Iron Hill - Center City
The new waitress did not tell us anything about the
Happy Hour Menu, but the Manager took great care of us.
Cheesesteak Eggrolls were overcooked. Waiter was very nice
This was a perfect spot for a quick lunch. We had the crabcake sandwich and the falafel burger on grilled naan. Delicious! Blossom bourbon cocktail and Pig Porter IPA rounded out our meal. We would definitely return.
Really good experience for our visit to Philadelphia. Our server was very nice the food and drinks were really good as well. Will definitely recommend people check this place out
Convenient Center City location and the food and service was great on a very busy Saturday night!
Nice atmosphere and the Philly cheesesteak egg rolls were awesome!!!
Glad we got a reservation. We’re seated immediately and had excellent service. Liked the sampling of beers offered.
When in Center City one wants to eat and drink in a short period of time and doesn't expect a lot in ambience and service, this place will do.
Great food, ok service. All special request were taken care of
We love the food and beer at Iron Hill. We are King of the Hill members and it is our go to place if we are on the road. We also enjoy a growler at times. The canned beer menu rotates frequently and there is always a delicious selection to take home with us.
Server was inattentive. Took 20 minutes for our waters. 45 minutes for our drinks. Spending a good amount of money to have bad service is not ideal. Two people with us had never been to iron hill before and now they will most likely not come back
We enjoyed the evening sharing menu items, cheesesteak egg rolls and nachos. Both were yummy! Our server was outstanding- bringing us samples so we could choose a pleasing libation. Next time we are in Philadelphia, we will be sure to visit again. Thanks.
Good service , seated quickly, mediocre food, sirloin was undercooked, very noisy location with background music adding to the noise level.
Loud and crowded, but we were in a booth so we could hear. Food was fine. Nothing to write home about, but worked well for us.
Great waiter. Great beer. Great food
We chose Iron Hill for lunch while in Philadelphia for the flower show. This location is very convenient and directly across the street from the convention center. We actually arrived earlier than our reservation and the restaurant easily accommodated us. Food was awesome, waitress was sparse though. There were other employees that took care of our needs though. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.
Good food. The noise level is high. Suitable for lunch
We visited after the flower show. Everything was great- our server, the food, the drinks. The high chairs and the changing tables were probably the nicest/cleanest I’ve ever seen at a restaurant, so good job there!
Went to Wonderspaces, Iron Hill was only a 5 minute walk. Good choice. Beers were excellent and food was very good. Love this restaurant!
Service was a little slow. Food was pretty good except the bun on one of our burgers was slightly frozen. We didn’t send the food back, but the waitress said they don’t toast their buns. Sort of weird response. But it defrosted.
Our server was great! The food was delicious, and it was very friendly for our little 2 year old.
Iron Hill was perfect for our occasion. Thanks for being there on this busy Saturday.
We only had the appetizers but it was enough to fill us. The fries and the calamari were very delicious with the thai lettuce wraps also being quiet delicious. Our server was wonderful and the drinks were great.
Very good gluten free options and food presentation quite nice
This is my go-to when scheduling work lunches. The diverse menu offers something for everyone, and the kitchen was accommodating for those with food allergies or gluten-free. I've never had a problem with accommodations for our large team.
Food was excellent, and our server was very good. The issue we had was with the manager, an older woman who was nasty and angry that we questioned the location of where she was placing our party of 8. I had made reservations online 2 days before, yet when we arrived they then started to put tables together for our party that had children. When my wife asked if it was possible to sit somewhere else because the table they gave us was only really for 7 people and not 8, the older manager woman got angry. The rest of the service was good except for this one woman who appeared, she didn't want to be bothered with anything, esp helping out her customers on what should have been a simple request.
Good Food and Great Service for our party of 12.
The place was full of smoke coming from the kitchen and it was really smelly. When we asked if something was wrong in the kitchen they said “it happens”. All our clothes and coats smell really bad. Not a good experience.
arrived late for our reservation, but they seated us with in 10-15 minutes which was great! Mushroom soup is wonderful!
Our first time trying the place and I loved it. It’s now in my top 5. I told everyone about it and can’t wait to go back.
Good, reliable meal, nothing too fancy, but pleasant. I’d certainly go again.
Our waitress was attentive and engaging. the Thai lettuce wraps we get every time we go. both our sandwiches were excellent. Couldn't ask for more.
Good experience- enjoyed It!
Nice atmosphere but the food ( sirloin and filet medallions) was very mediocre, small meat portion and not good quality beef. Sides of rice pilaf and broccoli were bland with little to no seasoning. Salad with apple was tasty.
The man who served us was very good.My sister-in-law wasn't sure which beer she wanted so our server even brought out a couple of samples which was cool.
My pub burger was great.Good amount of bacon. My nephews nachos were really good.
Our,,me,my brother and his wife and son,had a great meal.
Thank you for getting us a table on such short notice.
I think my sister-in-law said they were opening an establishment in Newtown Pa.And I hope they do.Thats closer to me.
Thank You John Mccloskey.
Food was good. They were busy from the Auto show. Exhaust fan was not working correctly so it was smoky from the grill. Great place to get a burger and good craft beer downtown.
I ordered something different(steak) than my normal burger & I don’t know if it was because it was Valentine’s Day weekend & the kitchen was busy ,but the food was horrible, it was very bland & super dry!
Food was absolutely amazing! The beer was delicious and fun to try, but they had a variety of cocktails for those who do not like beer! Our server was super nice and our food came out very quickly.
