My friend and I had lunch at Johnny's on on Friday January 15th. It was very quiet. Our food was great, the hostess was very friendly and we really enjoyed our server. We also had a delicious salad with the honey balsamic vinegrette and added a burger, my friend had a salad with salmon. We enjoyed a cocktail as well. Easy parking, great place will go back for sure

The food and service were great. We are trying times for the food industry, however Johnny's staff provided a fully complaint experience. The food was as we hoped and our server double a our bartender serving great Jalapeno infused margaritas along with great service.

I would recommend the braised short ribs here. The service was great and good portion sizes.

My husband and I were seated right behind and next to other couples when the entire restaurant was pretty empty! We moved to a table that was away from others.
The food was pretty good, but a little pricey for what we had!
The wine by the glass was over priced for the amount and quality of the wine!

Went fir our anniversary service was excellent and food as usual superb!!!
The Burratta with peaches was outstanding!!!
Also your specialty cocktails are incredible!!

Today I visited Johnny's Tavern for lunch with my cousin. We were impressed with precautionary measures due to Covid, food and beverages were excellent, our server Tanya was very attentive & made the dining experience even better!! Only drawback was we didn't notice any parking meters, we came in separate cars & both received $15 parking tickets.

We had a very good lunch at this in-town restaurant with a local friend. The food was excellent, though a tad pricey, but everything was prepared perfectly. The burrata cheese appetizer with peach compote was particularly tasty. I had a "tavern burger", which is a house specialty, and it was cooked exactly as requested.

Absolutely the best calamari I’ve ever had. And duck special was amazing. The kids enjoyed their fried chicken beyond belief. We had a wonderful wonderful experience.

Our dinners were excellent, the wait staff was friendly and gave us the time we needed to catch up with friends, and we received a booth as requested. Excellent value!

Johnny's is one of our favorite spots to go in Amherst with our son who is in college there. The wait staff is super friendly with excellent service and the food is very good!

We started with the truffle fries, and the tomato jam that comes with it is unreal. I had one of the specials, a house made pasta with shrimp, sausage, peppers and red wine cream sauce. I’ve never had anything like it! The entree was $20, and well worth it. We went before a UMass hockey game so it was crowded, but we used Open Table for a reservation and didn’t have to wait at all. I would definitely come here again!

It was our first time to Johnny's as we were visiting UMass. Johnny's was recommended to us by several friends who had been there previously and it did NOT disappoint!! Great atmosphere, nice bar, fantastic service, and delicious food! Thank you!!
