I had the Piedmontese rib-eye. She had the halibut. We split the beet salad. Delicious. Atmosphere was laid back and casual. Artwork and lighting were perfect. Cowboy hanging above our table reminded me of Lord Huron.

Nice spot, very enjoyable atmosphere. Service started out great but faded through the meal. Really enjoyed all the food and cocktails overall. The big exception was the Elk dish (excellent) was a portion of three small medallions of beef (perhaps 3 or 4 oz. Max) for $64 !! Could not believe the portion. It was an appetizer portion at best. They should fix this.

We ate in the downstairs area. It was cozy and relaxed, with a live music duo who played pretty good blues, etc, as background. Out waiter was very attentive, and all are dishes were tasty and well-priced. The only exception was a rum cake dessert that seemed parched for rum, leaving it lackluster. Also it should have been served warm rather than cold. But all is forgiven, as everything else was great!

I would say the food was OK… Expected a little bit more out of latitude 48 because it is considered one of the higher end restaurants in whitefish. The short ribs were good, the burger was just OK, and the roasted chicken was OK… Just not a ton of flavor

Husband and I enjoyed our meal and time at Latitude 48 and the bar area - The Red Room. Service was great. For our meal we chose the bison ravioli and the elk tenderloin, both were delicious. The bartender for the Red Room was amazing.

We had a nice time. The oysters, bread, crab cakes (a little salty) were delicious. The short rib was buttery and amazing; the grits that it came with were almost inedible. Not cooked nearly enough. The elk tenderloin was very good, the sides were a little cold. Bison ravioli were good and the pizza on the specials menu was quite good. The roasted mushrooms were just ok and the sweet potato fries were forgotten. Overall, we had a nice time but the food could’ve been better.

Our servicer and the tomato salad were great; however the rest of the experience not so. Bread appetizer was made from old bread (we have Ceres bread all the time and this was a very poor example of their bread). Chicken entree was mushy and all salt. The ceiling is low in the basement and the extremely loud drummer and marginal singer (who basically screamed words) impaired everyone’s ability to talk. We had not been to Latitude 48 for several years; we will not return. There are many great restaurants in the area - pick one of them.

Excellent food. Excellent service. We had carne asada flatbread outstanding, scallops over risotto and roast chicken. All delicious, great veggies too.
