Igloos at Ocean Edge Resort
Three Cheese Flatbread
Warm Chocolate Chip Cookies
Tito's Handmade Vodka, Blue Curacao, Pineapple, Coconut
The atmosphere was very cool, however not worth it for the price. The lobster roll bread was about a week old, and everything was lukewarm at best. It was the worst lobster roll I have ever had. They completely forgot our shrimp cocktail and lobster and gave us a small discount. We were supposed to receive several items they just didn’t bring out. The best item was my son’s pizza. We also enjoyed the s’mores (although we were supposed to receive two.) I would not return.
We had an amazing time. Ocean Edge is top notch!!! Our daughter had such a good time. I highly recommend going.
For starters our waitress ruined our entire experience. She kept rushing us, was not friendly. We couldn’t enjoy ourselves, barely gave us time to look over the menu. The food was way over priced and it was not good. The sliders are 25 dollars and it only comes with two. Their version of margherita flatbreads is shredded cheese and one grape tomato on top & no basil or olive oil. The idea of the igloo is cute. I wouldn’t recommend anyone going here though.
Wish I could give better rating but the service was really terrible and food is odd and not good. Be prepared to go thirsty, wait a long time for food, and hunt for someone to pay the bill. Eating in an Adirondack chair on patio side tables is tough. Don’t wear a nice shirt! Ambiance was fantastic and wish rest matched.
A manager (?) was arguing with one of the hostesses when we came in which made it awkward. Food was mediocre at best. We had ordered a few items as appetizers and the others as our meal but everything came out at once and there is really no place to put that amount of food as there were 4 adults and 2 kids. Drinks were also very weak.
Won’t be back.
The igloos were so cool and wonderful for a chilly, windy day! The way the food is served allowed for sharing among our party, though the table and chair set up was kind of difficult to eat in. The service was incredible - our server was kind and helpful. I definitely recommend this experience!
The concept is a good. Menu was confusing and not worth the price. The food options were all items off the normal menu. The lobster roll bread was stale, even after being toasted it still crumbled. The drink options weren’t great, again the normal menu is better. You should have the option to order off the menu, I get the minimum price and you would hit that without a problem.
The igloo experience at Ocean Edge was fantastic! It accommodates 6 with the cozy blanket covered Adirondack chairs, and was the perfect temperature for jeans and a sweater (40 degrees outside). The service from Brian was outstanding, with delicious food and drinks. It was the perfect girls’ night out!
Fantastic venue. A great experience. We sat at sundown watching the changing skies across Cape Cod Bay. The food was very good. I highly recommend going.
Poor service but otherwise great
We felt rushed, the hostess called due to rain and it was clear she was hoping we’d cancel. Inside of igloo was not like pictures. Lobster was fishy, and felt like we had to be worried about the time limit even with no one booked after us. Very disappointed, especially when voicing it was an anniversary celebration.
% of us celebrated our friends 70th Birthday- Our waiter was fantastic, very efficient, informative and funny. He went above and beyond to make our experience a wonderful one. The pods at Ocean Edge are clean, safe, and toasty there is even a blue tooth speaker inside! We could not hear any noise from the other pods nearby which was nice. Overall a 10!!!
The igloos were an amazing experience to have with great friends. The sevice was outstanding and we were so comfortable in our space
Such a great experience after not having eaten out in what seems like forever! The igloo was cozy and comfortable. The food was great, if pricy. Our server, Aleksander, was awesome and we just had a wonderful time.
We had a terrific time, and what a delightfully unique experience. After reading several not-so-great reviews here on OpenTable, we were concerned, but none of those issues manifested. The only thing is that the the website encouraged ordering in advance, which we did, but that meant our food arrived before we even had our butts in the chair. And, it was pretty luke warm. We asked for hot french fries, which we got, no problem. Our server later explained that it was her first night working the igloos (she is usually at the bar), and that she apologized for ordering the food too fast. So, I might not be inclined to order the food in advance if I were to go again. Also, we got reports of portion sizes that didn't match what we received. We ordered five dishes, only four showed up and it was plenty of food for the five of us. Others had indicated skimpy portions, so we actually had appetizers at home before we came and ended up taking home leftovers because the servings were more than sufficient. Prices are a little high, but that is to be expected for such an elaborate effort to create a COVID-19 safe dinning experience, so no surprise. The drinks did not offer any glasses of wine, but we saw plenty of glasses walk by. So, clearly you do not need to order a whole bottle. Also the website shows 'two drink' orders, but the in restaurant menu is different. Just need a little website maintenance, I'm thinking. The sunset was lovely, the twinkly lights were charming, we warm and we really enjoyed ourselves. It was packed and we had to get out on time, for the next customers.
Our waiter Anthony was very nice. The atmosphere was great . We enjoyed our night out . We love the ocean edge and go there a lot
Short review: Good food (they adjusted for vegetarian options), drink, location - service was iffy.

We arrived 10 min. prior to our reservation (party of 3) and checked in. The hostess brought us to the area however they were still cleaning the igloo so she told us they would bring us in when done cleaning. Great. At least 3 servers walked by us over a dozen times and never asked why we were there. Finally, 10 min after our reservation I grabbed a server and told him why we where there. He quickly and politely brought us in, told us our server's name and said she would be right over. Had to be another 10 min before she came in. We placed a drink order, which we received quickly and food wasn't too far behind. We had a copy of the menu and realized something was missing. She didn't come back for at least 25 min and when we asked about the missing item she said "didn't I bring that in?"...like we were hoarding crostinis! She never told us how to use the heat or anything else in the igloo. That said, beautiful night and we were able to catch a sunset.
