Consistently well prepared and special dishes. The service is professional and warm. The prices are reasonable. All of this during a pandemic. This isn't lucky, this is excellence.

Wonderful, simple French fare in quaint Bristol, RI.

We are lucky to live in a small town with LOTS of terrific restaurants. But Le Central is our favorite of all. The food is always beautifully prepared and delicious. But, best of all, Chef Jesse is wonderfully innovative. There are plenty of "mainstay" menu items, such as Steak Frites, Coq au Vin, Moroccan Chicken, etc.,...all delicious. But Jesse never fails to produce a "Specials" list that includes some imaginative starters and Entrees. Unfailingly surprising and excellent. There is also a really well-chosen wine selection, moderately priced.

Outstanding drinks (Bourbon smash), appetizers (Platter), entrees (salmon and swordfish) and dessert (turtles and ice cream). Beautiful ambiance and outstanding service by Kristen. Perfect place e for a chilly Bristol night.

It was expensive, but very nice. The food was very good, service as well, and it was empty when we were there... due to COVID restrictions. We'll be back.

Le Central has exceptional food and service. My wife and I have been coming here for years and have never been disappointed. The burger and fries on the brunch menu were perfectly cooked and the cosmopolitan was great. Definitely worth a visit.

Always a perfectly prepared meal. Imaginative spices and ingredient combinations for salad and soup offerings. Simply a prefect burger with delicious frites.

In these post-Covid times, we were craving a meal that would take us back to Paris and Le Central always has that effect on us. Traditional Parisian Bistro fare made with local ingredients and a modern approach were the perfect way to travel, even if for a moment, back to our favorite place in the world.

We were very pleased by the quality and preparation of our meal. Service was attentive and prompt without being intrusive. The appetizer plate we had was outstanding and the Lamb Chops and Moroccan chicken were very well prepared and presented. Creme Brulee for desert was adequate. My only disappointment was the quantity of chops in the meal, but I did leave relatively satisfied. It is a place we will go to again. I do believe the ambiance suffered because of the Covid problem, so looking forward to a future visit.

Always good food and a perfect place to have a quiet dinner . Very safe at this time of pandemic, all regulations being followed.

We had a very enjoyable experience at Le Central. Everyone liked their meal except for me; I had the coq au vin, and did not expect it to have a dark heavy gravy. But overall we had a good experience and will eat there again.

Really enjoyed our meal at Le Central. Started off with two specialty Bourbon cocktails. The appetizer Plateau was just the right amount of chilled shrimp, oysters and tuna tartare...fresh, crisp and perfectly presented. The salmon entree was outstanding. The rigatoni bolognese was perfect. No dessert on this visit. Outstanding. Kristen does a great job as server. Thank you!

Le Central has been one of our favorite restaurants for years. The food and service never disappoints ~ food is fresh, healthy and creatively presented and the service top notch.

Great restaurant. Great food, drinks, service and ambience. If you haven’t been to Le Central, make it a point to go. The Grande platter appetizer is a great starter. Fish, duck, chicken dishes are all outstanding and the Bourbon Smash drinks are amazing. Don’t miss it and Kristen does a great job presenting.

Always great food and service at reasonable prices, but great spacing of a limited number of tables during Covid

meals were delicious as usual. Ambience would be improved without the fake greenery in the middle of the room. Just the real plants would suffice.

Always enjoy the food , favorite is Moroccan chicken, wish I could reproduce this recipe!

Can’t go wrong here! Have had dinner here several times & have tried most dinner options, always prepared perfectly. Waitstaff is attentive. Perfect setting for quiet romantic dinner out. We’ll be back!

Wonderful lunch...

We'd love to give a glowing review as we don't want to see any restaurant in Bristol go out of business - but we just can't.

We've tried Le Central 3 or 4 times in the last 4 years and have never been impressed but last Friday was downright awful. The grilled lobster was barely grilled and barely warm; my whole plate was covered with an innocuous oil of some sort - no flavor, just oil smothering the barely cooked green beans, fingerlings and a bite or two of beets, arugula and the microscopic portion of onion jam. My partners plate, salmon nicoise suffered the same fate. Dessert was an over-rated piece of puff pastry with very, very thinly sliced apple. It is very hard to believe there is a chef somewhere in the mix here.

We have phenomenal seafood in our area, yet there is hardly any entree that showcases the wonderful variety we have.

We won't be going back.

The only change I would make is to have round tables which are so much friendlier.

Excellent choice to dine, will visit again soon. Two members of our party went the very next day for brunch.

I’ve been here several times. Very good food, nice place. Thought the size of my entree was a bit small but very good. Martini was a little pricey for Bristol, RI! Wish there were more choices on the menu.

We have eaten here too many times to count but this time the service wasn't up to their regular level. New waiter to us and just a bit slow and uninterested in good service. Had to ask for everything. Food is fantastic!!!

We love Le Central! The food is excellent. The specials are always excellent. It's spotlessly clean and has wonderful ambience. I would trust that kitchen for cleanliness like no other. Even in "just" making soup, the stocks are made from scratch. I would recommend it to anyone, whether you want a bistro burger and (homemade) French fries, duck, or a salmon nicoise. Highly recommend!

Excellent as always! Great food, great atmosphere, and the stimulus dinner was perfect!

Good and service were excellent. This was out first dine-in experience since Covid and it allayed my anxiety. From the spacing out of tables, menus face up under glass covered tables to eliminate handling them, staff wearing masks and sanitizer at the door it was clear efforts were net made to keep all safe Well done!
