Birthday lunch for 89 year old mother. Food liked by all and dessert for mom came with birthday wishes on the plate - nice touch. However a bit noisy to hear each other well.

The food was cold, service was awful. After I complained to the manager, things improved. Very disappointing as my son and I were there to enjoy a meal and each other’s company.

Took my boyfriend’s parents here for the first time. They had never been and we thought it would be nice to go here for dinner. Needless to say, everyone cleaned off their plates! Food and service were exceptional...as usual!

It was a beautiful day so we ate outside on the patio. Maybe a safer choice due to the pandemic. We had Jessica as our server. A delightful young lady who knows how to give her customers their space. She is knowledgeable re the menu and beverages. We chose the Tuna Poke Bowl, healthy and tasty. And the trio of sliders. Always delicious. We didn’t need much encouragement to order desert to go. One strawberry cheesecake and one apple pie. Couldn’t get any better..

With Covid all around us, Joey’s followed all the rules to keep their diners safe. Our waitress, Jessica, is one of our favourites and we like to sit in her station when she is working. The food was, as we expect from Joey’s, excellent. We also took home two of their jarred desserts to enjoy later.

Limited reservations. Had to settle for 4pm (middle of the day). There was no one else at the restaurant other than my party of 3. We stayed until 6pm and only one other party was seated besides us.

FIrst visit back to Joey's since the start of COVID-19. Sure is a lot quieter. But the food and service was all good. Really enjoyed my blackened chicken dish and the calamari appetizer was excellent. Nice to be back!

Food was decent, ambience was okay... it’s weird with covid right now. We both had the tuna salad and there passionfruit margarita.

But our server was 10/10. I was celebrating the birth of my daughter and she surprised us with a complementary lava cake. She was also very patient with us as we were catching up and took forever to order. I can’t remember her name but she was fantastic.

Our first experience dining since restaurants re-opened - Joey's did a fantastic job. Felt clean but not impersonal which I was concerned about. Service and food were great.

Great. Very respectful of space. Sushi cones were delicious as always.

The chicken lettuce wrap had a very nice blend of spices. Congrats!!

Been many times when not happy hour and food available is a nice balanced selection.

Good hot food served all together with a party of 5. Service a bit slower than usual this time but I wasn’t in a hurry and it’s always quite good.

My friends and I all ordered different meals and everyone loved their food! Kudos to the cooks!The fish tacos and the spaghetti we’re group favourites. Presentation was well done ( all the plates came out looking really nice) and our server was attentive, polite , welcoming and knowledgeable about the menu. It is a great space to be in , the glass sculpture is beautiful and the ambiance lent to having a good time with friends and or family.

Food was good. Pasta sauce and the steak was exquisite. However, we specifically asked for happy hour menu but the waitress forgot to apply the discount and we only found out after we paid. Other than that, very attentive and overall good experience.

The entire experience was awesome. My only comment would be that a restaurant of this caliber and price should consider cloth napkins. Otherwise, all was perfect.

Good food but not special.

Great experience and good food as usual. I am not rating with 5 stars because it took 20 minutes to get my table WITH a booking AND the service for drinks was very slow.

As always, had an amazing experience at Joey restaurant. This was my first time at the Coquitlam location and my experience was consistent with the other Joey locations - fabulous!!

Excellent food! First seated near a massive cold draft. Asked to move and got an immediate response. Gluten and dairy free option available.

Celebrated a birthday. The service was excellent. The food delivered well within the expected time frame associated with crowd size.

The server forgot to take our order, give us the bill and pack our food to go. She basically forgot that we were there!


Food was ok. I would say not really worth the price. They could make up for a nice ambience but the ambience there when we visited felt old and dated.

My friend ordered the house salad as the full salad was too big for her. The house salad was overdressed, we mentioned it to our waitress but didn't think any of it. Then found out when we paid that they took it off our bill! Great customer care with going the extra step!

Our server was Wonderful! Only her 4th table ever and she was friendly, helpful, and fun!! We had such a great experience!! Will definitely recommend!!! Thank you to the kitchen staff also who could answer all the questions regarding the allergies and worked to make a tasty meal even with the limitations!!

first ever visit for a lunch as were visiting the area. We had incredibly good service and our two salads were very good.

All the staff were friendly and attentive. Delicious food, great vibe. One of my favourite places now!
