Iconic by Chesterfield

Well I’m not sure how it was, they were closed when we got there. Took the reservation but weren’t open. Sure would have been helpful to know that ahead of time...

Restaurant was closed. We struggled getting same day reservations elsewhere. If manager called, must have been on a personal phone because I had no calls from the restaurant and my reservation was not cancelled on the app.

Second time we made an open table reso and it was CLOSED.🤔

Good meal, friendly staff

Dinner was delicious and the service was excellent. Our waitress was very attentive, pleasant and kind. We especially appreciated the outmost care given to social distancing which made our experience very comfortable.

Outstanding food and atmosphere! The server and manager went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and as if we were the only table.

Food was decent, but not great. For the price, I was expecting it to be fantastic. The atmosphere was very cool, but the pricy drink special ($14), underwhelming crab and (mostly) rice balls, and lukewarm lobster ravioli were disappointing. If you’re looking to spend good money for good food, look elsewhere.

Terrific time! Kind friendly service, outstanding food! Combine those with a very beautiful building and decor and you have a unique experience which one cannot duplicate anywhere near by. The historic and beautiful hotel is worth seeing just by itself!

Our friend saw that perogie were featured with one of the entrees and she asked for a special preparation of that dish. The chef gladly accommodated her request and went above and beyond making us all very happy!

This place is the gem of Utica, the Mohawk Valley and All of central New York.

I had initially booked a table early in the morning, celebrating my wife’s birthday. I had checked the birthday box and put us down as being a party of 2, as typically our 8 month old eats off of our plates and doesn’t typically take up much room. I called the restaurant and spoke with the manager and had mentioned bringing our 8 month old who could stay in her car seat or sit in a high chair. We arrived for our 5:30 reservation and were greeted with a smile and brought promptly to our table.

Sitting on the table was a card from the staff, thanking us for dining with them and on the other side it said happy birthday. Our server was fantastic and very attentive to us. Drinks never went without a refill. Speaking of drinks- the apple cinnamon mule was TO DIE FOR!

I ordered a bowl of French onion soup and the filet with glazed carrots and loaded fries. My wife had ordered the salmon with a side salad, and we decided to order a meal for the baby. She had Mac and cheese.

The staff was frequently checking in on us and making friendly conversation about the baby. The manager had stopped several times to inquire about our experience. We told her that everything was lovely and we would definitely be back. She had asked if we had been before and we shared that we used to meet there prior to being “Iconic” and that we also had taken some pictures after our wedding reception upstairs.

Folks, do NOT sleep on this one. This is hands down the best meal my wife and I have had in a long time. We will definitely be back and hope that you all find this review to be helpful and patronize this awesome restaurant.

Started at the bar with Eileen, who was super friendly and fun! Had dinner served by Devon, and we were very happy with her service as well! The food was cooked perfectly, and we devoured everything!

This restaurant is amazing and I wish more people knew about it! They completely redid the decor, and it's beautiful! We have been three times and each time our food was outstanding! They are also very accommodating in regards to dietary restrictions/allergies, which I really appreciated. If you haven't been you should definitely give it a try!

Truly a 5 star experience from start to finish. This is easily the nicest interior of any restaurant in the city. Classy,elegant,sophisticated. The service was impeccable from start to finish. The greens were to die for,highly recommend. All 4 of our diners were expertly prepared and mouth watering delicious. The menu has many options as well. Plenty of appetizers,sandwiches,burgers,and nice selection of entree’s. Definitely worth dining here if your in the area!

Food was excellent. Sweet chili garlic wings were excellent, crispy skins, juicy meat, director sauce. Bbq burger was huge, too big for 1 and waffle fries were great. Tuscan chicken was to sure for. Creme brue lee was very good and well presented. Nose from the bar was prominent but bearable.

Phenomenal food and service at a very reasonable price! When they heard it was our anniversary they even offered us a complimentary dessert! We will definitely be going back more often!

Have been in the restaurant business pretty much since the age of 14 in the local area. The food was amazing! Best Remo sauce I’ve ever had. Hats off to the chef! Gimlet was perfect as was service. Will definitely be back

My husband and I had a wonderful meal at Iconic. Cailin, our server, was friendly and very attentive. The food was delicious and the decor is very comfortable and inviting. We will definitely be back!

We had a great time with dinner here before seeing a show at the Stanley Theatre! The drinks were good, but the food stole the show. From the calamari to the pasta, the salmon, the chicken - all amazing. Our waitress, Cailin, made the great evening even more enjoyable!

We went on Valentine's Day, fantastic decor and seating arrangements!

It was VERY BUSY, and it took a while for service to kick in. It seemed as if they were understaffed?

Anyway, the staff was very friendly, and we did not care about the wait. I could see some people getting annoyed by the wait time.

All I can say is run fast and as far away from this place as possible. The service was slow and the waitress actually seemed bothered with anything we asked. Now let’s get to the food we ordered the lobster ravioli save yourself $27.00 and buy a can chef boyardee much better. The sea bass tasted like a Burger King fish sandwich that sat under a heat lamp for a week

Great service. Food was good, but could have been hotter.

Loved their greens. My Pork Chop was cooked perfectly!! My wife and son also enjoyed their meals. My wife had the Chicken Francese and it was good but could use a little more sauce.

Of course I will always miss the original Chesterfield’s, but love that this restaurant has some of the old favorite dishes on the menu! (Bring back Chicken Salvatore lol) beautiful restaurant and ambiance!
