The service was great so was the atmosphere. However it was the worst Kobe I have tried and I tried many. All the side dishes were pretty bad as well. Honestly it’s a tourist trap.
Lunch sets were amazing, especially the Kalbi-ju. Excellent value for such a great experience with unbelievable service. I almost felt bad for how low our bill was. My only regret was not trying the wagyu sukiyaki.
Great experience and the food was amazing. We had a great time, definetely going back when i return to tokyo.
We enjoy the meal! Awesome. The truly is the place to enjoy a reputable A5 Kobe Wagu beef. Exceptional service.
Muy buena calidad de los alimentos sin embargo las porciones podrían ser mayores pero es una buena manera elegante de tener una cena con buen ambiente y un servicio excepcional
We went to celebrate our honeymoon and the staff did absolutely everything to make our night special! The service was absolutely perfect! We took the beef kaiseki menu and it was a great way to taste beautiful seaonal flavours and of course the outstanding steak!
The beef was descent, but the ambiance was horrible and it felt like a tourist trap. Our hotel recommended it and we were very disappointed. I would recommend to find a more traditional place for Japanese beef.
Once in a lifetime experience. Excellent Kobe beef and cooked to perfection. All the entrees were well presented with finest seasonal ingredients. Worth a try on a special occasion.
1. Close to metro station
and easy to find
2. Service is excellent and
staff can speak well Eng and clear menu
3. Environment is good just a bit
noise another parties there but it is great all
The food was really bad for the price we paid . Didn’t enjoy it at all..
Very good dining experience at Kobe Beef Kaiseki 511. If you prefer leaner meat though, then this type of beef isn't for you as there is a lot of fat throughout. Good experience all round though.
We were looking to find a good restaurant in Tokyo to try the famed Kobe beef and 511 didn’t disappoint. We all skipped the starter and went straight for the a la Carte beef and in Particular the 200g Kobe Sirloin. All side dishes are extra (about £6 pet portion) and are very small . We also order a the lobster as a side which at £15 seemed s relative bargain. The lobster is quite small but excellent so we’ll worth a try . The steak was everything you would imagine , very succulent and marbled with flavour. We shared a bottle of house champagne and one of us had a dessert with the total bill coming in at about £260 per head.
Everything about this restaurant was great, the food, service, ambience. Highly recommend the Japanese Kaiseki course.
Great food, outstanding service, a bit pricey but the experience was amazing.
Very good restaurant for A5 Wagyu. Quiet restaurant with a sleek modern interior, quite good (young) wine list, food is thoughtfully prepared. Service is not quite as attentive as it should be for the expense, bring your wallet.
We went here when on our honeymoon in Tokyo. We had the Kobe Beef Steak Dinner Course for 17500Y which was worth every yen. All parts of the 5-course dinner were really good, beautifully plated and the Kobe Beef was as amazing as expected. With a loss of other explanations the meat really "melted" in your mouth. The staff was the most courteous, friendly and proffessional both of us have had the luck to be catered by. We have been to a few different Michelin Star-restaurants both home in Stockholm and in other countries but we were still totally blown away by the service, food, attention to detail and ambience of this place. If in Tokyo it's well worth a visit!
Very nice and attentive Service. Food was nicely plated and delicious. Relaxing atmosphere.
Awful food. Looked nice, but the flavours were horrible. The kobe beef steak was ok, but the kobe beef in the other dishes was overcooked. Seemed like they boiled it. The first three dishes were too cold, like they had taken it out directly from the refrigerator. We paid 20000 yen each, but I've had better meals at Seven Eleven.
Exceptional restaurant. The food has lived up to be to everything I expected. Kobe sirloin steak was an absolute showstopper, it will be very difficult to go back to eating European quality steak!
We enjoyed eating at Kobe Beef Kaiseki 511. Prices for lunch are afordable and the food is of good quality. It was quiet, not much people for lunch break.
