Friendly, professional staffs with good food. It was actually birthday celebration for my daughter. I placed a request when I did booking for a dessert with candle. It turned out Ikuta prepare a plate of dessert for 4 people with candle and a sparkling stick. Very nice presentation indeed. My daughter was so happy about it.
Btw, the ventilation is done very well there. I walked out the restaurant without any smell of smoke.

The mind blowing service and hospitality alone was well worth it! Incredible quality and flavor of the food. We ordered a few items a la carte and it was the perfect amount of food so as not to get overwhelmed with the richness of the meat. Definitely not stuffed, but satisfied! Loved all the other little touches of luxury dining, like the complimentary appetizer from the chef and the post-meal tea. Would recommend to anyone looking for a good spot to try kobe beef in japan for a special date night.

While I went alone, I can say Yakiniku Ikuta is best when with a group. However, it was still an outstanding experience alone. The servers were friendly, the food reasonably priced, and the cooking fun. I ordered the Kobe Sirloin, and the accompaniments for the steak were great. They also gave a small amuse bouche which was incredibly tasty. You know they use quality ingredients when a simple cherry tomato topped with a little salt has more flavor than an entire meal at a famires would have. I can't recommend this restaurant more highly.
Stop searching and book a reservation here. All you need to search for is a day and time that you could possibly make a reservation; we got lucky and found a day/time while we were in Tokyo to have dinner to celebrate my birthday. Kobe Beef Ikuta was the most amazing beef experience we have ever had. Likely since we had booked far enough ahead, we got a private room, and enjoyed every minute of it. Don't come unless you plan to spend some money, and plan to spend it on the Kobe beef selections. We chose the "Take" which came with four cuts of Kobe, and you can definitely tell a difference even between these four cuts. Or if you want to eat less but still have a great experience, just go for the top cuts and smaller portions a la carte. Our host provided menu suggestions to go along with it that all ended up perfect, plus he demonstrated how best to cook the meat and vegetables for the best taste. An awesome bottle of wine, a special occasion, and amazing Kobe beef made this an experience to remember!

Absolutely wonderful experience - the food, the atmosphere, and the service. The kobe beef menu was extensive, and you can cook it yourself at your table. The Yoyogi neighborhood is slightly off the beaten path (between the Shinjuku and Shibuya neighborhoods) but well worth the effort. You will enjoy an old world attention to detail in a new world environment and leave with a lasting memory. This is definitely a dinner to remember and to include in your itinerary while visiting Tokyo.
I don't often get the chance to enjoy full course yakiniku meals, so I rake advantage of every chance. This was definitely the best in a long time, the course was amazing and the meat was truly melt in your mouth good. All the staff speaks English, so even my friend visiting Japan had no problem ordering or interacting. Definitely worth the price.
Came here for my friends birthday. Had amazing host and server to help explain everything on the menu. We ran a bit late, because the name on google map was different. Search "Yakiniku Ikuta" and you should find it easily. They were still nice too accommodate us when we arrived. Love the Kobe and the Geisha Soy Sauce.
This dinner was for my wife birthday, so we decided to splurge a little bit. Everything was treated and delivered at it best. Nothing to to complain, only to complemented on the staffs fantastic secretive and knowledge. We definitely would recommend this to everyone if you want to experience high quality Kobe beef.

We had an absolutely amazing and wonderful night! The food was delicious, the service was outstanding, and the presentation and theatre helped round everything out. We had a set menu of Kobe Beef, mushrooms, and veggies. Everything was superb. Our table was well looked after for the evening and we felt very special. Highly recommended!
A wonderful restaurant just outside the hustle of central Tokyo. Is specializes in Kobe beef and the quality is first rate. Not only do they serve great meat, but also the accompaniments and side dishes are first rate. The service is very good (as usual in Tokyo). Finally the wine list is excellent and reasonably priced. Is you are going to have the world’s best beef, you really need a good glass of wine!
Obviously, it is not a cheap meal, but it is a wonderful splurge and a good intro to the wonders of Kobe beef. Worth it.
An amazing meal for our group of 6. The quality of the beef was truly outstanding as were the other dishes that we enjoyed. A very special experience.
Service was top notch and they were very accommodating for the non Japanese English speaker. It is pricy around, 37,000 yen for 1 person if you do a Kobe trio with a few sides and a beer or two. I have slightly better A5, the marbling was a little lite compared to some other A5 I have had, but still melt in your mouth.
Staff was very attentive, I’d definitely go back again to try more of their special cuts.
Amazing as always! Make it a point to stop by every time we are in Tokyo :) quality of beef is superb, a little on the pricey side but always worth the money! Highly recommended

Very polite and friendly, staff demonstrated grilling beef and what sauce to dip into. The Kobe beef is amazingly good, very pricey but definitely genuine and worth the money. The place is small so staff to customer ratio is high. Attentive and great conversation. They speak good English. I recommend it to beef lover!

We decided to take the tasting menu « The Best II », which was a very good choice for us to discover the Kobe Beef with fine parts. It was well presented and very tasty. The side dishes were very nice as well.
We had a really good time there and appreciated the calm of the place.
