Food was absolutely delicious!!

Great food and wine options. Outdoor tables but toasty warm from overhead heat lamps

Made this reservation at 8pm for 9pm. Called the restaurant to make sure it was ok, because I work in the industry and know that last minute reservations sometimes are an issue. The host on the phone said it was totally fine and 9pm was their last seating. We got there and the server outside turned us away, said that the kitchen was closed, and that the reservation didn’t make a difference. Very disappointing experience.

Highly recommended! Their meatballs are a 10/10 and the pizza is delicious.

They scammed us on the wine pairing. My husband and I came to Eataly to celebrate our anniversary with a big hope to have a great experience, only to get a completely ruined dinner afterwards. Patio is crazy noisy , but hey, not their fault. Food was just ok, pasta overcooked and blend. But what was really upsetting that we both decided to try the week special with wine pairing. It was a pairing for a two course menu, but apparently this restaurant will charge you $15 for only one glass. Moreover, we discovered later during dinner that the same glass of wine cost $13 on the regular menu. When we pointed out this to our waiter he first pretended it was a different wine, and then admitted it was the same wine and said “too bad”. It is really disappointing seeing how such a big worldwide company making fools of their customers and even after being “caught” still don’t give a damn. Appalling.
We still tipped 20% but definitely not coming back.

Great to dine out again, a little street noise as we sat at a fairly busy intersection downtown, but food & service was fantastic and it was soooo nice to dine out !! Tables were spaced out generously so you felt very comfortable!!

I want you’re expecting really good food the portion sizes were very small especially for the price the menu was hard to understand and the food was disgusting actually I was highly disappointed because I was super excited to eat some quality Italian food basically we paid $20 for a piece of breaded chicken with lettuce on top and I also ordered ravioli which came in five pieces and I could only taste lemon nothing else it was hard to swallow they were out of almost every drink I asked for and the service was absolutely terrible The waitress was very weird about my requests for my food (she questioned why I wanted things done that way just tell me that I could have it but she wanted to know why which i found weird.. like just give me what i want don’t play 21 questions with me lol) And the hostess was even worse with her attitude I had a 4 o’clock reservation to which she gave someone else my table and made me wait… What is the point of a reservation exactly if you’re not going to honor it? Overall I will never be back I would’ve rather had Olive Garden at that point

good meal, mostly pasta, would prefer the add some Chicken/shrimp to the menu to add to some of the pasta dishes.

Food was ok, nothing special. I did enjoy shopping at Eataly and felt they offered a good variety of products.

Table was ready 20 mins after reserved date. We were seated in an empty area with many empty tables.

Was nice! Since it’s inside of a store the noise level is a bit odd and seating arrangements kind of are but service was solid and food was authentic

the service was great. Understandably, due to the pandemic, the ambience of the entire place has changed, so no blame to anyone there. Thought food was too salty and overpriced for the the overall amount and taste.. have had better Italian food all over the city.

I have always been a big fan of Eataly, but after this visit, I think I'm going to be done with it (as a restaurant) for a while. The Pizza/Pasta area was just...sad...and the service was awful. I don't want to be Covid-unfair, and I'll probably come back once restaurants are really back up to speed, but...for now...I'll enjoy Eataly for Italian groceries and wine.

Very simple pasta dishes but delicious and so memorable we ordered the exact same thing as last time. My only complaint is that my wine glass was dirty on the outside. In times of Covid, everything needs to be spotless to ease the customer's anxiety for those that are choosing to dine out.

Not our first time here--we LOVED David! What a GREAT server! So knowledgeable, and so agreeable to run downstairs and get our Gelato! HE's AMAZING. Ask for him, and have a pizza to start--every time. My friend wanted Bread, so I said let's get a pizza--fabulous! And we had the house made black pepper ravioli, which was just terrific, and the Tagliatelle with pork and beef ragu, which we can't miss, and all was just GREAT. Thank you for making our visit so special and personal for us. We'll be back. Linda

Well, we were there during a pandemic Sunday so it wasn't packed. We had an early lunch reservation and were shown to our table immediately. The service was excellent, the menu selection was sufficient and everyone at the table enjoyed their Sunday brunch. Would def return.

The food was decent but we expected a little less lighting and noise.

Best pasta since we visited Italy! We had Cacio e Pepe which was absolutely perfect, and Ravioli with pistachios that was also scrumptious. The Arugula salad was spot on, tangy and delicious, and we ordered a carafe of perfect Aperol Spritz. The Panna Cotta and Tiramisu were both heavenly. Our waiter, Erik, was super friendly and attentive, and made my birthday very special. Everything felt very safe, socially distanced and clean. Loved that even the silverware was in little paper bags. We’re going to go back again in a few days! It was that good!

This was my first Eataly experience. All 5 people in my group thought the dinner was awesome!! Pizza was the best!!!! We will definitely return when we return to Chicago.

The pizza was soggy and not that hot. The pasta was nothing special. The bruscetta, however, was really great. But with one appetizer, two entrees, and two glasses of wine, the bill came out to over 90 with tip which seemed outrageous for the quality of the food.

Staff were nice, and relatively attentive considering it was during COVID, but the food was definitely lacking.

They have the tables are very spread out to accomodate COVID-19 guidelines. The staff was very friendly and the food came out very quickly and was delicious.

Food was ok, but the menu was really limited and the setting was less than desirable. Overall maybe just not the right place for our family.

Amazing authentic Italian-passing pizzas made just like they do back home in Italy.

The premade vodka and orange cocktail was incredibly strong, even for a vodka drinker. The seasonal cucumber salad was outstanding as the was the pizza and pasta.

Good and service where great. Only thing the pizza and calzone was thin and soggy.

We enjoyed our meal so much. Food was excellent.

I was disappointed with the menu. It was much smaller than the menu shown here on open table. Not as many choices and my boyfriend and I didn’t like our pasta dishes. The pizza was good though

It was wonderful returning to eataly they took great care in following dining guidelines. The wait staff and food was excellent. Can’t wait to return again

The food and staff are amazing. Went to dinner with my husband and kids and it was great. They have an awesome kids menu (my son chose the heart-shaped pizza) and the environment is so friendly and welcoming.