Not worth it. Cute little igloo and I had fun playing with the lights and Bluetooth speaker, but $80 for room temperature “fondue” with ICE COLD “roasted” vegetables and 5 pieces of stale bread?! Are you kidding?! My hot chocolate was also cold. Alcoholic drinks were tasty but not strong. Service was pretty good, although the woman who answers the phone/was behind the podium when we arrived (same person, I think) was exceptionally nasty not only to customers but to her coworkers as well. Glad I only had to interact with her for a moment. Our waitress was very sweet at least. Overall, you better do this for the ambience and because you have money to burn. If you go for the food or value, you will be very disappointed!
The waiter was efficient but the menu and food choices were expensive for what you get. Everything was shareable.
This was so much fun! And, the food was really good!
Amazing ambiance and service!
It’s all about the experience. Food was pretty bad. Chef should be ashamed:( Service and ambiance was amazing. It should not be so expensive, and seemed like they could of used more help.
We had an early dinner at Ocean Edge in the igloo. It was as set up beautifully, with lights, heater, and lap blankets in case we were cold. But the heater was so warm, and the sun so strong, we unzipped the zipper to get some cooler air. The food was spectacular. We really enjoyed the fondue, and it he Jack Frost drink was unbelievable yummy.
This was the perfect location for a birthday celebration! Excellent service!!
Began with a Jack Frost drink then had 5 delicious small plate meals. The chairs were lined with soft blankets and the igloos glowed with mini lights. A perfect experience.
We went to celebrate our anniversary. We were a little disappointed to learn it was a small bites and finger foods menu as we were expecting dinner. The food was delicious but I wish the menu had been posted more clearly during reservations. Otherwise it was super fun with excellent, attentive staff! It was cool out and they provide lap blankets and a heater but I recommend you dress for the weather. I’d definitely go back!
Enjoyed beautiful setting on warm, sunny afternoon. Delightful ambiance but only a few side tables beside Adirondack chairs so lap top eating and drinking with 5 persons was tricky. Food was delicious but glad it was casual food and not full dinners for laptop consumption quarters. Server was very accommodating and attentive. Overall a pleasant afternoon.
The atmosphere is fabulous, what a great spot. Food was actually good. Drinks were good. But what a spot, and a wonderful idea!!
Wonderful experience in the Igloo. Delicious food, fabulous!
Food was sub par, ambience was great. Wouldn’t go back, not worth it. There are many others that do the igloo theme way better!
We had such a great experience at the igloos!!! We went for my Moms birthday and all 6 of us fit in perfectly. Love the comfy cozy chairs. Food was delicious, cocktails were fun and tasty, and we ended with warm chocolate chip cookies and hot cocoa! Can't wait to go back!
Don’t waste your time and money. Looks better in pictures. Service was slow and server forgot part of our order and then we were rushed to leave. Served didn’t bring the apple cider/hot chocolate. Had to ask for it and had to take it to go. Rug in igloo was filthy. Food was expensive and sub-par. The cheese plate we ordered laughable. Overall, it was not a pleasant experience. We will not be returning.
Great experience! They went above and beyond to make my son feel special on his birthday!
Igloo wouldn’t close all the way and was a bit closer inside than expected. Dress warmly in winter. Fondue and Sausage platter were excellent and the Jack Frost was delicious.
Marvelous ! Great service .it was still a bit chilly .
Very entertaining 90 minutes. Menu is well constructed to ease ordering and minimize opening of the heated igloo. Very nice compact selection of offerings designed to be consumed while sitting in the Adirondack chairs. Nice selection of drinks. A good quantity of delicious food. We had chowder (best ever) and lobster roll, mixed sausage platter, unlimited flatbread and sliders. All come with desert ( s'mores skillet or warm choc chip cookie). The igloo experience is better when sunny ( heats up fast) but always works. Warm enough to take coats off inside igloo. Would recommend this activity, likely to become a regular offering in the off season once pandemic has subsided.
It was a very fun night and we felt very safe. The igloo was comfortable and inviting! Our server Brian was great!!! He helped us make our selections and was very polite. We will definitely do this again and have already recommend it to family and friends!
We had a wonderful time. Food and beverages were fabulous. Our waiter Dave was awesome and made our time even more fun. 3:30 was the perfect time to see the gorgeous sunset!
Ambiance was not cr but t no t worth the high price.
What a fun night out with our adult children. Bring your iphone to stream music on their boom box too! The bubble/igloo is comfortable and we removed our jackets. There were 6 Adirondack chairs, each with a blanket. The mini space heater was just enough to take the edge off. Pre-ordered food was a great idea as you time was limited to 90 minutes. We didn't have to worry about menus, and ordering. Everything was delivered to the igloo within 10 minutes of our arrival. The igloo was strung with mini Christmas lights and the table also provided ambient lighting as it glowed. Our server was excellent. The igloo offered some downtime with the kids in a different environment. Don't expect fine dining. We had charcuterie which was basic and the boys had the sausages, also decent. But we weren't going for the food, to be honest. All in all a very fun night and I highly recommend! Do book your reservations early. They fill up quickly. What a great way for a restaurant to extend their outdoor dining!
