Jam's - Legacy
Food was good. Table was extremely wobbly. Gnats buzzing around the wine bottle.
Limited food selection
Steak was embarrassing for Omaha. $30 got a dry over cooked small cut with fries.
Stick to sandwiches and appetizers
Good food, friendly staff, however ordered bottomless mimosas and waiting 20 minutes after ordering one to receive one and we were limited to only 3 before being forced our bill.
Great service and good.
Jams is a good spot for lunch and dinner. Food is good. I had an issue with the service this time but I'll be back.
We ordered a bottle of wine, didn’t have it....ordered another bottle of wine, didn’t have it. Ordered drinks...manager came over to say the wine list was old and didn’t know how it had made it to a table, etc. They did not even carry the 2 bottles we had ordered. And after 35 minutes we finally got our drinks. The server did not know the soup of the day but everyone’s order of food did arrive in a timely manner and everything was very good.
As always, Jams was a great experience!! The food was wonderful, our server was very professional and personable, and the atmosphere was busy and fun!!!
What a huge disappointment! We have dined at the Dodge Street and downtown locations several times and have always enjoyed our outings. The Legacy location was awful. I had the Asian lettuce wraps- the only good thing about the dish was the lettuce. How does one wrap lettuce around ramen soup? My husband’s food was cold. He also has milk allergies and asked that his sandwich have no cheese or butter. Unfortunately, the request was not honored and he suffered a miserable next 24 hours from the effects of the butter on the bread. Is this perhaps the holdover effects of covid? I hope this was just an off-night.
Ridiculous portions, great service, crafted cocktails, and a buzzing environment delivered a very tasty evening.
The food from the brunch menu was outstanding. Our waitress seemed to be new and rushed to wait on us. I had to ask 3 times for sweetener for my coffee. That seems like a small thing but is something experienced wait staff would not do.
This was our first time at Jams. Our friends love it and talk about it all the time. We were seated for our reservation immediately upon arrival. The food was delicious. Service was super quick. All of the staff were very friendly and attentive. Nights out are rare for us, but we wanted to get out for our anniversary. This was our first time out since having our second baby and we were both so happy with our experience at Jams.
Restaurant was very busy and, thus, very noisy. Difficult to carry on a conversation. But our server, Brooke, was excellent.
Service and atmosphere was good. Food was disappointing though. Got the porterhouse special and it was undercooked. Also for $49 the quality was more like a bar 9.99 special not a $49 steak by any means. A steak at outback for 20 is by far better. Appetizers were good and waitress was very pleasant and did a good job
Everything was wonderful. Making another reservation for tonight!
Made a reservation days in advance. Upon arrival, we got seated in the way back right by the kitchen. The worst table in the restaurant, literally. Should have just walked in and tried my luck.
Awesome menu with so many great choices. The lobster tacos are my favorite!! Service is friendly and attentive. Perfect for date night or going with friends!
Service was perfect. Loved the atmosphere and food as always was delicious!
Friday night dining was very crowded, didn’t seem to be enough wait staff. The food order came quickly however, and was visually beautiful and very delicious. We will definitely go again in the future
Went there to have fish, the lobster tacos we’re not good, had a lot of breading on the lobster so didn’t taste the lobster. The Mac and cheese was the best part of the meal. When we told the waitress, she shrugged it off. We also had reservations for 5:30, to get in on the happy hour specials, but since we were seated in the dining area and not the bar area, nothing applies. Didn’t expect that. I think that is a stupid rule. Management needs to change this. Also, the manager walked by our table 3 times, and not once stopped to ask about anything. He just more less walked around showing his presence. I have been there for lunch, liked it a lot, so I thought I would try there for dinner. Very disappointed. Probably spend my money elsewhere.
Great food and service
Wide range of items to choose on the menu. Blackened mahi tacos were delicious, yet subtle. My fiancé is picky on his calamari yet, LOVED Jams calamari and I agree!
We sat at the bar and had excellent service from the bartenders. They were very attentive and both drinks and food were served quickly. It was a great place to celebrate Valentine's Day!
Overpriced. Menu was small and wasn't anything special. Service was quick in and out in less than an hour.
Short rib tacos can’t be beat!!!!
Good things: Our server was friendly. Coconut chicken salad was excellent, as was the Steak Cobb Salad.
Room for improvement: Spinach dip was very bland. The bar served a very poorly made Old Fashioned. My boyfriend could not even drink it. Most disconcerting was that multiple servers and staff were wearing masks under their noses. Research shows that improper wear like that greatly increases the risk of COVID-19 transmission.
We would like to return, but I hope the mask wearing and drinks will be improved!!! Thank you!
Our favorite place for food and drinks. Wait staff is super friendly and knowledgeable.
Great meal, drinks, easy conversations. Highly recommend...
Best restaurant in Omaha
First time here, don’t need to come back! Food was average. Soggy sandwich. Service was fine.
They didn’t check us in on open table so I had to explain that. Other than that is was good.
Food was excellent. Will definitely be back.
I’m never disappointed at any of the Jam’s locations. We were seated in the back party room and my only comment is that it was a little chilly back there. Otherwise all was good!
Great flavors! We particularly enjoyed the lettuce wraps we had as an appetizer. Entrees of lobster tacos and carnitas enchilada were very tasty as well. We stopped half way through the meal and boxed up the remainder to take home. That allowed room for dessert - a warm, gooey chocolate chip cookie skillet with ice cream. All in all a delicious, safe, and fun dining experience.
New Years Eve dinner and our service was amazing! Our waiter did a fantastic job recommending a perfect bottle of wine and our prime ribs dinners were amazing!
Everything was amazing!! We will definitely go back!
Great food, good portion sizes, always excellent service
Overall good experience! Corners of the restaurant are a little loud, especially by the kitchen entrances. Food and drinks are great!
We had our annual Christmas Eve dinner at Jams Legacy for the first time and had a great time.
We had a party of 7 and it a great time. Service, food and ambiance!
