We were celebrating the anniversary of some special friends and chose to meet up at La Roca. We were greeted at the door with a warm smile and promptly seated. Our server, Devon, was extremely pleasant and became an enjoyable part of our experience at the restaurant. She shared several recommendations for drinks, appetizers & entres and we ended up ordering the majority of her suggestions. She was spot on. The meal was excellent; full of flavour, aroma, and texture. Suffice it to say that there weren't any leftovers lol. We are already talking about when we will go back!

La Roca's churros are the best! It is a nice spot to go after work. Between 4 - 6 pm is a good time to go if you are looking for a quieter nice outing with friends. Starts getting busy after 6 pm. Staff are friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable of the menu. The cooks present the food really well. Would recommend the nachos as the cooks layer it on and can be considered a meal in itself. Would go again and recommend to others.

Our food and drinks were delicious, and we experienced fantastic, friendly, and knowledgeable service from all team members! Only downside to our visit was when the live music started, it was overwhelmingly loud considering how early in the evening it was. Good performance just not exactly great for conversation while the restaurant was still in restaurant-mode instead of club-mode.

Very pushy service, interrupting all the time, doesn’t worth to spend time with someone there. They make sure that you start to leave after 1 hour… coming all the time with the repetitive question “Any deserts?” We were five and we just moved to another place since they really were making us feel that we need to leave. They had 90% of the tables empty and told us in the beginning that our table only had a reservation 3 hours and half later, after 1 hour they already start to push us to leave…

Food was great, drinks were great. I have Celiac and was disappointed to learn that they fry their nacho chips in the same fryer as everything else (e.g., flour tortillas), which contaminates them. I had the burrito bowl and it was delicious. Everyone in our group really enjoyed their food and drinks. We had a fabulous server, who checked with the chef about several food items to make sure I could have them or not. Noise level was OK - we were all able to hear each other. We will be back!

Our 2nd time to La Roca lower patio. Excellent service and really good prices. Food is delicious - orders included ceviche, taco chips with salsa, tableside guac, deep fried avocados and then the 3-taco special (grilled shrimp crispy fish and pastor). Beers were nice and cold. This was a Tuesday, from 5:30 to 7:30 pm.

Emily was amazing! She helped us with patience and genuine caring. You are lucky to have her as an employee and please thank her again for all her hard work and help. I am vegan and the options just are not there. With one dish - sweet potatoes tacos I was left unsatisfied and didn’t eat the meal. It’s time please to step up and have more humane food options for vegans and plant based diets. For the planet, for the animals and for our health. Thank you!

My husband and I both really thoroughly enjoyed trying this place out for our date night! Everything brought to the table was delicious (even something as simple as your guacamole was outstanding!!). The only issue we had was that the live music was a touch too loud. But we will definitely be back and we have already been singing praises to our friends who asked how it was.

This a second time our family stopped by for a dinner. We were received promptly and given options of seating; we chose outside. Food was great and timely delivered, service was professional and friendly and live music was a plus. We will be back.

Food was ok but had a very 'pre-made' feel tossed into bowls (Particularly the sides). Had crispy fish tacos which were so over done they were literally hard to bite into. Service was brutal. Had to get up to go ask waitress for service as she didnt come back to our seat after we got our food.

Server was fantastic but literally booked at this restaurant for the patio, and when we arrived, the patio was rented out to a private function. It was my moms birthday so it was disappointing. It would have been nice to be informed the patio was closed.

First time visit was fabulous. Rear ground floor patio made for comfortable conversation. Service was right on - attentive but not overbearing. Good selection for non-meat eaters on the menu. All the dishes were tasty, fresh and satisfying (Ceviche, Caesar salad, crispy shrimp tacos, grilled fish tacos, panko avocado). Mexican beers were 1/2 price - can't go wrong and served cold! Prices were palatable too. Will definitely be back.

Great atmosphere outside on the patio. We went on a Wednesday and they were serving half price margaritas. Food was excellent and everyone at the table had nothing bad to say. Great service as well. Will definitely be back

The hostesses & bartenders were rude, pushy, wanted to charge our DD for lemon water. The waitress came off badly but she warmed up as the night went on. The food was outstanding, and that’s the only reason I would ever go back, sadly. Very poor service.

Our server was excellent, and didn’t rush us out so we could enjoy our visit after our meal. Once we ordered, our food arrived within minutes…compliments to the kitchen staff on their speediness and yummy creations! The live music was amazing. So glad we chose La Roca for our girls dinner out!
