The service was excellent and the wine we chose but the menu was very limited and the food chosen I thought was almost inedible, sorry. We loved our stay though and would return but not to the restaurant.

Had a lovely evening celebrating our anniversary, a bit upset that you asked if we are celebrating anything which I did say we was and there was no offer of a free glass of Prosecco at least. The only down side was when we finished eating we went out on to the balcony, but no one came out to us to see if we would like another drink. So we left.

Staff food and ambience very good I had a Wowcher deal for 3 course meal and glass of Prosecco. Which I thought was good value for the deal however my own fault I didn’t notice the extra £20 per person for dining on a Friday or Saturday evening had I realised I would of booked an alternative night .

Lovely venue, enjoyed the open bar areas. Found the restaurant a little overpriced but only to be expected. Service a bit slow but were busy as the evening wore on. Poor choice of beers for the men. Would go again.

Meet and greet was very poor. Once we had a table the service was good though table clearing was slow. Same old story not enough staff because Rachel Reeves has priced them too high for hospitality to afford. Shame.

Unfortunately, this wasn’t a restaurant I’d choose to visit again. The food was fair but nothing particularly memorable, especially considering the £42 set menu, which felt overpriced for what was offered. Several dishes were very peppery, and the roast arrived covered in gravy, which wasn’t to my taste. The restaurant itself was also uncomfortably hot, making it less enjoyable to dine in. Service was slow and rather lacklustre, with nothing that stood out positively. Overall, an okay experience, but there are better dining options available.

The food was excellent, well presented and a nice amount. The staff were very welcoming. A lovely venue. The dress code was not upheld, a hand full of people, mainly men, were wearing vest tops, t-shirts, sports shorts, and even sliders. This needs to be addressed.

Starters were tasty but very small portions...once we had found them under the mountain of rocket. My friend had the roast chicken which was acceptable but I had the roast lamb which was very, very tough and EXTREMELY fatty. The waiter had to handle my plate very gently as there was so much gravy it was spilling over the edge. Not an appetising look. To go with my lamb I was given horseradish sauce and mustard!!! Mint sauce was provided on request. Obviously, much extra training for dining room staff is needed
