Le Belvedere

Great food with the exception that the asparagus had a burnt flavor and the duck was over done.

Great new menu with four beef choices, along with shank of lamb and numerous seafood items . Two of us had the fillet, cooked to perfection, one had the lamb and it was a huge shank. The fourth in our party had the scallops. Its a nice quiet restaurant with a great view looking North out at Lake Memphremagog.
Its one of the many great thinks about the NEK.
Cant wait to trey out some of their other dishes.

We have been to Le Belvedere a few times and found the service to be extremely slow. The food is always on point, delicious, and well prepared, you just cannot be in any kind of hurry. Our last dinner we had a party of 7, were seated quickly on arrival. It was 730 and there were 3 other tables already seated. There were 3 wait staff for now 4 tables and a total of 16 diners. It was 8 minutes for a server to take drink orders. Water came in 20 minutes after we asked. Drinks followed, so there was almost 20 minutes after drink orders until they came. It was another 20 minutes to place good orders and it took about 30 minutes for appetizers to come out. We ordered a second round of drinks while waiting, again had to ask for water to be refilled. We began our experience at 740 and dinner came 910, so we didn't leave until after 10. Again, wonderful good and we will come again, but SUPER slow, and you have to ask for everything rather than things just being done more timely.

Gorgeous location on the lake makes you feel like you are a holiday. We always have our special celebrations there. Excellent food at various prices for a casual dinner to a very special gourmet entree for an anniversary romantic meal.

Something for everyone on the menu. We were a party of 10... everyone left very satisfied with their selections.

Had the best hamburger and French fries of the summer, maybe ever! Was there with family who all had different entrees. Everyone was totally pleased with and enjoyed every bite.

Lovely location, excellent service, fantastic food.

As always the food was excellent- we had filet mignon and a seafood dish with lobster, shrimp and scallops. Attentive waiter, quiet room even though it was full, and an incredible sunset over the lake.
We come a couple of times per year and never had a bad meal. Keep up the good work.

The view, food and service was outstanding. We have been here many times before and have never been disappointed. The escargot appetizer is especially outstanding. Thanks for another great evening!

The service was really behind and we had to wait long period of time between appetizers and main course. Only 2 servers were on duty behind the bar and working the dining hall. Not a great experience considering how far we drove to eat there.

Visited two nights in a row...Thursday for Sushi at a table for two and Friday with a group of seven. I was amazed at how different the food was prepared each night and how great it was. We all enjoyed our dinners and will definitely return again!

We were one of the first ones in the restaurant and it took over an hour and a half to receive or appetizers. They no longer had any gluten free bread or gluten free soy sauce. Our server did a great job trying to take care of us. The food was very good when it finally arrived. We were disappointed to have not received the quality dining experience that we were used to here. We brought our friends here for the first time and they will likely not return.

Food was great! Service was good, but since we were the only customers in the room, our young server could’ve been a little more attentive. If we had not waited a bit after we finished our entrees, we might’ve ordered dessert. Drinks were good, but martinis should be served in a chilled glass!

We were there for sushi night. The bread and vinegar and oil... awesome... la belvedere is probably a great place just not for sushi.. steak next time we go there.

We also have a great time at Le Belvedere! The food is exquisite and the atmosphere is wonderful!

We had a great time, with awesome food, great service. Was a little expensive. But overall had a great evening.

Delicious food, we came on Sushi night (Thursday). Wonderful service, fantastic ambience, terrific view.

It was great.... but there was a Xmas party going on, so we were seated in the lounge. Lousy chairs to be having dinner in..... Oh well.... It was still a good experience for my birthday.

Two entries ordered medium rare were served closer to medium.

My husband and I enjoyed a relaxing and delicious dinner at Le Belvedere last week. The atmosphere is comfortable and quiet enough so we could have conversation without speaking loudly, but it is not so quiet that you feel everyone is listening. The food was well prepared. My duck breast was rare, as requested and my husband’s fettuccine with snails was not peppered as he requested. I am always pleased when a chef prepares food to the taste of his customers rather than how he believes we should like it. The service was perfect. I would recommend this restaurant highly.

Entree's were excellent. Salad was missing dressing (large cashew maple). Service was way too slow, as staff said they were not expecting so many people, after having only four reservations (one of which was ours). We go only a couple of times annually and this is the first time the service was unsatisfactory, as it relates to timing of all courses in our meal. I almost felt forced to tip well due to the great entree's, and did not want to 'short' the chef his/her due. Waitress was nice, but seemingly overwhelmed.
It was our 33rd wedding anniversary and disappointed that it was completely overshadowed by the slow service. May not return

Arguably the finest restaurant in the Northeast Kingdom. Right on the lake. Wonderful outdoor dining, in season, as the sun sets. The sushi is superb. And the service is attentive and considerate.

This place does it all and gets it right. A great menu makes it hard to choose, but whatever you get is simply delicious. Service was pleasant and friendly. The restaurant was doing a good business and our party of four enjoyed everything from appetizers, mains, and dessert. Even the coffee was perfect served in a tall glass mug. This restaurant made a great trip to the Northeast Kingdom even more memorable. We will put this on our list for our next VT adventure.

Food has been much better in the past. Risotto and pasta were sorely undercooked. Drinks were great.

This was our second trip here. Both visits found great food and service. Highly recommend.

Le Belvedere is one of my favorites. Love the setting, love the food, it's becoming my birthday tradition. We'd come more often if we lived closer!

Spectacular lake view and a nice menu make this worthwhile to go out of your way for a special meal with friends or family. Easy parking also helps.
