   Perfection. From the warm and attentive service, to the food presentation and flavor, to the overall feeling of enjoying a meal here with family and friends: I cannot give enough praise to the excellence of Khan Saab. We had a large party to celebrate a birthday and out of town family visiting. Everyone is still talking about the unique flavors of the Pakistani / Afghan cuisine. Also, the service was impeccable. Our waitress Sara led a seamless, efficient, and attentive team. This place deserves every award and accolade that it has earned over the past few years. It was my family's third time there, and we eagerly look forward to our next visit.

   Weekends, there’s always a line to get in and it’s no surprise why: the food is fragrant, flavourful and delicious. From the apps (pani puri) to dessert (rasmali), and everything in between, you can’t go wrong.

   This food was flavorful and unique in Fullerton. The food quality was very fine, and the drinks were excellent. Many of the menu items were so varied and well-presented. Favorites were the beef kabob and the chickpeas with fry bread. The service was attentive and the place was abuzz with families and friends sharing a meal. Dessert needs work. Felt bad for the outdoor tables adjacent to the parking garage. We will definitely be back.

   A nice neighborhood gem. We shared our dishes and each was full of flavour. A very nice blend of the three regions. The staff we’re helping with making choices and generally attentive. Left very satisfied with our experience.

   This was our second time here and it was amazing! Our server, Raza, was so nice and remembers us. His recommendations were spot on!! We will be back! Reservations highly recommended. It was packed.

    This restaurant never fails to impress with it's wonderful food. We both had the butter chicken, which is just delicious. Our server was attentive and efficient. The best restaurant for Indian food that I've been to and one of the few offering butter chicken, my favorite item on their menu. Oh, and the tumeric tea is absolutely amazing. Very comforting on a cold, rainy evening.

    Our waiter Ravi? Could not hear clearly, but our waiter on 11Mar23 was the young shorter and stocky man who had a very good smile and friendly attitude and he was friendly to explain any question we had on the presentation of entree dishes in round metal containers. He represented the restaurant ambience very well and was welcoming in his customer service. It would have helped customers if you have a big welcome sign on the entrance door nearest the garage parking so customers do not need to walk around the commonwealth street side entrance /exit doorway. It was nice that Khan Saab Desi participated in the Orange County Restaurant Week offering with special combination prices.

    Business meal for 6 of us while attending the natural products expo show. Fantastic curries, we had biryani, sheekh kebab and so many tasty delights. 10/10 would come again. Note: it wasn’t an issue for us but this is an Alcohol-free restaurant. They have a delightful mock tail menu which we enjoyed, but sadly no booze. Be advised!

    The food was delicious and well prepared and presented. The young waitress was knowledgeable and helpful in describing the Indian dishes and recommending a very appropriate non-alcoholic "mocktail" that pared very well with my meal. I plan to return, and to bring one of my nephews, who is planning a visit, and also friends who would appreciate this cuisine.

    I went near the last hour, so don't rely on me for noise level. I think it can get busy during the peak hours. I ordered the lamb roganjosh and it was very good. I don't eat wheat, and the waiter accomodated me, which I thought was very nice. The appetizer and dessert were very good - forgot their names. It's a higher-end ambiance than most Indian restaurants.

    Phenomenal food! Great selection of dishes, including vegetarian and vegan. Tables are close together and it’s a little loud. They do not serve alcohol but their mocktails and non alcoholic beer and wine options are very good.

    They had a special menu for Valentines day, the regular ala carte menu was not available. The Mocktails were pretty abysmal. The special menu (vegetarian options) were below average in taste. The poached pear was probably the worst thing on the menu. Ambiance was great, the wait staff were pretty good too. Word of advice, if you are planning a special menu, in the weeks leading up to it, give them as complimentary samples to regulars diners, get feedback, adjust before you create a special menu, or stick to your top selling items and feature them in a special menu.

    First off, this was a review of the Valentine’s Day meal. I think it fell apart as no mention of prix fixe menu on reservation sites. I watched 2 groups get up and leave after sitting down, and group next to us complain about it. Beyond that it was a little expensive for what you would normally expect, especially if you didn’t know in advance. That being said the flavors were excellent and well planned out. Stand out was the lamb dish, and I don’t care for lamb. The service and ambiance was excellent. Staff was very attentive and tried to make it an experience for a special evening, even if it was just a dinner for my family. Overall great restaurant, other than minor snafu on prix fixe menu. Would definitely recommend.

    We chose khan for our wedding party as some of the family were Jewish and some Muslim. The menu catered to our needs in between vegetarian, meat and no pork, of course. The staff and atmosphere was truly charming. And I am very happy with my choice of the restaurant. Highly recommend

    Dishes were tasty, but we had trouble seeing the menu since the light was so dim. We also would have preferred having alcohol with our meal, but respect the decision not to serve it.

    A very nice restaurant to try out some famous desi dishes with a twist. However, there are not many vegetarian options. As a vegetarian I recommend Paneer Tikka, Paneer Kadhai (upon request, in the menu as Chicken Kadhai) and Dal Bukhara. The Dal Bukhara was very authentic and the Paneer Kadhai was just different and lovely. The service at the restaurant is amazing (kudos to Hadi), very polite, sweet, accommodating and quick. Do try the Chai Cutting to tie the bow on the amazing meal that you will have here.

    The food was AMAZING! This will be our new go to for Indian/Paki food! The thing I loved most is that the spices were aloud to come through..Not in the form of heat, but in flavor. The sauces were so good that we considered licking the bowl! Service is FANTASTIC! Recommend a reservation especially at night because this is the place to go in OC!!

    This restaurant is our go-to place for our family gathering. The food is always consistent, service is top notch and ambience is nice. It can get a bit loud so if you want a nice, quiet dinner .. this is not for you. We’ve never been disappointed with the food, and we almost always order the same thing. You can’t go wrong with the butter chicken, garlic naan and chicken karaahi. The chicken briyani is one of the best I’ve tasted so far. Today we ordered extra - Dal Lala Mussa, Tandoor Jingha and Pomegranate Bhel Puri and they are all delicious! And as always, we ordered more than we could eat .. but the best part is, I know I’ll have something delicious for breakfast tomorrow!

    I had the khan biryani which was overly hot. Food is supposed to be flavorful not burn your insides. My wife had lamb chops. Nothing else came with it. Dry , tough and tasteless. Something should accompany meat like some greens. Don’t plan on going again.

    If you want authentic Pakistani flavors this place has some dishes that will transport you back to Pakistan. Highly recommend the pani puri (it’s the best I’ve had in the US), the falsa drink and the dal (biryani wasn’t all that though). Also really appreciate the extensive non-alcoholic drinks menu with a delectable variety of craft drinks -thank you for understanding that non-alcoholic drinkers also enjoy having a good variety to choose from!
