Ida Claire is a funky, southern influenced restaurant & bar open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The food is notched up southern but has influences from different regions. You’ll most likely see dishes you’ve heard of before but with little twists here and there.

Our sandwiches will be served on biscuits & we’ll have chicken & waffles on every menu. Brunch is obviously southern & will be a big part of what we do. The drinks are takes on classics like the Mint Julep but revved up & including a lot of house made ingredients.

    Service was bad. Waited 1.5 hours for a burger and ribs. So much. The manager was a hard worker but the server was pretty bad. Missed up everything and the wait was sooo long.

    Nice place. Very fast service. Almost too fast, but friendly. Food was decent, but not for the price. Had some bland dry fried chicken that cost way too much.

    Enjoyed another fabulous brunch at Ida Claire. The food is absolutely delicious and service is great. I ordered the chicken and waffles and my husband ordered the chicken sandwich The chicken is so moist and the waffles are light and fluffy. The coffee syrup is delicious. Highly recommend Ida Claire for brunch and really anytime.

    I was pretty disappointed that the Shrimp and Grits wasn’t a good dish. The shrimp was overcooked and the grits were dry and salty. Service was nice and so were the cocktails. Unfortunately because of this experience I will not be returning

    Took the wife for breakfast and everything was delicious. Great ambiance and the service was exceptional. Definitely will go back when we are in San Antonio again.

    Me and my had dinner last night at Ida Claire and got so disappointed on food quality. My husband had spicy chicken and I ordered Ida fried chicken. Both food items were overcooked and overburdened,toast under chicken was dry like a rock, and chicken by itself was very dry without any flavor. Not going back again.

    Making a reservation was super easy, and they had our table ready when we checked in. They accommodated our request to sit outside. Our server Kyle was friendly and attentive. The food and drinks were amazing. Overall, such a wonderful experience!

    We had a great time...the food was so delicious (southern comfort food is always yummy) & the staff were friendly, attentive & accommodating...we got there much earlier than our reservation & got sat early, too ..which was very nice. We sat outside, it was a beautiful day! Thanks

    The outside entrance and inside was decorated so cute. I enjoyed seeing all the different plates being used on the wall and as serving pieces.

    We got to the restaurant early so we went to have drinks at the bar. The bartender was not very nice or helpful in answering questions about what they offered. The food was okay but left us feeling like a brick hit our stomachs. Lots of fried options only a few vegan or vegetarian options.
