Overall a lovely experience.
Food was fabulous, full of flavour and an interesting change from the norm. The watermelon salad is a must along with the beef stir fry.
A great restaurant in a thriving neighborhood.
We have been trying to go the Kay Pasha for a number of months now. Service was friendly and helpful and the food was delicious. I would definitely recommend it.
One small comment. In the past I have tried to call the restaurant to confirm some questions (eg. do they have a license to bring my own wine etc.?). There is only a recorded message (I tried many many times) as no one ever seems to answer the phone. Sometimes a personal touch of being able to talk to a person helps.
Great service. Our server really accommodated our allergy requests and recognized our anniversary celebration.
Very enjoyable dinner. Chicken skewers were very good.
What a night. Fantastic food - we had the sharing menu which was a great value and there was so much food....each item was better than the next - we ended up taking some home. The staff were friendly, there when we needed and we never had to ask for anything twice. The atmosphere was also exactly what we needed. There were 7 of us and we were seated at a large round table. We will absolutely be back!
The ceviche, seafood fried rice and cocktails are amazing. The venue is intimate and beautiful, if a little loud. Overall good experience and definitely would recommend.
The service is frustratingly slow. Reservation was at 6pm, we were the third table in the entire place and drinks still took 20 minutes. Not everyone in my party of 4 ordered an appetizer and they waited 2 hours for their main dish to arrive (restaurant was full by then). There was a long wait for the mains well after the appetizers were finished. We had other plans after dinner that were ruined. The music is too loud for normal conversation. They were out of the ingredients to serve the only salad on the menu. Their classic pisco sour is all I enjoyed and at $16 it was a stretch. During my first visit we were brought a dessert decorated with crushed pistachios even though we warned the waiter we had a nut allergy. Needless to say, I will not be returning.
Ceviche is amazing. Service is always fantastic. Small but inviting and comfortable space to dine. Love this restaurant.
The food is simple but bursting with flavour and is presented well. Portions are small, but that seems to balance out for the great quality.
Loved the 2 Ceviches we ordered. The chicken stew and Miami ribs were okay. The apps were great. Next time will try different mains.
Great place with a cool feature ceiling at St. Clair W. Nice atmospheric restaurant that serves authentic Peruvian dishes and cocktails. Will come back here again!
I have been here many time always a wonderful experience! Delicious food and great service 👌
It was a great experience. Food and service were superb. My only criticism is that $16. for a Pisco Sour is way too much.
Delicious meals and cocktails. Service was top notch.
Awesome as always!
Great sample of peruvian food, absolutely delicious.
Outdoor patio less pleasant than indoors
This was a terrible representation of Peruvian food and I would not recommend anyone going. Service was extremely slow and took me having to send dirty looks to the staff so they would come get our orders for food and for drinks. Food was overpriced for what they served. Mark up on the wine was ridiculous. A $15 bottle was marked up to $60... never have I seen that much less in a restaurant that could never be classified as upscale. I have never been more disappointed to go out for dinner.
Outside can be noisy and ambience takes a hit, but then the weather was fabulous and we dealt with the noise.
Great food, great service.
Great portion size, flavours were on point and the staff was very attentive.
Wonderful atmosphere and food as always. We got the empanaditas, ceviche and Miami ribs. Everything was fresh and the citrusy ceviche definitely served as a great palette cleanser almost for the ribs. A definite must try if you’re in the area!
Best Peruvian food in Toronto. Everything was spectacular, from the service to the ambience. Couldn't have asked for a better meal and experience.
The food was delicious and the menu offerings were very good and interesting. Great place for friends and family gatherings. Service is good too.
Pretty good interesting food. Cerviche was very good. Tuna taco was great. Deep fried agave was bland with a bland sauce. Seafood and rice dish was excellent. Good value for money, except for drinks which were small and expensive.
The food was actually better than five stars. Highly recommended
The food and flavours of each dish were outstanding! Nice ambiance with the wooden panelling and bright windows. Service was not as impressive as you would expect from this caliber of restaurant; server was fine but small things were not done until asked, like refilling wine/water, and changing plates (tapas style, so many flavours/sauces get mixed); didn't recommend the approx. number of dishes we'd need or that we should consider ordering two orders of skewers for the number of people we were. All in all, the food and wine quality made up for the evening.
The food is not peruvian, all the flavours are different, ceviche poor, causa nothing to compare, aji de gallina too cheesy, anticuchos no flavour, lomo saltado not at all, chicha morada terrible. You can't have a cheff from another country cooking peruvian food. Prices too high for the quality.
Beautiful location, with a great vibe. I'd say all the dishes except for the mains were amazing. I am a bit disappointed with the fact that it wasn't made clear that the mains are huge enough for sharing. And overly salty...but still a great spot to catch some sharing bites
I went to Kay Pacha with my boyfriend and we both agreed it was some of the best food we had ever eaten in our entire lives! Not only was the food amazing but the service was so great and the ambiance of the restaurant is so cool! Love this place.
The $50 menu (person) is perfect to share between 8 people at least. Food was delicious and servers were very friendly
Excellent service. Our server suggested items to share. Bbq skewers were nice and juicy. Tuna ceviche was so good. Had two mains to share which were also great. Finished with tres leches. Very nice Peruvian flavors. Well done.
Food was great. We got what the waiter suggested and we were happy with our selections. The food was well balanced and interesting without being too off the map. Everything was fresh and yeasty. Our cocktails were great and matched our food well.
I think its overrated. For the prices the quality is okay. Ive had better peruvian fusion food and better ceviche. I had read rave reviews and wanted to try it, but was dissapointed.
I felt robbed. Food and service was okay, but it does not justify the price they charge. We've dine to other Peruvian restaurants that may have been a little bit pricey - just a little bit! or comparable, and had a great experience. Also indicated that it was a special occasion but no one seems to care. This restaurant is a complete disappointment. Will never go back, and definitely not going to recommend to anyone.
Too much loud, so difficult to have a conversation, the service was slow, we wait between 40 min for the dishes...
The service was very young and inexperienced. They needed a person in charge to give direction.
Have been to Kay Pacha twice now and the food and staff do not disappoint. If you’ve never had Peruvian food this is the place to go and experience it. The combination of flavours is truly a beautiful dining experience. Will definitely be back again.
Great ceviche and cocktails
Food was not impressive in the least, ceviche was more corn but and black beans then fish, portions were very small.
Varied and innovative menu selection, excellent preparation and friendly service
