garlic shrimp for $17... and 6 scallops with a few pieces of cauliflower for $36. Beautiful restaurant and great service but you’ll probably leave with a large bill and still be hungry.
Food was great! Server did an exceptional job. I will come back here again.
Food was good, poor and slow service.
Very good food and wonderful atmosphere.
Every time I’ve come here for brunch, the service has been very hit or miss. It wasn’t very busy in the restaurant, and it was evident that our table wasn’t a priority. The server spilled water on one of the guests as they were pouring water, they forgot to ring in a smoothie that was ordered (we got this very late into the meal), and there was no meaningful check in. It was disappointing to learn that their fried chicken and waffles wasn’t being offered anymore. Overall, for a birthday brunch this was very disappointing.
Really really disappointed.
I went to Honey Salt dine out twice - first and second week. I liked their food the first week so I decided to bring friends back, unfortunately, they decreased the portion and service was not as great. I had a better experience the first time.
Excellent food and service. One of the few restaurants that the music/noise didn't hamper our conversation. Thank you
Menu was excellent and the food and service was outstanding
Nice space, beautiful and light. Great service. Food execution was on point, as the timing of courses. I only wished for more inventive dishes.
We were staying at the hotel. Food was lovely and the service outstanding. We were there for breakfast on Jan 29 & Jan 30 (with guests) and stayed for a meeting afterwards. On Jan 29 we also lunched there with guests. Kudos to Lindsay. She kindly refreshed our table between meetings. She was professional in her service and personality - an excellent ambassador for your brand. Our experience with her, the ambiance, and the food will make us want to return to the restaurant and hotel. We will add Parq Vancouver and Honey Salt to our recommended list for our colleagues.
Way too noisy. The food was fine, and the staff were great.
We went for the $25 dine-out menu and were very surprised that the quantity of the poke bowl (main dish) was as small as the salad served as first course (if not smaller). Dessert was good.
Overall, we were a bit disappointed, was not as tasty as we expected and the dine-out menu was not worth the value.
I liked the atmosphere but I found we sat too close to other in the booth. Other than that I will definitely be going back for more!
We had brunch at Honey Salt on Sunday morning at 10:30ish . We were able to be seated without a reservation in a nice window table for two. We were promptly greeted by a lovely cheerful server named Bridie, who provided great service throughout.
The decor is very "farm-to-table" and inviting. The coffee was delicious and was refilled often. We shared a pain au chocolat, which was baked in-house and served warm...it was to die for. For our entrees, we both ordered the Eggs Benedict. They do something special to their hollandaise sauce so it is very smooth and delicious, and the bennies were served with a large portion of breakfast potatoes and a quarter grilled tomato. NOTE - The eggs are served soft-poached, which to my knowledge should have firm whites but runny yolks, which is just perfect. Ours came out with the whites still pretty gelatinous and runny, which is why I took away one point for food. So if you don't like runny whites, you may want to ask for medium eggs. Otherwise, a great experience and we will definitely go back.
Food quality poor, with the competition in Vancouver and next to JW expected something better.
Appies were excellent! Husband loved his pork entree. I had the diver scallops, was disappointed that the roasted cauli was cold (actually cold) and the 3/5 scallops were a little sandy.
Desserts were good.
Menu is basic. And limited. We enjoyed our food. However felt rushed through our meal. Due to hostess approaching our table after the bill was paid. Advised us that our table would be needed for the next 8pm seating. Gee thanks , happy birthday to me. 220bucks later. Ur telling me to get going.
Recommended for a nice place to meet with friends for a quick lunch. Dine out Vancouver service was quick and pleasant. Food was fresh and portioned enough for lunch and for the $25 special menu. We ordered an extra dessert(banana chocolate cake) which was delicious.
We tried this restaurant for Dine Out Vancouver. Everything was very good. We will definitely be back.
Was only offered bottle water, after ordering two bottles ($8/bottle), our table realized the restaurant does offer tap water.
We had to request service, sat w customers 20 min before coffee. Overall slow and poor quality of service.
Brought my mom here for her birthday. They insisted they could not find my booking through OpenTable which is impossible. They finally found it but had not read the request I had made and kept asking me in front of my mom what it was. I had specifically put it through OpenTable as it was a disability request and didn’t want to embarrass my guest. It was for a birthday and neither the hostess or waiter asked whose birthday it was. Been to this restaurant many times but this was by far the most disappointing.
First time to Honey Salt. Went there for dine out with friends, landed on a day where happy hour drinks was available. Services was great and pleasant. Beautiful restaurant, would come again to try other selections.
First stop during Vancouver dine-out. The coconut curry King salmon was delicious! Dessert is a bit on the sweeter side and traditional
Food was generally good, well plated, nice balance of flavours. Dine out main dish (chicken breast), the risotto was slightly too salty (would have given it 8/10) but if they added slightly less salt, would have given 10/10...chicken was tender and well done. Dessert was brookie, was sweet but rich (very good), so rich we couldn't finish.
Hands down, amazing! Food was phenomenal and value for money is wild.
Great service and food!
I came here for my birthday with a group of 6 friends and it was excellent! It wasnt super busy so guests were spread out around the restaurant and not sitting too close to each other which was nice. The drinks were pretty pricey so it wasnt worth it but the squash risotto is to die for! Super filling so I would suggest to start off with that and get something else later on. Our waters were constantly being refilled which was great and we were hardly bothered throughout the evening, they even brought me a birthday dessert at the end! Would definitely recommend this place to a friend and will come back in the future for sure.
Honey and Salt is great for work lunches. It is usually quiet and the tables are far enough apart for privacy. Great food and service !
I realized that we were sitting directly under a speaker. The music was bad and way too loud.
Food was great, service was a bit slow
Loved the food. Garlic prawns were incredible. Lots of children in the restaurant unfortunately but other than that...
I was there for their pre-set New Year's Eve menu so I'm not sure how indicative this is of their regular menu, but the food was delicious and the service was great.
Great service, food, atmosphere!
