Sauce was not anything special .
Chips were the best thing

Good God I love this place. The food is always brilliant and as we've not been for months it was even better than we remembered.
Lovely service, excellent food and wine. What more could one want.

Well there is one thing on the menu. Steak and chips. But I can tell you it’s good quality steak and the chips are nice. Staff are nice and accommodating couldn’t fault the service. By no means is it “amazing” it’s just nice. Veggies and vegans beware unless all you want is chips.

Needed to be at the theatre, so easy menu to choose as it’s just steak and chips....service excellent and quick, just what we needed as we only had an hour

Beautiful meal and wine, very simple but delicious, perfect for pre theatre.

Sat by the door and also the food was next to the doorway so once it opened the cold air made us freezing and the food was then cold too

I just love this place, it was nice being able to book which you can’t at there other place in Marlene. Staff are great and food is lovely. I recommend this place to all my friends .

We both had coffee and the milk was off I had an upset stomach in the evening

We went very early - our reservation 4:45pm. It was not at all crowded & while we were there they did leave tables empty between groups of diners. But it was clear that we were the only Mkt family from the same household there. The other groups of 2s & 3s were not from the household & were not challenged by the reataurant staff.

Apart from not having the Vacherin available on the desert list, the food was excellent as it always has been.

Service too was efficient as always. Wait staff used masks. But I’m not sure the credit card device was cleaned between use. I did notice the tables & chairs were being wiped down by the wait staff after diners left.

Amazing steak!!!! Wow the sauce is out of this world 🙌🏼🙌🏼 Definitely one of my top 3 restaurants in London. Just wish the place becomes a bit more updated. I know it goes with the Parisian vibes, but I feel it needs to be a bit more lively inside!

I love this restaurant, the food is outstanding (and so is the house red) but one thing I always think when I'm there is how lovely would it be for the lights to be dimmed and a candle on the table. I understand it is a traditional style but I think it make it even more special.

What is there to say other than it was great. Remember to book in advance as there was a long queue.

Fairly regular visitor to this restaurant and always a great experience with friendly staff.

We liked the restaurant and would go back again, However, It felt a little frantic on entering the restaurant, was kept waiting having booked. French Fries were yummy but the meat not as good as the restaurant in Geneva.

Overall, a nice experience and would recommend a visit.

Scrumptious food comes in affordable price with the EOTHO. Despite being so crowded, the waitresses try to provide their best service at decent time.

Food was great, but service personel are not very pleasant. Every little thing you ask for you feel as they where doing you a favour. Not very welcoming to come back..

The manager was the most awful manager. Clearly didn't care about the business. I asked for a butter and she said in a rude way that they don't serve butter. She didn't even offer an alternative when they had olive oil! I feel sad for the business owner with hiring that manager. The stff were much more better than the manager. Will never go back with such a horrible behaviour

The food was amazing and the manager Ana made the whole experience even better. I’ll be returning for sure.

We had a lovely meal at RdV,
which was up to it’s usual high standard.

Simple menu: salad, then steak and chips with a good sauce (the only choice is how you want your meat cooked and then from a small range of sweets). Good food, good drink good service.

The food was okay but the service was awful. The waitresses rush around with no care for the clients. We had never been before and I feel the unique experience should be explained but it wasn’t. Total disregard for client experience. The host is also incredibly rude and should work on her people skills.

With Covid restrictions there is no longer a plate of steak/fries that is constantly replenished - but they do ask if you would like more and give you a second serving. The food is simple, but very good, and the ambience remains even with table spacing. Would definitely recommend !

Amazing steak and service. Great concept of a fixed menu with second helpings if you can squeeze it in. Would definitely recommend and return.
