Absolutely loved it! Chef’s platter was outstanding

Our family loves this place. I highly recommend going.

The Diavola pizza is in the top few pizzas I have ever eaten and I have eaten a lot of pizzas over my life.

Everything was great , the only disappointment was the view......carpark! :)

Loved our evening at Innocent Bystander. Hubby and kids rated the pizzas as “really good” and I adored the tasting platter. One of those meals that I’d be happy to have every day for the rest of my life! Churros for dessert were served with a lush dark chocolate sauce that kept the kids quiet for 20 mins! All round a great experience.

We absolutely loved it here, we will be back. Great staff, nothing was to much for them.

Food was excellent. We chose to eat gluten free due for myself and the gluten free pizza bases were delicious! Have eaten here a few times and have loved it every time. Only negative was that there were lots of flies flying around. Will

We were pleasantly surprise by the whole restaurant experience. Excellent service. Great tasty prompt food. The paella was our favourite. The tasting paddle is an exciting addition to the dining experience; a real must when you visit.

The only thing I would think needs impoverishment is that there was a fly annoying us at our table. Apart from that excellent.

From when you first enter and are greeted to the end of the food and wine journey there is only one word. WOW. The super freindly staff explain everthing from the covid safe checkin , online menus and great knowledge of the food and wine they serve you will not walk out of there without a smile on your face. We will be going back and bringing freinds with us.

Generally good experience. The courtyard can be better furnished for better experience.

Probably the nicest place in town for food. Service is a bit hot and miss. May take a while to wave someone down. The food is good. But not spectacular. But not much to compare to in Healesville.

All of the staff were helpful & willing to ensure a great dining experience & wine tasting afterwards were able to happen. A couple of hours flew by while we we there. We always enjoy our time at Innocent Bystander and will be back! Thank You 😉

We had a lovely time and will definitely go back next time we are in the area!! We were greeted warmly at the door. The food was beautiful!!! We had the vege paella (which was amazing), a margarita pizza and a cold cauliflower side dish. The drinks were lovely and our waitress was an absolute delight. I am pregnant so couldn't take advantage of the amazing wine but have loved it on previous visits. Highly recommend!!!

Great place for a bite to eat and a tasting paddle of local yarra valley wines.
Something to note that the menu is share style, grilled focaccia, pizza and paella for two was way too much food. Would reccomend a visit.

The Innocent Bystander is a great place for a relaxing meal and wind down. Great ambience, interesting meals and refreshments and great staff.

Felt like staff rushed us out. We were happy to order more drinks but were handed check and reminded where to pay despite still drinking.

Great choice of drinks and good quality food. We particularly enjoyed the Nero D'Avola.

Food was average. I think 1.5hrs dining limit is too short- 10 mins to look at the menu, 15-20mins for food to arrive, then you roughly have an hour to eat.

What we ordered:

1. Pallela Mixta- rice was overcooked.
2. Chef Selection- nicely presented, on a meter long board, but really if you put them all close together theyre really not that much. i think its too expensive for $60
3. Spicy Pork Pizza- its alright.
4. Margherita - this one's good.

Worst part-One of our drinks had a dead fly in it. They didnt charge us for that which is alright, but yeah a dead fly.
