La Favola

The service was amazing, one of the girls called me up beforehand just to confirm that it was okay if we were seated outside. We had a group of 8 and not all of us arrived on time, but they were very patient and pleasant.

Food was great, it came out quickly and was very tasty. We ordered 3 different types of creamy pastas and I was worried they’d all taste the same, but they had very distinct flavours.

Excellent atmosphere, definitely will come back.

Just like being in a side alley restaurant in Italy, food & atmosphere spot on..

It is often a great place to eat. Only this one evening, the two ladies serving did not seem to be interested in their jobs.

La Favola was a wonderful little restaurant, the food was excellent (cannot recommend their focaccia enough!) and the staff were lovely.

Food was fresh and delicious. Would definitely recommend.

Authentic Italian food and atmosphere, can’t be faulted. We’ll be back.

Great food, great service.
The restaurant is small but modern and very cozy.

It wasn’t as good as I hoped :( pretty interiors and yes pasta was fresh and tasty, but my spaghetti was overdone and so it was super soft.. also, we ordered 4 different pastas they all looked the exact same... To be honest, I’ve had better seafood pastas than the Dal Mare here :(
Burrata and bruschetta was delicious, but I suppose nothing extremely special?

Dinner was good, but not outstanding. The place is small and cosy, but also overpriced.

La Fabiola was easy to find. The menu had a great selection of flavours and the wait staff were extremely helpful and welcoming.

Delicious pasta, well made and cooked to perfection. There are kids sizes available for $10 which is not on their menu so you have to ask for it, personally, its only a little smaller than my adult sized main!

Exceptional food, very authentic flavours. Wine selections are perfectly appointed.
Seating is orientated to quick dining (stools and very small tables) to keep people moving through.

We regularly go to La Favola for an early dinner with our 3-year-old son and they are always so accommodating! It's now a favourite as our son will sit still for more than 5 minutes to finish his dinner (big food endorsement) and we can manage to enjoy quality Italian dining with a glass of good wine! Ask for the specials as they are actually 'special' and should definitely been tried. Our son now says 'Ciao' and asks for casarecce instead of spaghetti!

The food was great however the service not so much- got asked to order three times within 5 minutes of sitting down.

Food was excellent. Service was very good. Good atmosphere. Maybe a little loud/cramped, but I'm not complaining. Would highly recommend.

Really enjoyed the whole experience, service was very efficient. The sea food pasta and the pasta of the day which was spinach and ricotta raviolli were amazing.

The food was delicious, the service was quick and the price was reasonable. I enjoyed the ambience.

Food was tasty but specials were double the price of menu items.. $35 for a small plate of pasta is sneaky.. won’t go again.

I booked a table at 7pm and they didn't have one free for us for 25min. We were waiting outside in the cold.
The food is not authentic. My partner being Italian, he was not impressed. Not much flavour in the sauce.
The entree was nice, we had an antipasto.
Definitely not worth how much we pay for the pasta. Not going back.
Also the chairs are really not comfortable. They just use stools, not very suitable for older people.

Great place to dine! Great food and atmosphere. However, we had to wait half an hour for a table inside despite making a reservation in advance.

Amazing food and service, great dessert as well and nice spot

The food was great and came out very quickly. When I’d dined in doors I really enjoyed the experience, however, this time despite booking ahead we were put out on the street which was very noisy.
We arrived on time but the table before us was 15 minutes late leaving, we would not have minded going elsewhere for a drink to wait but we were told it would only be a few minutes. The staff only prompted them with the bill 10 minutes after we arrived.

An excellent experience food and service were top class..definitely going back..well done
