Joe’s Crab Shack offers a variety of favorites from all parts of the sea and shore. From its extensive menu, guests can choose from buckets of seasonal seafood, fried shrimp platters and fish dishes, as well as options from the “mainland” that include steak, sandwiches, and chicken. Guests can indulge in over-sized and creative cocktails, such as the Shark Bite which is playfully garnished with a shark toy. Since its inception, Joe’s popularity has stemmed not only from its menu, but also its retail store. With various pieces of merchandise for purchase, including the ever-popular tie-dye T-shirt with the phrase “Peace, Love and Crabs,” Joe’s has become synonymous with the word “fun.”

    I got the seafood boil and it was so bad I couldn’t eat it. There was no butter or seasoning on the food.

    Great Service. Not crowded, we had the best server. She was fast and professional. I wish we remembered her name. Great vacation. Spot. Management was amazing!!! I am allergic to shrimp, the management took great care of me. #chattanoogalovesyoi

    We had a wonderful evening celebrating a birthday. The food was good. The guy who comes around and takes your photos made us laugh with the pictures he brought back. We bought the majority of the pack. We got a crab boil, pill eat shrimp, the calamari and crab ball, cheese dip, appetizer, and a sampler. We will definitely come back at some point in the future don’t take my word for it. Try it for yourself.

    Our food was tasty and served expeditiously but some of our peel and eat shrimp were not properly cleaned and deveined. We were lucky to have Christine as our server again. She was as delightful and friendly as she was in June on a previous visit.

    They didn’t have gluten free options, which was ok because I just wanted the grilled fish on the gluten free menu that I saw online. They offered me the mahi mahi which was very good, but I was told it came with grilled shrimp and I got fried shrimp. Just wanted a healthier option but mahi mahi was very good. Service and atmosphere was great.

    Very low key . Went there for a birthday and went to a joes in Myrtle beach and was a totally different experience
