LaChance Winery, located at 6035 2nd Street, Kimmswick, MO. As part of this expansion, we’ve reintroduced The Old House Steakhouse, a local favorite nestled inside a beautifully preserved 18th-century log cabin—originally built in 1770, with additions in 1831, and relocated to its current site in 1978. Known to have hosted Ulysses S. Grant, the cabin now offers guests a unique dining experience featuring farm-to-table Americana cuisine, paired with LaChance wines and a rich sense of history. Whether you're stopping in for lunch, dinner, or a relaxed afternoon with friends and a glass of wine, we look forward to sharing our passion for great wine, food, and hospitality with you.

Food was great. Would definitely recommend the flatbread to anyone. The service was not worth the drive there. The server would not refill our water. Offered plates to share our flatbread but never brought them. We felt very forgotten about for most of our dining experience.

Food was amazing. I got the pork chop and it was cooked perfectly. Service was really good as well.

We have been going to LaChance for a few years now. Both locations. Always great service and great food! Strawberry sangria’s are fricken amazing!

Made a reservation for 6 on Father's Day and it turned out to be a perfect time to have dinner. The restaurant was not busy at all, and we received wonderful attention from our server. Everyone enjoyed their meals and the atmosphere was very nice. We will definitely return for future lunches and dinners here!

Great live music coupled with great food. The menu is diverse, and we haven’t tried it all, but we’ve had what we’ve had ,has been very good.

Our server Carson was great! He was friendly and accommodating. We sat outside on the patio with live music was a great night celebrating our Anniversary.

If you enjoy eating out and having an experience, this place is not for you. They were out of many menu items, however it wasn’t communicated until we were ordering. Upon sitting down, it took at least 10 minutes for someone to greet us and when they did they were ready for our order; no hello and welcome, no review of specials or what they were out of. We ordered drinks and appetizers, my son’s drink never came. It took another 20-30 minutes to even place our order, which is when we were told they were out of the very thing we came for, their Sunday special. Granted we were there 30 minutes after opening for dinner. Meanwhile regulars came in and received the very thing they were out of. Plus they got all the attention of the staff, we didn’t get any kindness at all. When I took my son to the restroom, I heard the kitchen remark that they hadn’t started our food. When I brought this up to the 4 staff just standing around, they said being out of food happens sometimes and they were understaffed. To me, poor planning on management and owners. I can generally empathize and understand, but it was such a disappointment that it’s not worth the effort trying again and being disappointed.

This was our first time dining at Lachance Winery since it changed its name. We were very disappointed in our meal. Ribeye was ordered medium and received, well done, which made the steak dry. String beans were cold and undercooked. We received our salad before our appetizer. We felt the meal was very pricey for what we received. Our server was excessively hyper and came in once in a while to check on us. Before we could answer if everything was alright, she was gone! Also, she got several things incorrect because she did not listen. She had one foot out the door!

Our food,waitress,and the atmosphere was superior to most restaurants that I have visited in the area. Planning on going again. Shelby,our waitress,was exceptional!
