It was a nice quiet place to get a burger for lunch.
Thank you so much to the staff for making my post-retirement party so comfortable. It was excellent.
While the actual service of food to table was good the server acted like she had any number of better things to do than to simply stay and listen to our order. we tried twice to order drinks and finally got to when she came back with our appetizers. The apps were amazing but the main course was a joke. $18 for three slivers of corn beef which was so tuff and chewy that it made it more of a mouth workout than enjoying my meal. the broccolini was old and def wilted, whatever they called potatoes side was so full of oregano and Italian seasoning that I couldn't even stomach it. the drinks were great! they had no ac or wasn't running it properly because we sat and sweated while we tried to eat or food. I wouldn't ever go there again for anything other than drinks and apps. and for that I would only sit at the bar. I don't think the server ever smiled. I get being over worked but if you don't want to be there then don't come in.
Food and service were both good but nothing special. The haddock was a bit fishy but the burgers and sweet potato fries were delicious. Good place for a casual, reasonably priced meal with a nice selection of entrees.
It has been awhile since our last visit to Kegans. They still have a fun environment and the staff is great.
Had a great time, it was good to feel a little back to normal again!
It was vibrant and the food was amazing
Was there for drinks and music, had a great time, great service
Had dinner with a friend of mine there on a Thursday. Enjoyed immensely!
Food is always good. Menu isn't what it used to be due to covid, sad to see some of our favorites no longer offered. (Shecrab soup).
Service was terrible, no silverware to start. I was charged $20 per margarita that came in a rocker glass. 2 small drinks for $40 was outrageous. Limited menu was not advertised, so I could not even get a steak! Never again and I will not recommend!
Smoke from next door was evident. Noise level was high. Guess you need to know what you are getting into beforehand.
An aging bar/restaurant. Friendly staff. Food was excellent. Service was excellent, very friendly and efficient. A bit on the noisy side for us old folks. Would recommend this restaurant.
Relaxed atmosphere and servers are super friendly, accommodating and easy going. Food is good and consistent menu, true to an Irish bar. There are different seating sections, and views of TVs blend in without being overbearing. Location has lots of parking close by and steps from Town Center square.
If you're not worried about talking to your companions or dinner guests then you should enjoy this place. But don't go here if youre interested in an intimate pub setting. Its one big open noisy room
Great experience will go again
The reservation was meaningless. Hostess tried to seat us at a make shift table in non dining area. Ridiculous.
Burgers still the best in town, service was quick and timely, server could have been a little more engaging or personable but was attentive.
The baked haddock was excellent, as well as the onion rings. Service was very good and the price was very reasonable
We will return in the future.
We had a reservation via Open Table. The restaurant called me 30 min. prior to tell us that there was an issue w/ Open Table; they were not taking reservations- it is first come first serve. It was New Year’s Eve. The reservation was made weeks in advance. If they had let us know, earlier, we would have gotten a reservation at a different place. 30 min. notice was unacceptable; especially with an 8:00 reservation.
Would not honor reservation due to New Years Eve.Would not recommend!
Food and service was very good but I will never go back because I could smell cigarette smoke as soon as I walked in. I asked the hostess about it and she said they have a separate smoking bar. I requested and she sat us a the farthest table from the smoking bar and our group could still smell the smoke. Not acceptable. I wish the smoking bar had been mentioned on Keagan’s website. If it had I would’ve chosen a different restaurant.
Place still allows smoking and the whole restaurant stinks. We couldn’t stomach this and eat. Our server was great and understanding. We cashed out our drinks, tipped her well, and headed out.
Nice place with great food. Bartender was outstanding.
Went for a quick meal before going to a show at Sandler Center. Wife’s burger was good, but a bit thin on the bacon. My fish and chips had a VERY LARGE piece of fish. Very good but almost too much to eat comfortably.
Super experience! Our waitress Alaya was awesome and attentive. The food was cooked perfectly, and delicious as well. We had a super fun time. Will definitely be recommending Keagan’s to friends and family!
The restaurant smelled like cigarette smoke, the tables were sticky, the food was bland and the place was outdated.
had to ask the waitress to steady the table that was extremely rickety which the hostess, wait staff and manager should have already noticed by doing quality checks; overwhelming smell of cigar smoke despite the fact that it appears they have a ventilation system to try to suck it out; food was meh - I had the cheese balls, fish and chips and bread pudding; waitress did an excellent job; I will never return it recommend
My wife and I enjoyed Keagan's. We will return soon.
Unfortunately we sat in a booth and even though it was early enough in the evening we felt forgotten. The food was bland which is not typical of Irish food. We had to wait for a server, wait for our drinks, wait for requested water...it was a waiting game all evening. We don't plan on going back.
My boyfriend & I celebrated Valentine’s Day at Keegan’s because it is where we went on our first date. The service was great, we were seated in the corner & it was very private & quiet. The food wasn’t as good this time but we still had a good experience.
The service was mediocre. The environment was of a wanna be Irish pub. The food was inedible, and the coke was flat. I took one bite of my burger, we got our check and left. Horrible food!!!
Food was phenomenal, and our waitress was amazing.
Great ambience, and the staff was excellent!
It was a funny evening.
Between Keagan's and Murphy's... it's hard to decide which one to go too LOL... It's that Irish Pub feel! So we take turns between both of you. The service has always been amazing! We love the staff! And the food is awesome! We will be back... more celebrations coming! ;)
First time to visit this restaurant actually in my neighborhood! So much larger inside than I thought it be, friendly and the food was great! Gran had the Cottage Pie which she loved and the fish n chips was totally what my husband wanted and also enjoyed. I loved the Brussels sprouts shaved salad we all shared and I had a fantastic burger! We will be making this a new regular dining spot for us !
Visiting my son. Just out to dinner with my son and his friend. Service and food were excellent.
Food and services were wonderful will be back again.
Expected Irish music playing in the background, but no music was playing. Dull. We arrived at 8:15 pm on a Friday, and it was subdued. A band was setting up to start at 10 pm. We were seated in a closed off room, just two of us, with a few other tables filled
It was so dark I had to go to a light to read the drinks menu. Nice selection! Later I noticed it got a bit brighter, so someone must have asked for more light. Chelsea, our waitress, was SUPER. Replaced a decidedly warm red blend glass of wine that really tasted bad with a different wine, no charge for first glass..it was full when we returned it. Replaced my lukewarm to cold center crabcakes with hot ones. Pricey at $22 for 2 nice crabcakes with sauce and a couple spoons of corn and red flecks, just enough to mostly cover each cake. The plate was half empty. Normally expect one side at that price. Hubs' salmon was very good. Every now and then we'd hear an electronic noise .like testing volume from the band, but no music at all. We left about 930, and it was getting busier.
Good food, slow service, sticky tables.
