Food and service were exceptional. Social distanced and felt comfortable with the number of parties in the restaurant.

Kurts is by far my favorite restaurant. They have such great variety, I have a hard time deciding what to get. Great specials each week as well. The mussels are always a great appetizer!

The strip steaks were good but weren’t seared on the sides as the fat was white. The mussels were great!

Just what we were looking for: Outstanding German cuisine. Bruce, our waiter, did a fantastic job. This was our first visit, we drove an hour because of the online reviews. It was more than worth it. Had drinks, wine, beer, Jaeger Schnitzel, Kurt's Special, potato cakes, Riesling sauerkraut, and apple strudel. Everything tasted fantastic. Our daughter's in-laws own and operate a restaurant in Riedlingen, Germany. The food was as good or better than what we have had when visiting. We left very happy with the food, value and service. We will be back!!!

We ate at Kurt’s for an after Christmas dinner with family. My mother-in-law is from Germany and she thought the food was very good and enjoyed how the atmosphere reminded her of home. We have not been to Kurt’s for years (since the old location) and we were not disappointed. My husband and I would like to return again soon for a date night. This is definitely a place for special occasions as many of the entrees are higher priced.

We did experience some noise from a crying child, but the parent quickly took care of the disruption.

We love Kurts! My favorites are the cheese fondue, potato soup, shrimp and scallops, and the Edelweiss Beef Filet. Seriously everything is yummy!

Christmas Eve dinner was wonderful at kurts, the taste, presentation and proportion of food was fantastic!

As always a wonderful meal with family and a friend. We enjoyed the classic wiener schnitzel, grilled mountain trout, steak and fritz and for dessert, créeme brûlée’s along with the drunken mousse cake. Absolutely wonderful, thanks Chef Alex !

Excellent as always. We often go here on special occasions. Food is top notch. Potato pancakes are very good. Steak was so tender and had great flavor. We usually get the Bananas Foster for dessert; made right at your table, but server told us they were not making those due to COVID. No worries, there are plenty of other great desserts. We had the bread pudding and were not disappointed.

As always, Kurts delivers one of the best experiences around. Kurts goes out of their way to make sure everything is to your liking and even accommodates special requests. We’ve been dining with Kurts for 14 years now and have never had a bad experience. It’s great!

My Husband and I enjoyed Kurt’s. Last year at this time we were in Berlin and Kurt’s reminded us of the charming traditional German restaurants. The food and wait staff were both wonderful. This was a great find, right here in Duluth. LOVED IT!

Had thanksgiving brunch at Kurts. It was delicious! Service was excellent. Staff helpful and very nice. All Covid protocol was followed. They had a buffet and it was done correctly, with servers dishing food onto plate. Not customers serving themselves. Thanks Kurt and staff for a lovely and yummy Thanksgiving meal.

Owner/Chef Alexander and Server Chris (Kirsten) were very welcoming and personable from the moment we entered the restaurant until we left. We have been visiting Kurt's since before the relocation and have always enjoyed the food and service. My wife's favorite every time we go there is the Sauerbraten. I always try something different and have never been less than pleased. Unfortunately, we live a distance away and are not able to go there as often as we would like.

We were seated promptly. Service was great. Food was delicious.

Kurts has never disappointed whether ordering weinerschnitzel or twin lobster tails. Food is always prepared to perfection. Nice beer and wine selection, too. Had the mousse cake for dessert. Perfect size and delicious flavors. Go!!

Dinner was great. The Snack Board has a variety of meats and cheeses. The Snack Board was more than enough for two people. The Weinerschnitzel was very good. The Weinerschnitzel is the best dinner Kurt's makes. The Goulash was just enough to have after the Snack Board. Apple Strudel with vanilla icecream.

This is a great German restaurant. The food is excellent and the ambience is very nice. We have enjoyed eating at Kurt's for years. We celebrated my wife's birthday and although they did not mention is specifically, they treated us very well and gave us a lot of attention.

Started with the fondue for 2 and potato pancake appetizer. Both as expected. Good flavor and ample quantity for the two of us. Reasonable selection of wines and bar selections.

Excellent Bavarian selections, but also great variety of seafood and beef. Wife had the Kurt’s favorite—goulash over noodles. Was very flavorful and filling. I had the bone-in ribeye. I must say, and I’ve had steaks at most of the high-end steak restaurants in Atlanta, that this ribeye competes with Atlanta’s best. Flavor excellent. Medium rare was actually medium rare. And very tender meat. The red cabbage was the perfect combination of sweet and tart.

Dessert was streusel and bread pudding. Streusel was flaky and crisp and spectacular. The bread pudding was a bit plain, but still very enjoyable.

Atmosphere fine for a strip mall setting. No valet or grand entry, but for the food quality I don’t need those amenities. Parking was not a problem.

This is surely a “do again” surprise that I have driven past innumerable times. It looks more like a bar than the nice restaurant that it is. You must try it.

This was such a treat! The food was exceptional and our server was helpful, attentive and so enthusiastic! We hadn't been to Kurt's in awhile and will rectify that right away! We had forgotten how good the food is.

We sat outside on the patio with plastic sides. There is also a completely open patio as well as inside dining. The evening was pleasant and the food wonderful. My husband had the special Octoberfest platter with Fleischkase (type of meatloaf) and sausage with cabbage and potatoes. I had the Spaetzle with bacon, Emmenthaler, and mushrooms. We finished with the apple strudel with ice cream - yum!

Highly recommend this restaurant!

We have talked about going to Kurts for years, we finally did it and it was so worth it. Wish we had gone sooner. Everything tasted fresh and authentic. Our waitress was great, took great care of us. Cannot wait to go back! Get a pretzel, you won't be disappointed.

Kurt's offers genuine German cuisine and has been our favorite restaurant for more than a decade. They have great German beers on draft and an extensive wine list for all price ranges.

Great evening, food was delicious and the bread pudding was over the top!
