Le Cassis Patisserie & Cooking School
The weekday promotion for the High Tea was a great deal. I would only recommend including 2 teapots instead of only one in the service. Overall, is a nice place for High Tea.
It was my second time at Le Cassis Patisserie and I was very disappointed this time. Their new high tea menu doesn’t worth even promotion price of 29$ per set. I hope they will change it soon and value of money that you pay and value of food that you get will match.
My daughter, granddaughter and I had a wonderful time sipping tea and enjoying tasty treats. Will be back!
Very fun to have tea while a group was learning how to make macaron. Service was excellent!
We love you Le cassis!
Lovely setting and table, food was excellent, good value. Would recommend to a friend.
We had the high tea this afternoon and everything was great! Both their famous saffron and the rose & saffron teas are amazing! The pastries were also excellent, including a nice and flaky croissant! Service was friendly, courteous, and exceeded our expectations!
It was an exceptional afternoon tea experience for my nieces’ birthday treat. The delectable selection of pastries and savoury snacks was exquisite and obviously prepared with love and care. Service was extremely warm and genuine. I will definitely return and bring more friends!
My family and I went there to meet up with a friend we have not seen in a few years, and we brought our kid with us in tow (since they have a kid's menu for high tea). The food was delicious and they have a great selection of teas. There are only a few tables, so be sure to reserve well in advance if you have a particular date and time in mind for high tea. Our favourites were the mushroom vol au vent, the macarons and the chocolate mousse tart.
Not impressed with the savoury
Service was slow n somewhat hard to understand each other
The teas were very nice
Some desserts were good
We got enough jam n cream for one person n we needed one each for the big scones
Filling up with this first wasn’t a good idea
However the whole experience didn’t wow me or interest me to come back!!
Charming little cafe. Good food and attentive service. Busy but not loud. Would definitely come back again and look forward to trying a special occasion numbers cake.
The food was exceptional and so so delicious! I mentioned in passing when we arrived that we were celebrating my mom's birthday and the chef prepared a little surprise for her. The owner was very friendly and explained a lot of the tea they carry. We will be back!
Everything was great. The only disappointment was they didn’t put anything special on my friends tray for her birthday like I had requested a few days before. Other than that, it was super.
Good food, nice place but service was a little bit slow. Also, at least one items in our afternoon tea set was substituted with another one but no one didn’t mention that. I don’t mind to try other sweets but I feel like they have to let customers know about any changes that they made.
Service was ok. Loved the scone which has a nice crispy yet fluffy centre. Perfect with the jam. Presentation and execution of other items could improve and have more artistic liberty. Taste was good and right level of sweetness. Often desserts are ruined with too much sugar. Love that scones weren't these miniature one bites and that some items were slightly larger - gives a good variance in size. Good choice for having afternoon tea. Spacious and tables set apart to have conversations.
Everyone at table must have afternoon tea service, which i thought to be weird. We were a party of two so I was wanting one tea service and then to order other pastries/desserts...but i was told everyone at table must have a set then u can order other items.
Brautiful interior, kind staffs, and delicious food. AWESOME!
Ordered high tea for my wife's birthday. Food was great, service was excellent, we will come back again for other occasions.
We had a lovely afternoon tea for our group of 6. The food was delicious and both the vegetarian and kids in our group were happy with the food. The service was great and they were super friendly.
I’ve hosted my birthday party there and we’ve ordered high tea. They made a beautiful table for us and service was absolutely amazing. We enjoyed their selection of desserts and savoury for high tea.
I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and service at Le Cassis Patisserie. Although the ambiance is a little too active for afternoon tea, if you time it right you should be able to enjoy a quiet experience. Your delightfully tea pot sits atop a tea candle (pun not intended) and keeps your tea warm. If you like it piping hot, all you have to do is ask for more hot water. I opted for a mixture of rose & black tea, it was rich yet fragrant. The portions are small, but you should expect that for afternoon tea. They were tastier than other places I dined at in Vancouver. The use of different types of "breads" for the finger sandwiches is a nice touch. Instead of white toast you got a mix of a croissant, puff pastry, blini, and mini sourdough each with their own unique topping. The scones were warm, but you can always ask for them to be warmed. I enjoyed them so much I asked for another one and it was on the house. Speaking of on the house, the manager brought over a saffron tea for me to try at no cost. He waited on me when the wait staff was busy with another customer and was always friendly and attentive. There is a larger area for afternoon tea parties if you're looking for a great option for mother's day or a young girl's birthday. When the bill came I expected a lot more, but was pleased to see I paid a fair price for the experience. It's definitely worth a stop to enjoy the pastries if you don't have time for afternoon tea!
I was there with my friend and we loved everything at this place. Food was pretty and delicious. Service was also great. I definitely will come back!
Great, food for high tea was amazing, tea list is small but all are tasty. Everything is clean is like a better laurdee. Staff is very nice and the own also came out to talk to everyone. They now offer gluten free options which we also tried and they so kindly replace stuff to cater to other allergies. Great small place and will be returning for sure.
My sister and I invited my mother to high tea at Le Cassis Patisserie we shared two pots, one flavoured with saffron and the other with rosebuds, both ingredients imported from Iran. What a treat!
This was our first visit to Le Cassis (and definitely will not be the last). The ambiance was very cute and felt like I was in a Parisian café. I came here with my mom and my 16 month old daughter for Mother's Day afternoon tea. The food was delicious and was presented on a traditional 3-tier platter (not sure that's what they're called?). There was a good variety of sweet and savoury treats and everything tasted delicious! The owner and the service staff were very friendly and attentive to all of our needs. We will definitely be back again!
Fantastic place for afternoon tea. Savouries, desserts, scones and tea were all delicious. Also, has a very nice kids tea.
Excellent service and some of the best desserts I have ever had. High tea was amazing.
