Island Vibe Bar & Restaurant

I've been to this restaurant before and it was fantastic. Hopefully it will be again soon. I say this because on receiving an email the day before from Open table to confirm my booking. To which I did. I arrived the following day only to my dismay and ones guest. The place was shut! Due to being in Tier 3 because of Covid! I would have thought Open Table would have been in touch like Trip Advisor to cancel my booking for another restaurant which was for the following day. We were utterly disappointed!

Good food though ran out of white rice early in the evening.

lovely little place. Food and drinks were excellent. Only downfall is they had one girl serving everyone in the restaurant, she looked so over worked which I didn’t agree with. Other than that amazing xx

Really nice restaurant, food is authentic and full of flavour, really great service, only criticism I have is the cocktails need re working, I asked for something sweet and was advised a drink that was overly flavored with lime. Last cocktail I had on another occasion was to bitter also.

Fabulous Sunday roast with the perfect cocktails! The staff were amazing and really attentive. We will be back for sure x

Staff all really attentive and helpful, cocktails were lovely and cheap too!

Excellent value for money and very pleased with the new vegan options, especially Sunday Lunch.

Main disappointment was that there was no table reserved for us despite booking a month in advance and confirming the day before.

Went her for a carribean roast, actually turned out to be a standard roast that was dried out, hardly any gravy with a side of rice and peas. They did bring hot sauce when I asked though .

Second time there. Loved it first time but this time not so much. Food is okay but service can improve. They take a long time to take your order BUT the staff are friendly.

Cocktails are good. I will be back. Won’t write them off. Everyone has off days.

Nice and timely service.... my only critic is that the macaroni cheese portion should be double the size... as for the rum n raisin icecream - delish!!

Had a great time. Our waitress was lovely. Dont know her name. A beautiful mixed race girl with braids. Chef was good came out of the kitchen to inform us himself that he had no lobster. But experience was good. I have had one bad experience here but its all forgiven now as i was pleased. Xx

Love the foods there, enjoy atmosphere and the services was great!!! Recommend to everyone who loves Caribbean foods. We will defo return there again and recommend to friends.

Was out for my partners birthday , I know curry mutton has a lot of bones but had hardly any meat , my rice was cold and so was my partners , didn’t feel it was appropriate to complain as we come from out the area to have a nice time , don’t feel the measures for brandy are correct as a double was very small. I did question this !! But overall it’s a lovely place staff were friendly but based on everything else not sure I will be revisiting

Due to being a fairly new restaurant and seemingly quite popular especially during 50% off .Disappointed no dessert which is made but no alternative.But great meal lovely cocktails and enjoyable atmosphere are all the pluses .

Food was nice but took nearly an hour to come and they also didn’t have the what we initially ordered.

Food was well prepared, hot and really tasty. The night we went was very busy so service was slow. The cocktails were good!

Staff were very rude and unprofessional especially the mixed race girl with the blonde hair. We only received half of our order and when informing them we still did not receive the other half. Of course they took this off the bill but it’s besides the point. Staff pick and chose if and when they could be bothered to wear a mask. Potion sized are tiny and the mac and cheese is dry and there’s no doubt in my mind that it wasn’t fresh.

Cocktails were great but food wasn't that nice and they ran out of puddings!

Attended Island Vibes Caribbean restaurant for the first time. The staff were warm and welcoming and there was a nice relaxed atmosphere. The food was hot, appetizing but feel the portions size of sides or main could be bigger. I found it great value for money and there was a diverse range of people and ages which added to the ambience. Hand sanitizing was available and staff had on face masks and seated was kept in line with social distancing. I would recommend to family and friends .
