We love Lagos Tacos and have been there dozens of times. However, since the pandemic their service has become chaotic. They have a line waiting to be sat, but have the same host running doordash orders, which seem to get priority over guests actually waiting to be seated. It’s annoying and I hope they can figure this out as it’s the norm for a while.
The food was fabulous. We ordered several different tacos (Chicken Tinga was the favorite) - they were all delicious. Great server - very pleasant and attentive. Has more of a sports bar feel with all the TV's. We will definitely be back but will eat outside on their patio when the weather gets warmer. For 4 of us, including bar, it was under $100. We thought it was very reasonable.
Service was excellent. Had our seating ready as soon as we got there. Food was delicious.
I had to go to the hostess to ask for a server to come to our table. The server was very nice. She brought the food. There was a long piece of hair in my husband's food. The server was mortified. They re-cooked it, offered us free dessert and did not charge us for our appetizer or my husband's plate. My shrimp was undercooked, but I thought I would just take it home and re-heat it. Typically we eat at their restaurant in Excelsior, but thought we would try this one since we were in the area. This was an unfortunate experience. They were quick to do what they could to remedy the situation.
Food & service were great! Loved being able to sit on the patio and enjoy the outdoor dining. One of our favorite spots for date night!
Service was sub par. Waitress kept us on the “back burner” for our initial order and for drink refills. Food was good, if you’re looking for authentic Mexican cuisine, this is not the place to go. Margaritas were delicious, the ambiance was great, but the overall experience made it not worth a second visit.
Those tres leches pancakes are the best pancakes I ever had. Great job!
Service was good but food came out cold. I will only go back for cocktails and appetizers.
Came for the happy hour street tacos, unfortunately the server told us it was only the meat options. I’m vegetarian so was disappointed that they did not have a meatless option for the tacos. Not sure how meat is cheaper than some veg or bean tacos?

The food was delicious and the server was nice. She didn't come around enough, our drinks were sitting empty for long periods of time.

What a fantastic uptown experience! We enjoyed our Sunday brunch and bloody Mary’s. Wonderful good and loved the take on huevos rancheros! So yummy. Very nice staff- loved every minute of our visit! Next time we will bring the kids. This is a must have and we will definitely be back again and again.
I really enjoyed the fire cracker shrimp tacos. The size of each taco was very surprising, they were way bigger then what I was expecting. Definitely spring for the queso dip!
If you want authentic tacos... not your place. They might as well of gotten their tortillas from the Walmart $1 section and thrown some ingredients in. Also, the chips and queso were subpar. Chips were freezing every time they brought them out. Food was cold.
Service is great but they need to step up their food game.
We sat outside due to COVID, but they lit a fire and a firepit. The food was absolutely delicious. We had the fried avocado, and--get this--my husband doesn't even like avocado but loved this appetizer! I really liked the individual taco selections--lots of choices and really good prices. We got the churro bombas for dessert. They were delicious. I'll go back!
Enjoyed the chicken tinga & carnita corn shell tacos as well as the large HDTV screens for catching sports.
Tacos were delicious but the chicken nachos looked like and tasted like a rotisserie chicken, a can of corn, a can of black beans, and a can of diced tomatoes were thrown on top. Not to mention the the slimy skin from the chicken thrown in. I recommend the tacos. The nachos, find another appetizer

Lago Taco is a must stop for delicious tacos, fantastic drinks and a good time! My partner and I eat here (or take out) regularly and it never disappoints! Highly recommend trying the carnitas taco and/or the portobello mushroom taco 🌮 🤤❤️
This was our first time back to Lago Taco after several years. What a great patio! It is a really fun space for outdoor dining and the food is great--lots of variety in the taco choices and the portion sizes are generous--three tacos were more than I could finish.
Huge breakfast portions and everyone there was super nice!

Great food and lots of variety on the menu. We at on the sidewalk out front and it was just as good as the patio.
Drinks - Happy hour drinks are awesome. $5 for a large stiff margarita is a great value knowing you will be drunk after 2.
Food - I would not feed my dog with it. What a joke. Tasteless, flavorless, and lack any kind of creativity.
