   Both of our entrees were good, although the gnoccci with my dish was tasteless. The main concern, however, was with our pre-meal drinks. It should be hard to mess up a gin and tonic, but the bar managed to do it, probably by using either soda instead of tonic, or the worst tonic we've ever tasted.

   We had a reservation for mother's day at 1PM. We arrived at 12:50 (ontime/early). First issue was even getting in the door as we had senior citizen mom in wheelchair and front door has steps so they send us to the Side Door. Their Ramp was a side door that butted up against a large table inside where another family just got food. The hostess made them all stand up so we can get by as there was not enough room For a Wheelchair. it was embarrassing. Then we get sat finally and they made us move due to being at 'wrong table'. The hostess had reservations messed up and needed 2 tables together for another large party. OK finally settled THEN we end up waiting almost 20 mins to get our orders taken and another 30 minutes to get food. We were there an hour before we eating w/ reservation and drama w/ being sat. The kicker is they were not swamped / busy but not slammed. No apologies for late meal nor on overall situation. I would not recommend them.

   HIDDEN GEM - I'm reluctant to share how amazing this quaint restaurant is but it would be wrong to keep it all to myself. Chef Jacques prepares amazing meals at a reasonable price. Great dining experience!!

   Quiet Friday evening, not too crowded. Pleasant restaurant, well prepared food, nice experience. We have traveled a lot in France, and would compare this to a Logis: a family -run restaurant. Very pleasant!

   Excellent appetizers and fish entree (ordered by 3 of the 4 of us). However, the Bavette steak ordered by the 4th of us was tough and ordinary. Otherwise, this is a pleasant, calm, and most enjoyable dining experience that we expect to return to again and again. I just wish they hadn't done away with the white tablecloths they used to have even at lunch.

    La Côte d’Or is worth the trip to Arlington. The menu has a lot of French classics and they are excellent. They have a good selection of appetizer and main dishes, and you have the option of having the 3 course menu or à la carte. Make sure to make a reservation!

    This venerable French-themed restaurant continues to offer excellent food and service at very reasonable prices compared to its snootier downtown competitors. From its outside appearance near I-66 and the Metro in Falls Church, it doesn't seem much like a regional restaurant in a small town in France. You have to go inside for that.

    So nice to enjoy a wonderful meal in an elegant yet reasonably priced restaurant, and be able to have a conversation without battling the noise level. Parking is easy, free and plentiful at the hotel next door. Gracious servers, no rush. Such a gem for any occasion or no special occasion. A+

    The appetizers and dessert were good. However the main course, we all selected the steak, was no better than what you would have eaten at Outback Steakhouse. We ordered from the Spring Fling set menu, so the one coffee and three desserts were add-ons. Atmosphere- old and tired looking. Not worth the $250 for three people.

    Enjoyed a wonderful quiche - rich and creamy with plenty of ham in the very generous slice. Wish we had known that the steak and FFF dish we ordered was a hamburger patty. While delicious we would have ordered something different.

    This was our first visit to Côte D’or. We took advantage of the prix fixe menu for Spring Fling. The menu for both the event, and every day is extensive and varied. Plating was beautiful, ingredients were fresh, and delicious flavors were very authentic! Loved it! Will be back!

    We ordered the "Spring Wine Fling" 2 course meal with 2 glasses of wine included. My request for a 'medium' temp steak came out very rare. The waiter insisted on taking it back when he noticed I wasn't going to eat it. He returned with the same piece of meat - microwaved to brown the edges. My date had scallops which were drowned in a pool of sauce. French place - prob has good wine, right? Wrong. The suggested cabernet was cheap and watery. Also, figured because Friday's are "Old Fashioned" night I'd get one of those. Bad idea. The drink was pink because it had way too much simple syrup and very little bourbon. Wait staff was super nice and courteous - the only high point. All very disappointing. I was really looking forward to going here. It seemed like a quaint little French bistro. It just failed on so many levels.

    It was fine, but be forewarned that prices shown on Open Table do not match the actual prices. They appear lower on line. Example: simple salad is $7.95 on line and $9.95 in the restaurant. I expected better value for money overall than there is.

    We went here for valentines dinner and it didn’t quite hit the mark. The strawberry dessert presentation looked like something 5 year old whipped together, the duck was really gamey and the ribeye was comparable to thickness of a flatiron steak. Staffs were really nice which is rare for French restaurant but the dishes weren’t quite amicable with our palate

    We were charmed by the ambience and the menu. The cassoulet was delicious as was the ribeye. Appetizers were less of a standout and desserts were mediocre (we ordered 3 different ones). The service was irregular. The owner was lovely. The server went missing for long stretches, maybe they were busy elsewhere in the restaurant. But water glasses were left empty and there were long gaps in service. Everyone was very nice, it was just not stellar service.

    First time dining here. Went because of the great Winter Restaurant Week menu. The food was delicious and we are already planning a return trip for dinner on one of the nights they offer a great Pre Fixe 3-course menu. So glad to have found this neighborhood ge. It is truly worth the drive from DC!
