   We had an amazing date night here. It’s a gorgeous, authentic restaurant - a little piece of Italy! The staff were so friendly, the recommendations were spot on and the food and wine was delicious ! I can’t wait to go back.

   Amazing authentic Italian food with great service. The food is so fresh and the owner is more than happy to tell you about the dishes, where they originated etc. The wine selection is fantastic and not just your regular ones but some great italian selctions.

    I would love to support a local business but this pasta bar has to be joking .2glasses of wine -$34 ,bottle of beer-$12 and then their was the Pasta .Not great,small dishes.My partner was hungry by the time we got home.I could have cooked that same meal for under $29. We had a friend from Sydney with us and she was very dissappointed,her dessert cake $13 was not what she had ordered. So NO we will not be returning

So the future guests can have a better idea. You had a glass of Chianti Classico imported Italian wine. You could have gone with a $10 one still Italian. Pasta is made on side everyday using good quality products and organic semolina. All the beers are imported from Italy. No bottle shops. It is a shame that you didn’t appreciate.     We have eaten at many Italian Restaurants across the coast and Il Toscano at Long Jetty is certainly at the top of the list. The taste and flavours are authentic Tuscany, the hand made pasta is amazing. Matteo is very generous with his time and talks with passion about his food and it speaks volumes for the number of patrons that attend his restaurant for his amazing Italian food. Recommend if you are after the best Italian on the coast do yourself a favour and get down to meet Matteo and his friendly staff.

    Celebrating my husband’s birthday and wanting to try this restaurant for a while, we booked in. It absolutely, did not disappoint! It lived up to all it’s amazing reviews.     We sat on the rear deck, which was nice to watch the sky go from blue to orange. Enjoyed some Italian beer and wine. Friendly staff and food was really good. Hadn’t been out to a ‘proper’ restaurant for quite a while, so really enjoyed the food, wine and atmosphere. All within walking distance, so will definitely be back.