Very good quality kobe steak , modern , very clean
Dishes were great and greatly explained by the staff, who was incredibly helpful along the meal and everything.
This was my second visit to Kobe Beef Kaiseki. The food is fantastic, a very good mix of modern/creative and traditional. The service was excellent. The staff were friendly and attentive.
As a general note the experience was not as expected. Service was very good and as paid for ,however the food was way below than what was expected. Perhaps the experience downgraded even more because we have selected the japanese style set menu.I do not recommend visiting it.
L’ambiente e il servizio molto gradevoli il manzo do Kobe molto buono ma il prezzo é assolutamente inaccettabile.
Soooo good and well worth the money. Staff is obviously Japanese but very patient and will attempt to communicate in English as much as possible...like the rest of Tokyo. Food was everything I needed...over pay for in America for and more!
If you are worried about the price, go for the lunch sitting.
It was a nice place with nice meal, even though a bit pricey, but service was good.
We were on a 2-week holiday in Japan and booked this restaurant ahead of our arrival in Tokyo.A superb dining experience. We had the Japanese style Kobe beef Kaiseki dinner set and it was amazing from the start to the end, from the detailed presentation to the taste! It was truly a journey of culinary tasting where every dish had its own ‘story’ to tell. We upgraded our Kobe beef to the ‘precious’ (premium) cut and it was well worth it. We were looked after by Sasaki-san who was knowledgeable with the ingredients that go into each and every dish. Will definitely come back next time we’re in Tokyo and the restaurant is highly recommended.
Best steak I have ever had! Nice place and nice service.
The food was delicious, and the staff were amazing. As you walk in everyone greets you and you are taken to your table. The restaurant is quiet with a modern atmosphere. There are several courses to choose from. My friend and I got the traditional Japanese course and the Western course. Even though my friend is very picky she ate everything and enjoyed it. The servers explained the food in detail and gave you tips on the best way to eat it. They also lent us umbrellas as we were leaving as it was raining and we had none. All in all, it was incredible food and great service.
Kobe Beef Kaiseki 511 was wonderful. The best steak I have ever had. Great service, attention to the customer and pride in their craft. If you are in Tokyo and want to try Kobe Beef, this is the place. Outstanding.
It was terrible
Overpriced. Felt rushed even though the restaurant was empty. definitely a tourist trap from reading previous reviews that say it is fantastic. Was not worth it. There are so many better Kobe places in Tokyo than this overpriced one.
Dishes tasteless. Kobe beef was overcooked and chewy. Beef jerky was very good though.
Very good service and unforgettable delicious kobe beef taste. Highly recommended to try the kobe course it’s worth every single penny. Cold dish is just does not suit my taste overall is pretty good.
Lunchtime reservation, staff was attentive, atmosphere was subdued and upscale. We were attracted by their (reasonably priced) lunch menu. We visited on our last day in Tokyo, to check off our bucket list of experiences not to miss while in Japan. We were pleasantly surprised!
I ordered the very expensive kobe steak and was overwhelmed by the taste, so tender and delicious! Despite the lunch specials, which my children enjoyed, I couldn’t resist ordering their premium steak chef’s specialty. I was so glad I did, savoring every last bite of this meal.
Their kobe steak was definitely worth the splurge! The chef was also kind enough to whip up a seafood dish (not on their lunch menu) for a vegetarian in our group. This was a meal to remember, but I would recommend this restaurant at lunchtime if you don’t want to break the bank.
Kobe Beef Kaiseki 511 was an amazing experience and one of the most unforgettable moments of our holiday
Went there for a belated birthday celebration and it definitely did not disappoint. We had the Summer Menu Set Course and enjoyed every bit of it. The service was impeccable and the lady who looked after us really impressed us with her knowledge of the ingredients and the menu being served. It was a joyful and fun experience! I would definitely come back again on my next trip!
Fantastic experience, service was excellent along with the food. Would come back again!
