IE has become my very favorite place to eat. Its consistently excellent in ALL ways.

IE is a great neighborhood restaurant & bar- great food, service & ambiance. It’s always warm, cozy, comfortable & good service. It’s everyday dining, and should be a go to! Thank you, one of my favorite neighborhood places that I frequent regularly.

Each item we ordered was delicious and the portion size was just right. The staff was courteous and the restaurant took several precautions so that customers have an enjoyable and safe experience. Overall, an evening well-spent!

Delish pasta with a modern twist on the classics. We started with Brussels that were awesome, and I got the mushroom capaletti pasta (FAVORITE) and an angry Calabrian. Will be going back soon!

We love Italian Eatery! It's the first place we booked once restaurants were back open. We have never had a bad meal there and can not say enough good things about the service and the food.

Italian Eatery never disappoints....it is always delicious! It was so nice to get out and go to dinner. It felt safe and conscious of social distancing and the food was amazing and we had great service.

The octopus is one of the best dishes. However, it was a tad too well done. The baked garganelli was not up to our expectations. Meatballs were delicious but the sauce was watery and it did not have the depth of flavor that we envisioned. Beer list should be expanded with more variety.

We loved the vibe of the restaurant, and felt very safe while dining at I.E.
All of the food was delicious, and next time I’ll save room for dessert.

We live in the neighborhood and have been here several times since this summer. The food is always great. This was our first time sitting inside. I believe our server was new and perhaps a little uncomfortable. While professional, it was a bit of an awkward experience where he would linger over us in silence until he finally spoke. It became more noticeable as the evening progressed and eventually was front of mind by the time our coffee arrived. All in all - fabulous food l, but the weirdness totally took away from what otherwise would have been a great experience.

It was the perfect way to celebrate my friend’s birthday! We both loved the ambiance, food, and service!

Love the ambiance. The food was sooo good. We enjoyed both wines and delicious cocktails. I appreciated the ability to have gluten free pasta and still enjoy an incredible entree. I'm so glad we tried out this wonderful gem!

Always one of my favorite places to eat with a great staff. They're so knowledgeable about the menu and friendly. They've created a great outdoor space with heaters and everyone is very well distanced.

ie is our favorite place in Minneapolis! The menu never disappoints and the service is top notch. They are extremely safe, taking all the appropriate precautions to reduce the potential spread of COVID.

We love IE! We went there to sit outside for our anniversary and had the most delicious meal, served up my a great server named Enrique. And the gave us champagne and an anniversary card! Support this treasure this winter. They do great takeout .

We very much enjoyed our experience. Our wait person was very attentive and provided us with excellent service. We appreciated the staff efforts to keep everyone safe and comfortable. The heat lamps and fire pit were put in use in a timely manner. Our dinners were delicious. We had a wonderful evening.

Sat outside on the "patio" in the heated storage container. Really fun and comfortable way to enjoy one more outdoor dinner as we head into winter. Great food and service. Will be back.

Would have given five stars had the seating been better. Wooden benches, and small tables don’t make for a comfortable dinner experience. Food and service were great. Just hope you’re lucky enough to get a good seat.

We ordered the lamb scottadito, meatballs, and prosciutto with burrtta as starters. All 3 are amazing. I've had the other cheese starter (its not as good). Then we got the corn ravioli (my favorite pasta dish after trying everything on the menu over 4 visits) and the wild boar meatballs. all the pastas are perfect everytime. The servers are very knowledgeable, feel confident asking them for sugestions. My favorite drinks are the seasonal shrub and capucino. I don't drink, but everyone I've gone with has ejoyed their cocktails (oh, except the 30 day limoncello, its fairly harsh which must be why the 90 day is usually gone). I E is the best resturaunt on the southside.

It’s always a five star experience-even out on the patio in mid October. We love this gem.
