Wonderful celebration dinner, including our 8 year old grandson, who loved his fish & chips and ice cream sandwich. We have eaten here quite a few times, and the food and service are consistently excellent.

This restaurant is amazing. The staff was excellent and the service was outstanding. The food was prepared and delivered promptly and exactly as requested.

The only thing better than the service, beautiful ambience and delicious food was incredible woman I met there.

We went on a Friday night during COVID, so it was certainly not packed, but even if had been, the way they have the room set up and tables spaced out, it would have been fine. We felt very comfortable dining indoors with the way that all the tables are spaced. The lighting was low, which we didn't mind and the music was not distracting. I got the lobster bisque as a starter, it was good but didn't necessarily taste like a traditional bisque, tasted more of a butternut squash. My partner loved the clam chowder which he had for his starter. He had the fish and chips, which was good, but didn't blow him away. He was expecting a haddock or cod for the fish, but couldn't quite place what it was. I had the pan seared scallops with cannellini beans and oh my word, it was amazing! We would definitely go back for that!

Overall, it's was a nice Friday night out. The menu is quite limited, so may not be the best place for groups, but a nice date night dinner where you still feel comfortable in jeans.

Love this place for food and great cocktail. I’ve recently visited Massachusetts and the service was better the first time around. Tonight our server looked drained and not into accommodating outstanding service. Overall food and ambiance was amazing and I highly recommend coming for oysters and cocktails.

The service and staff were extremely polite and knowledgeable about the menu. Steve, the bartender, was an awesome guy and made us the best drinks I've had in a long time!

We ate outdoors on the patio which was quiet and well spaced. However, the heaters were not very effective and the patio was rather dark. Nevertheless, the food was excellent and definitely worth the effort!! I had a lobster roll that was filled with more lobster than usual and was delicious! My companions had fish and chips and fish sandwiches and they also praised the food. To top it off, we had warm malt ciders which helped to keep us toasty! We all left very satisfied!!

This is a great place! Used to enjoy going to the one in Boston, but the one in Burlington is just as good. A treat.

Island Creek continues to be the flagship of New England culinary fare with superb high touch service and an elevated beverage program.

Their ability to adapt in a time of mandatory restrictions was very well implemented and echos how well thought out every touch is throughout their dining service.

We started with raw bar oysters and shrimp and a pair of crispy oyster sliders; the row 34s were perfectly shucked and the brioche buns for sliders were heaven. Then on to a mid-course of lobster roe noodles which is still one of the most creative and delicious pasta dishes I've ever tried. We finished with fried clams, a warm butter poached lobster roll and the most delectable buttermilk biscuit there ever was.

Service from Dan was exemplary from initial greet to parting farewell.

This restaurant is special in every sense and although we live a couple of hours away we cannot wait for our next visit!

We ended up getting a cheeseburger and fried clams, I really wanted some nice fish but all you had was scallops and salmon and no white fish, the burger was good but I wanted to go to a fish place to get fish which didn’t happen. claims with terrible! Even there many times but had reservations for this coming Sat and I cancelled them !

Great service and great food. Outdoor patio has heaters for cold winter nights. Drinks were amazing. Perfect date night.

Went here on a Saturday night. Made the res on open table same day. Called them to make a 30 adjustment and they accommodated, no problem. They offered us a booth that was perfect with having my mom with us. Area was clean, socially distanced, and felt ‘safe’. Oysters were good (they had their $1 oysters), clam chowder was tasty, fish and chips made well. The crab and artichoke dip was rich - my son loved it, but, too creamy for me. Other than that, great experience this time around! They’ve managed opening, during COVID times, much better than a few months ago. Great job ICOB! We’ll be coming back soon!

We've been to the Burlington location quite a few times with varying experiences.

In this experience, my wife and I made dinner reservations for 6:15pm and when we arrived, we were informed each table was reserved for 90 minutes to allow proper cleaning and preparation for the next guests (we were fine with this). We were seated almost right away.

Just a few minutes later we were greeted by the waiter and he took our order for appetizers and our entrees. Food was great as always, but two things left a lot to be desired:

1. We rarely saw our waiter and he didn't check in as much. It wasn't a busy night especially with the social distancing guidelines in place.

2. The appetizer and entrees took almost 30 minutes each to arrive at our table. I thought we were very patient with the time it took, but unhappy with how long it took.

Island Creek was such a memorable restaurant for us when we first tried it out. Since then, each time we have dinner here, the dining experience (service and food wait time) seems to decline. It'll be a while before we come back.

My friend and I did inside dining because there was a long wait for the patio area. At first I was hesitant, but I have to admit once I saw the inside set up I was fine with it. They had plexiglass dividers totally blocking you off from the booth in front of or behind yours and the distance from the booths to the tables was excellent. I felt comfortable and was able to relax and enjoy an outstanding lobster roll and a half dozen oysters. Our server was excellent!

Another excellent experience. Great food and excellent service. They were out of the brioche buns for the oyster sliders and made them on lobster roll rolls instead for us and they were amazing. Can not wait to go back!

We were regulars at the now shuttered Kenmore Square location and decided to make the trip to Burlington - same delicious, inventive dishes, including the not to be missed dessert - Bamfi pie.
Service was great as well. Well worth the trip!

We were so happy to get back to ICOB and have some of our old favorites, the Wildwood & Snug Harbour Smash... so good. The oysters were perfect & my hot buttered lobster roll was really good. Lobster was cooked perfectly, and was warm & buttery. The roll was also warm, lightly toasted or grilled and buttery as well. Just the way we like them. Seating was very social distanced. High ceiling + open space + ventilation made us feel safe during these crazy times. Can’t wait to go back.

Very friendly and helpful staff.. this was a special birthday and both the host and our server were very kind and accommodating. When I arrived early for my reservation a lot was being asked of the host pretty much right upon opening the restaurant. There was another reservation in front of me, a customer picking up an order, and the phone was ringing. She managed to meet all of our needs quickly and with a smile. Our server was also really patient with our party of 5.. we didn’t arrive all at the same time and weren’t always ready to order things when he came back to us, this can be so stressful as a server but he just made sure we were all having a good time. The food was great too! We would definitely come back and would recommend for an occasion
