On top form. Ham, croquettes and pork were as good as ever, the octopus dish was outstanding.
The food for the price was very over priced.
It wasn’t explained in the menu properly we were very disappointed.
The octopus came with pork fat which we found very strange as it wasn’t stated.
Before we arrived we were not made aware that 2 of the main dishes were not available. The steak and meatballs dish’s. We asked questions but didn’t get a confirmed answer. Over all the food was edible but no where near worth the £99 we paid for 3 starters olives and bread 6 tapas and 4 drinks. If the food was really tasty and different the value would have been worth it but the food was very average. We were very disappointed.
It was a very special occasion so we didn’t complain as it would have ruined the night.
Fantastic customer service.
Thought the portions were small hence value for money marked as moderate.
Great experience, service great, spacious, very pleasant experience. Highly recommended
Food was ok but not amazing. When the price is at a premium you expect premium food. Underwhelmed
The food was amazing. The service was quick and very friendly
Amazing food especially the gambas and croquettas will definitely come back again
Really lovely setting, great service and wonderful food.
Staff very nice and food great
overall a great evening
Had a brilliant lunch at Iberica to celebrate my partner's birthday. Good, attentive staff, delicious food and drink and a chilled atmosphere made it. Would recommend
Whilst the service was very good, the place lovely and the food really tasty, the food portions were small and expensive for the amount that you got.
Puddings were the best as reasonably priced and decent sizes.
I always pay a tip but generally 10% and so for 12.5% to be added to the, already expensive, bill, I feel is a bit much.
We paid it and had a nice evening but won’t be rushing back.
Bit more expensive than other tapas restaurants in Leeds but well worth it
Disappointed by the dumplings being undercooked - when we asked the waitress we were told they weren’t supposed to be hot as they’re cooked in the oven but the problem was they weren’t cooked!
We also had to de-vein our prawns ourselves - I would expect to have to do this in a restaurant.
1st time at Iberica, great selection of food and drink. Food was very rich and spot, prefect! Staff were very friendly and offered reccomendations. Attentive.
One of the best restaurants in Leeds that I have been to. Throughly enjoyed my evening with the person I went to dinner with. The waiters never left us waiting for a long time and the service was excellent. The food was delicious and the overall price was fair.
We were a party of four and seated in a side booth which gave us enough privacy. The service was attentive and the tapas dishes arrived in quick succession and were all piping hot. The food was exceptional. The wine was better than hoped for. We were not rushed and thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience. We will definitely be back.
Also it's a real treat to find somewhere that sells Mahou Lager on draft.
Good morning Jack, I am so glad you enjoyed your dining experience with us, and both the service and food surpassed expectations. We look forward to welcoming you back in the future, and will make sure that the mahou is kept cold and waiting for you. Many thanks, Greg Welburn, General manager
Very nice indeed. Love the building and decor. Nice and warm too.
Beautiful setting, fantastic food, fair prices. Will come again!
Food should have been far better. Most dishes were ever lacklustre lacking texture or flavour. The best dish was the aubergine one. Impactful flavour, complimenting textures.
Loved the whole ambience of the place and the service but the only thing I could fault was the price and portion size of the paella. It was advised as being a paella for two however there was a insufficient portion for two and it seemed very expensive for the size .
One of the most amazing places in Yorkshire, staff súper friendly, excellent food, decoration amazing
Poor value for money vs food quality, paella was burnt and chicken addition a token gesture, atmosphere lacking given size of room, management contradictory
Really lovely food. Service was excellent too. Their photos make the restaurant look a bit bright but we went at 6.15 on valentines and the ambience was perfect.
I’ve been here several times now , the venue is lovely the food delicious wine gorgeous and the service excellent in a relaxed friendly manner
Will definitely be going again
Great venue, excellent location, nice atmosphere. The jewel of the tapas is the ham croquetas are very tasty and one of the best ones I ever had outside of Spain. Paella was in my opinion with too much tomato flavour and with a lack of vegetable ingredients, hardly artichoke and a few green bean mangetout which should been used regular green bean and not enough chicken pieces. Overall is an excellent restaurant to enjoy a night out!
I love this place, for the beautiful building, the friendly service and the delicious food. It never disappoints.
The food came out cold and bland and extremely over priced for the quality of food that came. We got potatoe bravas 15 minutes before anything else. Service was shocking. The only hope you have is the manager on Saturday night seemed the only polite man that had any concerns for our meal. Will I visit again. Most certainly not
Great food. Better wine. The white Rioja is superb.
Went for lunch with my husband, I'm Spanish and had visited the restaurant before but not for a long time. The starters were lovely, especially the croquetas, but the steak we ordered was extremely disappointing, really fatty and poorly cooked. The dessert was very average, the churros were tiny and dry.
The service was ok but to say we were the only people in the restaurant they didn't spend any time going over the dishes with us . Two waitresses spent their time folding napkins at the bar. The place also looked a bit run down and like it could do with a bit of redecorating. The bill came to £90 for both of us which felt overpriced for the quality of the experience.
Only because I have been before and I know that the food is lovely have I said I would recommend this restaurant. I booked a table through the website for 10.30pm only to be told I can’t have anything but your cold tapas, mainly your salads, when I arrived. It was extremely embarrassing for me after raving about your Paella to a friend of mine who’d visited from London that weekend. Such a shame because I don’t think she’d consider booking a table at one of your London venues after that. If you’re allowed to book a table at 10.30 through to 11pm you should offer the whole menu and not wait until we turn up to inform us your chefs have gone home and that you’d never serve paella at that time anyway as it takes 45 mins!! As a result of your error we had to traipse around several restaurants to find something to eat. Extremely disappointed in your service and definitely not a place to eat post theatre!!
Overall really really impressed. The service was absolutely fantastic, and every member of staff was helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. Great atmosphere and really good food. I do, however, think it is slightly overpriced and has priced itself a little out of the Leeds market, given that restaurants in London are of a similar price.
A little expensive
Was amazing food experience however it is pricey without 50% off.
The restaurant is a lovely place to eat, the staff are friendly and helpful. The tapas include unusual and less tried items. Prices are expensive and I wish they did a mid week offer and/or a set menu sometimes so that I could visit more
Lovely evening here always enjoy the food, octopus dish had changed since our last visit and was chopped into pieces with pork belly which was disappointing. Service however was exceptional
The restaurant is in a wonderful Listed building by the architect of the Tiled Hall just over the road. The ceiling decoration looks vg, but needs to be seen - spotlights needed.
The menu needs to give more choice.
Some of the dishes just don't work: eg. the special of fried aubergine was plentiful, but tasteless and greasy. Others were better, but not outstanding and at these prices they need to be very good.
Wine also v. expensive - a small glass 125ml of the cheapest red wine was £8.50!
A restaurant that you want to recommend, but needs to improve its menu and reduce prices.
Lovely venue for a lazy lunch. Took advantage of the 50% off January offer, would otherwise have been rather expensive. Food great but small portions for the price
Whilst the food was tasty enough, I feel like it isn't reflected in the price you pay.
ran out of a couple of the Tapas options which isn't a good experience
first class restaurant and setting
Tapas menu has been limited from previous visits
