Hotel Ravesis

We ordered the cheese platter and the kingfish crude.

The cheese was so hard it ended up on the floor and the kingfish was so tasteless I was munching on capers .

The waitress discounted us on the $30 cheese platter.

The service was very poor. The waitresses weren’t knowledgeable about the alcohol the bar had, they needed 3 people to get up the bill and took so long to get everything out when it wasn’t too busy.

Ruined our friends hens. They said they didn’t do set menus but we have an email from their events coordinator with details.
They’re just rude and managers of duty were awful and not helpful.
Don’t come here if you want to have something planned and nice

We were looking forward to a Christmas girls night on the last weekend before Christmas but unfortunately the atmosphere in ravesis was quite disappointing with no Christmas songs or upbeat music for even a Friday night. Food was great as always, service was good and The team were helpful in finding us a new table when our time ran out - however was clear a lot of people were leaving and going elsewhere unfortunately.

I am just writing this review in regards to the experience we received at your restaurant on Tuesday night. We had booked a table of 7 for our work xmas dinner and the service we received was terrible.
We had to keep on asking the staff to take our orders. Secondly they had brought our entrees and mains all out at once which left us with extremely limited space to eat.
Once we had finished our meals - it took them over 30 minutes to clear our table/ empty glasses.
We have all eaten at hotel ravesis in the past and loved it - so we we're excited to go back for dinner as a group but we were very dissapointed at the end of the night.

Food portions small for the price, lovely view, quite loud for a two person dinner.

We were running late due to traffic on the way into Ravesis which we knew would shorten our stay during our reservation. However, the ladies working constantly hovered with their iPads, watched as we ate which was uninviting.
The gentlemen who served us was so eager to push through the initial drink and food order and once it was ready this was all delivered to the table and we were not offered another drink. I can understand we were late, but we still have 1.5hrs remaining.. and were well aware of what time we needed to leave but the service was appalling.

Terrible service and food. A shame because the location is fabulous

Considering each table booking is only for 2 hours, our first drinks took about 40 minutes to arrive and we had to ask 3 times to make sure we hadn't just been forgotten about. After this, the service was a lot quicker but when there is already a time limit, it just made the whole experience feel quite rushed.

Awesome service. Incredible food. Will definitely be going back regularly.

Food is not up to scratch. The views are great and can make up for it. Just buy drinks.

Lovely experience, music could be better. Inconsistent...loud, then soft and choice of music was not that good.

Had a request to sit upstairs and was given the best table in the house. Perfect for a first date and we both really enjoyed our time

Food and drink were amazing as always. One of my favourite places for a night out in Bondi, but you definitely need to book in advance or the little is a little long.

The Manager at the front (guy holding ipad) was really awesome, he explained how we could put our names down to get a table upstairs and that they'd send a text to notify us. Love this system! It's great to be able to wait comfortably until the move upstairs. We were able to enjoy the juke box which was fun. The downstairs host was great good (young guy, red hair) All the bar staff and floor staff are really friendly, nice and helpful.

Attentive staff. Clean and nice interior. GREAT food!

We had a family get together for my daughters Yr 12 graduation. Such a great night with great food and staff!!

Simply delicious. The garlic prawns were to die for. We had a table upstairs on the balcony overlooking the beach and it was a wonderful way to end the weekend. Every dish we had was well executed and tasty.
