KAISEKI YUZU is a refined Japanese restaurant on Spring Mountain Road in Las Vegas, specializing in kaiseki, sushi omakase, and A5 Wagyu Gyu Kappo. Led by Chef Kaoru Azeuchi, a 2023 James Beard Award Finalist, we offer seasonal cuisine rooted in tradition, carefully sourced ingredients, and warm hospitality.

Early in his career, Chef Azeuchi rose quickly to the position of sous chef. During a royal visit to Kagawa Prefecture by then-Crown Prince Naruhito — now His Imperial Majesty the Emperor of Japan — Chef Azeuchi had the honor of preparing a meal for him.

    This place was absolutely outstanding. Better than Jiro’s. Honestly, better than any omekase meal I’ve ever had, including some of the best in Tokyo. Mayumi, our server, explained everything well and clearly authentically enjoyed her job. Ingredients were sourced directly from the Tokyo and Osaka markets, and were amazing. I will insist on coming any time I’m in Las Vegas.

    Feels like going to an omakase in Japan! Excellent meal, well paced, nice options for al a carte. Servers were very nice and attentive. Fish selections and preparation were standard but very good. Impressive drink menu with lots of sake options .

    Everything was perfect. I had been anticipating this dinner for months and it exceeded all my expectations. The food was so delicious and the knowledge of the staff was unparalleled. I felt so well cared for while dining there.
