We ate here on 30 DEC 2022, reservations for 19:00. We were seated immediately despite the restaurant stating our reservation wasn’t until 19:30 - it was nice not to argue it. Service was about as fast/attentive as expected given the nature of the restaurant. Food was lacking top to bottom, from the bread (don’t bother eating it or filling up) to the main course. We shared white beans as an appetizer- very bland and needed salt/pepper. My wife had pasta which was over-salted, I had grilled octopus with potatoes which needed salt. Huh. Prices are high given portion sizes. It’s a place you eat at and want to grab McDonald’s on the way home. I wouldn’t recommend this spot, very much geared towards tourists and not in a good way. We have tastebuds and understand value too 😜

Great menu, everything was brought to us really quick and everything was delicious, we tried a bunch of different things and everything was really tasty. Would definetely come back.

We were looking for a place to eat that was open late after seeing the three tenors concert and we found La Bussola, just a short walk from where we were. Food was excellent as the wine and dessert. Looking forward to visiting again on our future visit to the beautiful city of Florence.

The room we were in was hot 🥵 but it is July. Would have given A+ if not for that. The Amatriciana was superb! Best ever! All the food was tasty

Large party of 12. Apps came at same time as meals. Some meals were forgotten… restaurant was hot and steaks were well done when ordered rare.

Service was a little slow to start, but picked up after we finally gave our drink orders. Food was good to very good and the wine list was solid. Definitely one of those like not love restaurants.

Nice atmosphere on the square (we had a table outside). Biscetta Fiorentine was really tender and juicy, cooked rare. I got a bruschetta with burrata and anchovies and it was really good as well as Tuscan pizza. I would recommend to try it when in Florence.

The food was absolutely fantastic. The menu was filled with expansive and excellent choices. The service was impeccable!! Elia, our server, was amazing and made the experience even that much better. We had a great time and will no doubt visit La Bussola again when we return to Florence.

We arrived 15 minutes early and were told that they did not have our reservation. No problem, though, as they had an extra table for us. The waiter was pleasant and attentive, despite it being Christmas eve. The menu options were varied and I was looking for some seafood (feast of the 7 fishes, maybe?) so I settled on some pasta with clams. While we enjoyed our appetizer and main course selections, the standout for us was the dessert - a trio of tiramisu - well worth the calories! Overall an enjoyable meal, pleasant atmosphere and outstanding dessert selection.
