   When I walked and let the male host know I had reservations. He responded with at Jackie American Bistro as if I was in the wrong restaurant so I didn’t like that and I almost felt like it was a racism thing. We got sat in the small table in the middle of the floor although the place was damn near empty. The server came over and brought waters and disappeared for a very long time that we ended up just going to the bar. The bar staff was wonderful but the drinks were overpriced and not good. Me and my friend didn’t like our drinks and the food was just ok. Probably won’t recommend or ever go back there again.

   Asked for steak to be well done, but clearly it was not after cutting into it. They took it back to the kitchen, and by the time it was brought back I was almost finished eating my other two sides. Food had no seasoning, and sauces were also forgotten. Great atmosphere, but that's all you're paying for.

    Tanner and Joe were wonderful. Tanner was welcoming and very pleasant and Joe provided excellent service, made great suggestions and was very tentative. We will be back!

    Overall, not bad. The server was super nervous and anxious, but kind. The decor was nice, but a trip to the men’s restroom was, ahem… memorable. Whoever thought of integrating a sink with a urinal needs to be fired. I understand being next door to the stadium requires the restaurant to be efficient at getting customers in and out quickly, but come on.

    The food is good and that’s the problem because the service is absolutely awful. 2nd time coming here with bad service. Host/hostesses with no clue what’s going on. Waiters who just disappear. It’s a shame because the food is good but not worth dealing with terrible service.

    The ambiance was fine. The food came out slow but perhaps due to it being mother's day. However, the food was awful. The fried chicken sandwich was rubbery and fatty. The shrimp and grits had no seasoning and neither did the steak and eggs. My kids' plain hamburger and waffle, along with the pastry plate were the only good things. Huge waste of money.     This place didn’t have too many food choices to choose from but have a lot of alcohol beverages. Our service started off nice and everything, the food came out very quickly but it didn’t taste good at all. My mom had order the roasted half chicken with carrots and the potatoes they carrots was really burnt like black and when she ask them to make her new carrots the server said that supervisor said that it wasn’t carrots and that’s how they are made. I had the chicken sandwich the only thing that was good was the fries the chicken sandwich was sloppy and dry like the chicken been sitting. The drinks were water down I didn’t taste any alcohol for $16 it should of been strong or something. When we ask for stuff to be taken off the bill the server acted like he couldn’t. I felt like we were ripped off and the waiter was a little racist. I ask did they take cash he gotten smart and said only card it tells you that online. I didn’t want to pay for the meals at all because they were terrible but I did anyway because I didn’t want to cost a screen. So after I paid for the food we left and I would not ever return back to this place 0/10

    One of the most disappointing meals we've had in a long time. The cacio e pepe was shockingly bad, like kids' menu buttered noodles with a clump of cheese. The hamburgers were dry. The sauce on the cannelloni was bland, on par with some generic store-bought sauce. The kids' menu macaroni & cheese bizarrely had bits of green peppers chopped into it; when our server saw us investigating she kindly and quickly offered a replacement of chicken tenders (on the house, but they arrived too late and we had to take them to go.) The one upside to our meal was our very kind and attentive server.

    Jackie misses the mark and doesn’t live up to its potential. I would not recommend. The ambiance is cute, but the food is very bland, and the options aren’t great. Also, the service is slow (despite the restaurant being empty). Hate to say it, but for those prices, you can have a better experience elsewhere.

    This was the worst restaurant I’ve ever been too. I ordered a pasta dish, it came over cooked and the pasta was in clumps and taste was so bland. I sent this dish back and ordered another pasta dish with meatballs. As soon as I tasted it I got heartburn. It tasted like gar sauce and frozen meat balls. I would never go back.

    We sat at the bar for brunch around 11am Saturday and were immediately and warmly greeted by Michael (Mike) and Daniel. We received our Bloody Mary and mimosa and placed our breakfast order. We were advised that my corn chowder would be delayed so I agreed we should get the rest of our food when it was ready and I could wait on the chowder. I am really not sure what happened in the kitchen but our order proceeded to take forever. Mike checked in several times and finally stood at the kitchen door until they gave it to him. My chowder never did come out. The French toast was pretty good but my avocado toast was the most bland version I’ve ever seen, just sliced avocado on top of dry Texas toast. I have to say that Mike handled the debacle like a seasoned champ and made up for it with his good humor and fresh drinks as the time ticked away.

    This place was incredible! I went for my birthday dinner with about 9 guests and our waiter was an absolute angel and honestly gave the best service I have ever gotten at a restaurant! Food was incredible and the ESPRESO MARTINI was to die for. I would not hesitate to come here every weekend for the food and service. Although they have a semi select menu, you cannot go wrong with what you order. My only issue was parking in the area was horrible, so I suggest Ubering so you don't have to worry about parking 1/2 a mile away!

    Went for Easter brunch and the service was abysmal. It took 45+ minutes for our food and then it was like warm/cold. Took another 20 minutes to get the check. Pretty disappointed in the experience.

    There was large Happy hour event in the bar area which added to the ambience. The server and manager collaborated to help a confused couple find the perfect wine. They saved my favorite booth as requested.

    Very good food. Excellent ambience in a popular neighborhood (Navy Yard) in Washington, D.C. Fantastic staff makes everyone feel comfortable. Waiter Zach could not have been more friendly and knowledgeable. Speaking of knowledgeable, you're not likely to find a better bartender (and I'm a drinker) in town than Daniel Rendevos. His creations match his wonderfully friendly and welcoming demeanor. Ask him what you like and he'll develop something on the spot.

    For our last night in DC we enjoyed an absolutely wonderful dinner at Jackie. Our server, Lily, was exceptional and gave us great pairing suggestions. Timing was right on and never felt rushed. Everything was delicious. We enjoyed an assortment of mocktails, fig and shrimp dish, cheese biscuits, cannelloni, short ribs, a burger, chocolate cake and some of the best ice cream! Yum!

    Foud this place by accident and I'm so glad we did! Your staff is so attentive and Jill by far deserves a raise. She ensured my glass was full of champagne and SPOKE to my toddler as if he was paying the bill himself. They are really accommodating and easy-going with large groups.

    We had a group of 13 people that came together to bid farewell to one of our colleagues. The restaurant set up a table where we would all be comfortable and assigned a wonderful wait team to assist us throughout the evening.     We had a 3:00pm reservation, just for them to tell us that we would only have two food options because their brunch closed at 3:00 pm. If that is the case, why do you guys have a 3:00 pm reservation option. When other restaurants close, for example Ilili, you are still served the full menu even though they close for a portion of the day. We ended up leaving because we wanted an actual menu.
