Yesterday was our Anniversary and I was looking for something different. Checking out my options on OpenTable led me Kevin's. I had been there in the past and was happy with the experience but it had changed owners since then.
When we arrived, we were promptly seated and provided waters. It did take a little time for our server to reach us but in todays world, we need to be understanding of the staff shortage. It gave us time to talk and admire our surroundings. The inside of the restaurant was well done with a very open feel to it. There was an outside area that had multiple tables and a area with a fire table.
When we were greeted, by our server, I found her demeanor to very pleasant and outgoing. She offered a explanation of a specials and then took our order. We started with the fried calamari which was done to perfection. For our main courses my wife had the Flat Iron steak, French fries and Sugar Snap Peas. I had the Grilled Chicken done in a light peanut sauce, Rice and Sugar Snap Peas. Both entrees were excellent. For Desert we opted for a Pumpkin Tart with Vanilla Ice Cream and a Chocolate Lava Cake. Both were delicious!
If you are in the mood for some adult time and looking for a place to go, look no further than Kevin's. You will not be disappointed.
The overall night was excellent. The outside tables are very nice to enjoy a quieter atmosphere. The food was great and our server was excellent!
Food and drinks were great. Wife said the chicken was the best she’s had in years. I got the special: squid ink scallop ravioli, which wasn’t great. But the appetizers of shrimp and claws was very good! I’m willing to give them another try because I got the sense My dish fail was a one off occurrence. Service was top notch and the manager was hustling! He’s the man. Also the crème brûlée was delicious.
Great place for a date or evening with friends. Attentive yet not overwhelming wait staff. Nice spacing between courses so you don't feel rushed. Great evening out and away from the kids.
Everything was amazing. Also love the people who work here. It was so nice to be back.
While my husband and I visit Kevin‘s regularly, for a good reason of course, this time we decided to do a tableside Cesar and several appetizers instead of entrees. This was of course another success!! The manager Bill does the tableside Cesar and you can tell he is an old hand at this, it was perfectly dressed with fresh ingredients and the portion was perfect for our intention. Are other appetizers including my husband‘s oysters were also on point. Of course we will go back!
I came in for dinner with my 5 year old son and husband. They offered chicken fingers for children and when my sons chicken was served to him it was raw inside. They were quick to apologize for it and brought out a better batch. Then my food came out, I ordered the filet medium and what I received was a steak that must’ve touched the grill for 1 minute and nothing more. It was completely raw inside and instead of complaining since we already had one huge problem happen,I just saved it to cook it longer at home. I would expect much more for a $140 meal, meaning everything be fully cooked. I have eaten in many high end restaurants before and this one definitely disappointed. My server was excellent though.

Everything was just absolutely classy... from the moment we were greeted and taken to our table until we finished our dessert. Our server (Gabrielle), the runners and the manager (Michael) frequently went above and beyond to make our experience perfect. Food proportions were appropriate, salads were chilled and entrees were temperature perfect. Just an overall great night out with my wife. Thank you everyone at Kevin's!
Kevin’s was a wonderful experience. The moment we walked in, the staff made us feel special without a pretentious feeling. The food was so flavorful and the menu was diverse. Excellent atmosphere and an overall great time.
Kevin’s is always a wonderful experience. Their menu is diverse and their specials are unique. Drinks are fun and creative too! Bill the manager is so attentive as are the wait staff. This place is in our regular rotation.

French onion soup was excellent - not too salty. Shrimp and crab claws were delicious. The fresh pasta should not be missed - particularly the pasta with shrimp, scallops and sun dried tomatoes - hum hum! All pasta and desserts are made on site - so come hungry! Great thing is they are open Monday's. Definitely a keeper.

Great evening. It was my wife and I's anniversary so I set up a charcuterie board and champagne to greet our party. Service was great all night, though once drinks were a little late in arriving. All in all a great night. The Frenchtoast bread pudding was outstanding.
Never a bad meal. Order the table side Caesar salad. Fantastic. Steak is awesome, seafood is great. Love the shrimp cocktail. Desserts are fantastic. Drinks are never empty. COVID restrictions are in full force and cleanliness is top notch.
Service started a little bump
First time under the new management. Outstanding food. The crab cocktail was the best. Veal special melted in your mouth. The wine list is a great value - no doubt due to the Manager Bill being a wine expert. You can not go wrong with anything he selects or recommends.

Kevin’s was so good and well priced for the quality of the food. The service was quick and we didn’t have to wait on anything. The entire building has an industrial look and it’s super nice. Will definitely go back!

definitely one of the top restaurants in the Scranton-WB-Hazleton area and beyond! Great cocktail list, warm interior setting, unique (but not try-hard exotic) menu with great variety of choices. Servings could be slightly larger. Staff attentive, knowledgable.

Kevin's has long been a go-to local restaurant for our family. The recent improvements to both the atmosphere and the new menu has made a positive difference. The servers are always friendly as well as knowledgeable and are great at their job!
The best beef filet in the area. Prepared perfectly and very very tender. Great place, great personnel.
Great people, great food
We had a 6pm res that was for a bday dinner, we did not get our salad until 7:20 the offering of table side salad is wonderful but clearly there are times when this should not be offered as he kept running back & forth to the bar to wipe sweat & fix his glasses, this was very disturbing to the guests who had never been there before & not a mention of the guests birthday. Just an off night I’m sure but we left at 8:30 not the best service for a Tuesday night.

Booked reservation thru Open Table w/ only 3 choices latest being 5:30. Arrived 5:40 place practically empty?? Peach sangria a little too sweet. Calamari Cod special & creme brûlée excellent. Server average

My first time there.The food was very good but we waited an hour and a half for the entree.Hope it was just a glitch
Ordered chicken Marsala. One piece of chicken was boiled with no seasoning and the other had seasoning. Chicken was over cooked and over linguine. Marsala sauce was so heavily diluted it was essentially discolored and flavorless water. The dinner was swimming in it. When we commented the server noted that it looked wrong when they served it. No one should have let it out of the kitchen much less served it. It was boiled chicken and pasta in water.
They brought me a new plate of linguine with marinara sauce (what I asked for as a replacement.) Marinara Sauce was old and over cooked.
My guest had meatball appetizer as dinner. Meatballs were cold.
Place was empty and service took forever.
This place used to be good but it’s off our list.
