IFI Cafe Bar

As always, excellent food and service.
This is one of my favourite cafes in Dublin

We had a lovely meal before our movie, the staff was so helpful and cheerful! Food was delicious, would definitely recommend!

We ordered food off the menu and paid for it they would not serve us drinks until we finished eating our food which completely sub par the manager was extremely rude

The IFI felt like a quiet gem on what was a busy Saturday night in town. We had a lovely meal and drinks and the atmosphere was really nice with loads of distance between tables and great Jazz. Definitely would recommend for any Christmas catch ups!

While I realise the difficulties operating within Cvoid-19 restrictions, it would be great to some of the former IFI atmosphere in the café/bar. Small things like candles on the mantelpiece, having the fire on in the autumn/winter and having music on would really help. It just feels pretty sad at the moment, to be honest.

Simple menu, fairly well executed. Calamari good. Same tomato sauce turns up in a lot of dishes. Service inexperienced but very pleasant. Limited range of drinks. Wine very expensive for quality. Very reasonably priced. Grand for bite and a drink before the cinema

Excellent food and friendly, efficient staff in an interesting building.

Hard to judge in these times but booking was easy, reception was good and service was very good. Food was fine.

All food was delicious, generous portions and well priced. We enjoyed it all very much.

Excellent food at good value prices. Lively atmosphere and perfect way to end the evening was to see a film straight after dinner!

Very handy when visiting the IFI cinema. Nice atmosphere, staff friendly and efficient. I had fish and chips which were very tasty and nicely cooked, the peas were a bit cold, but I didn't mind as i also ordered the rocket and pear salad as a side. That was a bit disappointing as too much rocket and not enough pear.
My son went for a burger with cheese and there was no complaints there. The cheesecake and the coconut square were fresh and tasty. The price was approx €44 which was about average. I would definitely return and recommend IFI Café.
