La Casita

Very authentic and tasty Mexican food. Being from Southern California I have searched high and low for decent Mexican food in Manchester and La Casita offers it.

Recommended by a friend. And when I saw their was not an empty seat or was a great sign. The service was phenomenal and the food no different. I love my spice but my friends aren't a fan, but no matter La casita had exactly what we wanted. The atmosphere was lovely, smiling faces from the staff and all the customers.

Once again excellent , second time of visiting, cannot wait to return.

Another great visit to La Casita in Chorlton. The chili nachos starter should come with a size warning though - great for sharing but maybe a bit much just for yourself! Service really friendly and efficient too.

This is our local mexican restaurant. Been several times but on this occasion it was for my birthday. Went with 3 generations of my family. I love the genuine friendliness of the staff best. The food is tasty and good quality. Menu choices at different price points. Decor is nice and cheerfully bright.

Lots of meat options available for a veggie the standard veg fajitas.

First time here after reading countless good reviews...yes this place is as good as they say...great authentic food...great atmosphere, excellent service and friendly staff.
The frozen cocktails are something else!!...Mexican pulled pork tacos were real good....prawn tortillas with guacamole, salsa a garlic are not to be missed!
Pricing is more than reasonable..you could spend more on mass produced rubbish from a beefeater etc...
Highly recommend La Casita...it is certainly worth a visit if you wish to sample authentic Mexican food....we will be visiting regularly from now on......Get there!!!....

A wonderful meal! We had an extremely friendly welcome by the staff and were offered a choice of table. The food was excellent, creative and fun - and the frozen margaritas were perfect. We can’t wait to go back.

This place is consistently excellent. The food is amazing, the frozen margaritas are delicious and the staff are so friendly and welcoming. This my go to recommendation to anyone who wants to eat out in South Manchester

Fantastic food! It's difficult to find authentic Mexican food in Manchester so I was very pleased to have had such a nice meal. The staff are extremely attentive and make sure you have everything you need. The food was delicious, especially the nachos, and the barbecue pork. The frozen margaritas were delicious, but the margs on the rocks were too sour. If you don't like that, try the special on the rocks version, it's a little fruitier and sweeter. I will definitely be back.

We came back to La Casita a few weeks after our first visit, this time on a Sunday afternoon. We weren't disappointed - service was friendly, efficient and quick, and the food was authentic and delicious. The tacos al pastor in particular were great. A new favourite of mine!

We booked last minute online and it was an easy process. On arrival we were welcomed and seated immediately. The service was excellent, really friendly, couldn't fault it! Food was also very good, could have been a little bit hotter, but that is a minor quibble as the quality of the dishes was very good (and we were chatting nonstop, so it might have been our fault for not tucking in sooner!). Desserts were really yummy. I was pleasantly surprised by the bill, especially as we ordered the most expensive bottle of red wine and had 2.5 courses each! Excellent value for Manchester. I would definitely visit La Casita again!

A great little place for a small gathering to celebrate my 35th. Super tasty tacos, excellent service and the tequila wasn't bad either!!

Great local Mexican restaurant. Veggie and vegan options are available. Limited menu but for the size of the place it is very reasonable. Try the Aztec Soup it's refreshing and warming.
The staff are friendly, welcoming and also care about the food they are serving.
I will be returning soon.

All the food was really tasty, freshly prepared and the place has a great atmosphere

They started clearing up at 10pm despite being open until 1100. Chairs on tables. Disinfected the floor. No offer of coffee. Completely ignored us.

Every other restaurant on the block was buzzing at that time.

Pity. The food is not bad. The prices low. But it will be closed soon if the attitude to diners does not change.

Maybe ok early evening or at lunchtime. Not for a meal out.

Authentic, delicious Mexican food, lovely staff. Very reasonable prices. Small terrace to sit at outside.

First time we went after son's recommendation.Food was excellent.Host very helpful in choice of food and drink.But does get very busy booking ahead is a must.Only small niggle when door opens a cold blast hits you,but were moved to an acceptable table.A tweak on the door would be helpful.

Lovely new Mexican restaurant, dishes on the small side but authentic flavours. Good range of options on the menu, apart from no deserts, hence the 4 stars. Otherwise recommended.

A lovely small menu, authentic food reminiscent of what I ate in Mexico, no gloopy cheese or mounds of sour cream thankfully. Very nice staff who have good recommendations and chatted to us about the food.
