This review is solely for the Murder Mystery Dinner event on May 30th. We LOVE Jackson’s. It’s our go to for a great meal and environment. The pork chops with bacon jam are simply amazing. So, we didn’t hesitate when they were hosting a murder mystery dinner event. It was $70 per person with the gratuity and all fees were added in we paid a total of @180$ for 2 people. It was a cash bar so we came into this expecting to pay a ln additional for the evening. I write reviews good and bad please look at my profile. I have to be honest this was pretty rough. The production of the “murder mystery” was pretty bad. There were so many character names it was quite confusing. The storyline itself didn’t make much sense. And it was RUSHED! It started at 6pm and we the room was empty and torn down by 8pm. We were not half way through eating and were told that the show would start back up soon and to finish up. It felt as if the host has a meeting he had to get to or something. The room had numerous empty tables proof that many tickets did not sell. It would have been better to remove the empty tables for tickets that did not sell than to stretch 20-25 people across a big event room. The buffet was “eh”. Jackson’s salmon is always great so it was on point but the chicken marsala was not great. We had green beans, roasted potato wedges and salad, that had no veggies in it but only green. There were rolls. Soft drinks consisted of canned soda. There was coffee that was cold, not tepid but cold. The dessert “table” consisted of rice crispy treats, and lemon bars and the tray was empty before everyone had a chance to grab one. The evening did not stand up to Jacksons typical food & environment that we have come to expect. We will not attend another murder mystery dinner. However, definitely back to Jacksons for their typical menu and service.

Our server was wonderful … the food was good .. it just was a bit cold in the area where we sat but other than that it was nice buffet for Mother’s Day

Food was excellent. We were there earlier than our reservation but even though they were busy, they were very accommodating.

We love the Easter brunch and hope it continues yearly! We were in the front room, so nice and quiet. The Easter buffet was a nice mix of morning, brunch, food, and entrées, especially love the salmon which is hard to do on a buffet.
